From a communications centre in Karsopolis, Governor Karson Sharp was preparing a message. It would be broadcast all over the known Universe. It would also be broadcast live, to all civilisations known and hopefully some unknown as well.
In a level and warm tone, Sharp gave his message.
It said,
"Greetings, citizens of the Universe. This is Governor Karson Sharp, Governor Of Karsopolis and Ruler Of The Dothvalian Confederacy speaking. Due to recent Invader incursions into Triangulum as well as Confederate space, I feel it is crucial the Allied leaders meet to discuss greater cooperation against the Abyssal threat. Major topics will include Confederate efforts in the Milky Way and at home, as well as ongoing battles within our space. We will also recognise several major heroes to the Allied war effort. But the greatest effort of the conference will be to mend Colonial-Confederate relations and foster streamlined cooperation in the war effort. Towards this end, we have good news for the Colonial Delegation, as well as a gift. Security will be provided by the Confederate Military, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own escorts. Any non-Abyssal civilisation receiving this message has an open invitation to attend. Please bring your finest military strategists, scientists, logisticians, and engineers. You'll understand why once the conference begins. May God watch over all of your journeys. I'll see all of you on Karsopolis."
With that, Sharp ended the message, and awaited replies.

Some of the first to reply were the traditionally isolationist Kirdoni Commonwealth, the shattered remnants of the Eldari Empire, the Eldari Protectorate, and finally the Konstrikt, mechanical foreigners from a distant galaxy.
"Us here in the Commonwealth have bunkered ourselves far too long into our corner of space, but now, we will lend our full support. We will send our best military strategists, scientists, engineers, logisticians, and our technological secrets. Slava Sodruzhestva!(Glory to the Commonwealth!)"
At the same time, in the capital world of the KirCom, a fleet of 100 ships prepare to jump into hyperspace towards the Triangulum. These ships bear Durgadon's greatest names in the realms of science, war, and engineering, including the famous creator of the Iosif Stalin battleship, Yuri Keleshkov. Among them also is the (in)famous Zarjh Kuhalkor, a Kirdoni general that crushed the attacking Ujarin pirates 38 years ago. And now, finally, the Premier of the Commonwealth himself, Boris Yeltsin, a strategist, scientist, and statesman.
Meanwhile, the Protectorate sends back its own reply:
"We are here to lend you our best of the best. However, we cannot promise tha everything will go smoothly here, as the Tal'darim Insurgents are wreaking havoc in 5 systems. We will do our best to send them to the Triangulum, however. En Taro Adun."
In the orbit above Aiur, a fleet of 230 warps into Triangulum, trying to reach Confederate territory as soon as possible to avoid being attacked by the Insurgents. Everything is well...
In a rather erie, resounding tone, the Konstrikt Overmind replied to the message.
"Us Konstrikt have always despised the Abyssals, and any cause that desires their destruction can expect our support. We are coming..."

Jupiterran Star Fleet Delegation
Star Admiral Julius Silverheart Star Admiral Sarah Voran Fleet Admiral Kanzaki Silverheart Fleet Admiral Gavin Naido
In Liaison with the Federated Colonies, Vice Admiral Shimazaki Haruna
The Star Fleet arrived in an impressive show of minimal force. A single battlecruiser named JSRF Haruna-II, the first Star Fleet battlecruiser which challenged the Invaders weeks ago. While Sarah and Gavin were already on Karsopolis, the other two members of the Star Fleet arrived over the Capital. Now, they only needed to wait for the liaison.

The Federated Colonies The Parliament of the Federation Joint Meeting of the Federal Diet and the Federal Council
Die Föderierten Kolonien Der Bundesparlament Gemeinsame Sitzung des Bundestages und des Bundesrates
Xalion, the Capital of the Federated Colonies The Palace of the Parliament
If the unfortunately polluted planet of Xalion was the center of the Colonies, then without a moment of hesitation, anyone would say that the Palace of the Parliament was the center of Xalion. The place where the Federal Diet, the Federal Council and the Federal Government reunited to hold their meetings. The place where the laws of the Colonies where made, the place from where the Colonies were ruled, the symbol of the will and freedom of the people of the Federation. The Palace was built as a gargantuan spherical structure, but as it was following the normal way the buildings in Xalion were built, a large part of it was underneath the surface, making it look like a huge dome to an outside observer. In the huge sphere inside, the lower part was reserved for the Federal Diet, the platforms holding the thousands of members from all across the galaxy being arranged in a circle, floating in formation. In the upper part of the sphere, in arranged in a similar way, were the platforms of the Federal Council, holding the direct representatives and leaders of the nations forming the Federated Colonies. And in the center of the sphere, surrounding the pylon holding the huge black eagle statue, the platforms of the Federal Government. Large holographic projectors were showing off what was needed, and all the platforms were interconnected, so any member of the Parliament who was speaking could be heard by its colleagues. The atmosphere today was rather... tense, a clear result of the current political instability of the Colonies. For centuries, the Parliament had made countless decisions and influenced the history of the Colonies. And now, another decision had to be made. Will the Colonies join the Conference?..
...May God watch over all of your journeys. I'll see all of you on Karsopolis..."
As the message Xalion had received from Karsopolis had ended, the Parliament remained mostly quiet, with the members of the Bundestag and the Bundesrat whispering between themselves. Now that such a message had been received, it was obvious what the next motion was going to be, and the members of the factions had already started to talk about it, in the secrecy of the private lines.
In her place in the middle of the sphere, the rather tired Chancellor of the Colonies, looked around, trying to judge the situation. In the last elections, Concordia had failed to gain the majority, although it still remained the largest faction, creating all of this instability. Neither Concordia nor Bellum were able to gain the majority or challenge the other on their own, leading to a lot of debates, and a lot of attempts to convince the independent members. Under normal circumstances, such a motion would have taken a few days only to be discussed, but they had no time, and everyone knew that. It was going to be decided, now.
We now have to decide whether the Federated Colonies will send a delegation to this Conference or not. To pass, the motion has to gain a simple majority. Due to special circumstances, we shall no longer hold any debates before that, and vote directly. The vote will start in a few minutes.
After the declaration of the Debate Master, the Chancellor looked at a certain member of the Council, the one who was dominating the region of the council occupied by the white wearing representatives of the Axiom Curia. Cardinal.... it was so hard to tell what the blind girl was thinking, but the Chancellor was sure that the Bellum faction was going to block the motion, and stop the Colonies from sending a delegation to Karsopolis... this was going to be a risky vote.
The vote will begin... now. After a minute of silence, the results were announced, and the Chancellor held her breath. For 40%, Against 40%, Abstain 20%. The motion has failed to pass.
Now that it had come to this, there was only one thing left to do. Standing up, the Chancellor started to speak. "I believe that taking part in this Conference will be essential to the survival of the Federated Colonies in this war. All the nations in this corner of the universe have to fight together against the Abyssal threat. I know that this isn't an opinion shared by all the citizens of the Colonies. But sometimes, difficult decisions have to be made, and they have to be made right. I'm using my veto right to force the approval of this motion."
The Diet erupted in an uproar, with each of its members speaking, screaming, a similar reaction happening to the Council. While the Chancellor did have the right to use its veto right once, an entire decade had passed ever since something like that had happened. It was risky... but it had to be done. With the veto right of the Chancellor Laura Meisner, the proposal passes. The Federated Colonies will send a delegation to the Conference in Karsopolis. The Chancellor shall be tasked with choosing the members of this delegation.
Moving on to the next motion, the Federal Diet and the Federal Council have to vote on accepting or denying the proposal to restart Protocol Bloody Summer....
Meanwhile, in her seat, a rather well known silver haired blind girl smiled, whispering something to the nun next to her. "She used her veto... start the preparations for the motion of no confidence..."
The Federated Colonies The Chancellor of the Colonies
Die Föderierten Kolonien Der Bundeskanzler
The Office of the Chancellor officially declares that in accordance with the motion voted by the Federal Parliament, the Federated Colonies will take part in the Conference on Karsopolis. The members of the delegation will be: Julius Kingsley, Hegemon of the Federated Colonies, the High Cardinal of the Holy Axiom Church, Great Admiral of the Colonial War Fleet Alexander Werther, Commodore of the Colonial War Fleet Irisdina Bernhard, together with the liaison of the Jupiterran Star Fleet, Vice Admiral Shimazaki Haruna.
God bless the Federated Colonies.

Though Archene, himself, was already on his way to the conference, The Collective was still compelled to answer as a whole. "The Acruani of The Collective will be sending Leader Archene Night, already on appropriate transportation to the designed location. The Loroi will be sending High Councillor Pelcar, Loroi Representative to the Acruani. The Humans of Andromeda have been notified of this message to ensure that they have an answer. We will see you there." Around the same time this message was sent to the Confederacy, another message was sent to the Great Council of Humans in the Andromeda, the same massage also directly linked to the Human Representative to the Acruani, to view when he finds more convenient, should he check his personally modified alpha watch. "Greetings, Representatives of the Humans in Andromeda. This is Archene Night, leader of the Acruani speaking. As some of those look though the recent battle data, we have recently participated in combat in the Milky Way. In order to further our ability to coordinate the Allied forces, I would like for representatives of The Humans in Andromeda, to participate with the rest of the Collective in the upcoming meeting in Karsopolis. In order to show the great unity we have, even in turbulent times with the Abyssals, even with the upcoming plebiscite that may end our union. May We meet well in Karsopolis." The 'battle data' in the Milky Way, was nothing more than a vague account of the forces mobilized by Acruani and the amount of ships lost in Line Stacia. In the general data stream, available to those of any rank it would only show a victory against the Invaders, where Acruani, Colonials and the Star Fleet cooperated against the Invaders for a victory. Once the meeting was over, the same data stream would also show visual data about the battle and release more numerical data in regards to the Acruani. (As obviously, Star Fleet and Colonial numbers would be undisclosed.) Scenes of Acruani ships throwing themselves in front of oncoming fire would be among the highlights, once such stream was disclosed.

The Great Council of the Humans in the Andromeda Der Großrat der Menschen in der Andromeda
After receiving both the messages of the Dothvalian Confederacy and the Acruani Collective, the Great Council of the Humans in the Andromeda, as the sole organization fully representing the humans in the galaxy of the Andromeda, has decided to also send a delegation to the Conference in Karsopolis. The delegation will have the purpose to held negotiations in the name of the Great Council and the humans of the Andromeda.
As we have stated many times in the past, we wish for a peaceful diplomatic solution to the problems of the Andromeda Galaxy. Despite the way we have been ripped apart and oppressed in the last decades, even if many of the inhabitants of the Andromeda consider us invaders, colonists, conquerors, those are things of the past. We are inhabitants of this galaxy just as much as everyone else, and we want to live in peace with our neighbors. Instead of holding on to old grudges, we should all unite and face the common threat that the Abyssals are.
The delegation will be formed by the Chancellor of the Great Council and two other Council members. We certainly hope that this Conference will help to the peace and harmony of all the galaxies in this corner of the universe.

Some time after the GCHA sent their message to Karsopolis, the Suprions received the proclaimation, and there it took still a bit more time for the higher officials to give heed to the message due to their systems being busy in the production of the robotic Sanctifiers. They received it well, and passed it on the Thal'has, and as soon as it finished, the two kings and one queen looked at each other at their thrones for a while before finally giving their statements.
Erga'has, the Ploutonic Ek-Ton Emperor, was the one who spoke for the rest, and thus he said,
"We have recieved the Confederate message, and we are ready to give our assistance as needed. Being the nearest to the Confederacy in terms of distance, we will swiftly gather our best people and send them over to Karsopolis. Glory to the Union, and may the Arga be at our side."
Meanwhile, in the various research stations of the Suprions, many of the the greatest scientists, strategists, engineers, craftsmasters, and logisticians board their carrier ships, headed for Karsopolis. Because the Union is currently building a gargantuan robotic army, it cannot send every single great single scientists/craft masters, and in the end, only 50 scientists(including the apprentice of Ul'Nir, the greatest among them)along with 30 strategists, 100 engineers, and 68 logisticians went to Karsopolis. But still, they knew what their colleagues know, and they will speak in their behalf. They knew exactly what to utter...

After receiving and considering the various messages, Sharp decided to finally reply after a long period of silence. He had been awaiting the return of Admiral Henderson, who had recently returned from Maarlox. The response stated,
"To all states who have chosen to attend, thank you for your presence. I'm glad that cooperation remains possible in these dark times. If you'll simply proceed to the coordinates within the message and follow the attached instructions of Confederate Orbital Command, the conference will begin once everyone has arrived.

The Federated Colonies The Colonial War Fleet Colonial Military Ship Frederick the Great
Die Föderierten Kolonien Die Koloniale Kriegsflotte Koloniale Militärschiff Frederik der Große
Final jump completed successfully. Destination successfully reached. FTL drives entering standby mode. Maintain Condition Two until further orders.
Sometime after the Governor sent his reply, a Colonial battlecarrier jumped into the orbit of Karsopolis. It's IFF data named it as "CMS Frederick the Great (FG-421)", marking it as one of the two existing Heritage Class, or how they had been known in the project stage, H Class, 4th Generation Super Heavy Battlecarriers. A truly gargantuan and powerful ship, the Frederick had already proved itself during the Battle of Line Stacia, where together with its sister ship, Charles the Great, had played a pivotal role in the Unternehmen Jericho. Now, the ship was used to transport the Colonial delegation for the Conference, in order to show the might and power of the Federated Colonies.
To the Confederate Orbital Control, this is the Colonial Military Ship Frederick the Great, a Heritage Class Battlecarrier of the Colonial War Fleet, codename Friedrich Gustav 421. We request instructions in order to send the delegation of the Federated Colonies on the surface of the planet. FG421 Actual, over.

While Archene had been given a personal transport and was heading to the Conference directly through such transport, the other representatives from the Collective were still on their way, in a way or another.
Meanwhile, arriving at the given coordinates, a black capital ship arrived. It was the ALMHS Melinoe, the Loroi flagship as the Confederates databases would show. The ship was over 20 meters long and had a spear-shape, much like two cones connected. While it didn't seem to have any propulsion, it 'rear' side shone slightly as it moved, showing that the ship's surface was made of relatively small hexagons and that in between them there was a silver liquid shining. (Something that wasn't clear even on close ups on the other end.) It was a new technology of the Acruani, one of the rare ones that originated from themselves.
To the Confederate Orbital Control, this is the Acruani-Loroi Military High Ship Melinoe. We are formally requesting authorization to send the Acruani-Loroi delegation to the surface of the planet.
In regards to the delegation from the Humans of Andromeda, the Acruani could only hope that the Conference was not used negatively against them and the rest of the IIA. Though at the same time they truly hoped that when the Humans in Andromeda made their vote, they chose to stay as a part of the Collective. The future was for later however, unless the topic was cited, the Acruani only wished for the termination of the Invaders by a united Alliance.

The Great Council of the Humans in the Andromeda Der Großrat der Menschen in der Andromeda
Some time after the arrival of the Colonial and Acruani ships into the orbit of Karsopolis, another ship jumped in the orbit, using what was seemingly a Colonial FTL drive. The ship itself seemed to be pretty similar to Colonial designs, however, its design language was a little different, and it seemed to be smaller than most Colonial ships, being built more for speed and agility, then the usual resistance and offensive power of the Colonial Ships of the Line. It's color scheme, gray with black, was also more similar to the old, pre-Intergalactic Wars scheme of the Colonial War Fleet, and clearly different from the current scheme used by ships like the Frederick the Great. However, its IFF system showed something completely different, identifying the ship as the Military Ship of the Human Council, MSHC Sovereignty(S-145). It was the ship carrying the delegation of the Human Council in Andromeda, who had chosen to come separately from the delegation of the Acruani Collective, in what was maybe just a way to show that the humans were really serious in their attempts of autonomy or independence. To the Confederate Orbital Control, this is the Military Ship of the Human Council Sovereignty, codename Sierra-OneFourFive. Requesting permission and instructions to bring the delegation of the Great Council of the Humans in the Andromeda to the surface of Karsopolis.

A Jupiterran Cruiser zoomed into orbit over Karsopolis, bearing official seals of Star Admiral Gaius Silverheart. The commander of the domestic defence fleet around Sol, Gaius has arrived to join Gavin Naido and Sarah Vorran for the Council talks regarding a united front against the Invaders.
"Looking good." Gaius said as he embraced Sarah, the other Star Admiral who now travels on a hoverchair, similar to Kanzaki as the wife of Gaius recovers from her assault.
"Alright..." Gaius said.
"We're here... to answer the Call to Unity."

Karsopolis, Orbital Command
"Orbital Command here," a young officer said in an even tone of High Confederate. "To everyone attending the conference, allow me to first say, welcome. I'm glad all of you could attend. Secondly, please proceed to Hangar Seven. It's in the Western hemisphere, and some light patrol vessels from the Confederate Navy will guide you there. The safety of the delegations is a major priority. Once you've landed, you're free to disembark."
As the delegations descended into the atmosphere, they would notice the towering forests, whose trees rivalled the height of skyscrapers mere miles away. They would also notice the deep, clear oceans, as well as the clean coastal mountains. The conference was being held in Port Stephen, a major coastal spaceport on the Confederacy's capital world. A floating city was also visible nearby. And all of the scenery, the fine balance between nature and artifice, would be visible because today was cloudy without rain. Instead, constant lightning illuminated everything in the still air.
Inside the spaceport, the delegation ships would be directed so that each delegation would disembark to face the exit, where Confederate officials would greet them.

The Federated Colonies Colonial Delegation to the Conference
Die Föderierten Kolonien Koloniale Delegation für der Konferenz
After receiving the answer from the Confederate Orbital Control, the crew of the Frederick the Great put the Heritage Class Super Heavy Battlecarrier in a proper trajectory in the orbit of Karsopolis. It was quite obvious that it would have been better for everyone if the gigantic Colonial Ship of the Line would stay out of the planet's atmosphere, so the Colonial delegation entered in one of the many transport fighters the ship had, and used it to land.
During the descent in the atmosphere, the direct Colonial part of the delegation, or more exactly, the ones who had spent a lot of time on Colonial planets, were indeed a little surprised. The Hegemon, Great Admiral Alexander Werther, and Cardinal watched the scenery with a little envy. It was quite clear that at least when it came to their capital, the Confederates were much better than the Colonials at keeping nature and the artificial in balance. While in the past, the Colonies have had a good record at it, with planets like Terra Nova, and the old Xalion having been known all across the galaxies as wonderful, nature filled planets of harmony, both having earned the title "the Green Jewel of the Colonies" during their respective periods. But that were times long gone. Terra Nova was an empty, nuclear wasteland, and Xalion was literally dying because of pollution. Many other planets under direct Federal control weren't any better, since due to the events of the last decades, like war, superpopulation, and a desperate need for resources, the Federals had put much more accent on the industry and the artificial. One of the only nations of the Federation who actually was very good at keeping their worlds natural was of course, the Holy Empire of Luminaris, so there was no envy in the Holy Empress.
Not before long, guided by light patrol vessels of the Confederate Navy, the Colonial Heavy Transport Fighter landed in the spaceport,. in Hangar Seven, and the Colonial delegation disembarked.
The Hegemon came first, wearing one of this usual black-golden Colonial uniforms, denoting his status as the Supreme Commander of the Colonial Armed Forces. The uniform was fairly simple, without many decorations, except from the white-black Colonial War Cross, and an armband with the Colonial blue-red flag, the Twelve Stars, and the Cross on his left arm. Although he was smiling, and he was overall looking pretty alright, it would have been obvious for anyone who had known him from before that he was fairly tired.
He was holding hands with Cardinal, helping the blind, silver haired girl. Walking on the Hegemon's right side, she looked like exactly like she had always looked. But that was surely also adding to her mysterious aura. She was wearing her official outfit as a the head of the High Church of Axiom, with a silver dress, and a silver tiara. On the left side of the Hegemon however was the Holy Empress of Luminaris, easily distinguishable by her green dress, green hair, dark green eyes, and the weak greenish hue of her skin, specific to her race. Behind the three there were Great Admiral Alexander Werther, as the representative of the Kriegsflotte, and Vice Admiral Shimazaki Haruna, the liaison officer of the Jupiterran Star Fleet. The delegation was also followed by two Colonial soldiers, who were however wearing their parade uniforms, with their grey-blue color, the Colonial armbands, and their characteristic helmets. Even if they had parade uniforms however, they probably also had the small nanosuit with them, and they were lightly armed, with pistols and each of them having an energetic sword in their sheathes. Of course, the presence of three Ancient Sword wielders in the delegation was more than enough to guarantee their safety.
After disembarking, the Colonials waited for the Confederate officials to greet them.
