Rafael observed the ceremony with reverence, seeing the traditions and culture of the Sein'Hae and taking note of them. The speech was short but arousing, as the Sein'Hae began anew with fresh resolve.
Rafael stepped up as he was called, honoured at being called an honourary member of the Clan. A mask was offered to him, which he accepted, taking it and wearing it like the Sein'Hae did.
"Truly, I am honoured to be one recognised by the Sein'Hae. I promise on my honour that we will ensure the survival and revival of the Sein'Hae, with all that I can, I promise to honour my word, and be a worthy bondsmate of Ahuna."

The Chief chuckled a little, gently nudging Ahuna over to Rafael. "Of course you will, I wouldn't have allowed it if I didn't think you were capable. I hope you can also see the possibility of additional bonds being formed between our species."
He gestured to a small gathering of hunters off to the side of the ceremony, armed with weapons that they had recovered from Endovul II during the evacuation, along with a few new, cruder weapons that they had just made.
"Those over there are still fight-worthy, willing to go out and hunt with your own kin whenever they get the chance. I've gotten them to agree to smaller hunts for now, to reduce the chance of perishing in such dire times. I hope that's okay with you, Rafael."
The armed hunters knelt down upon being gestured to, looking forward to getting a chance to fight something again. After all, it was what they were best at. Ahuna gently took Rafael's arm, positioning herself partially behind him to hide herself from the crowd in the dim room.

Rafael nodded.
"To keep the spirit of your people alive, I will ask for permission to allow a portion to inhabit a planet rich in wildlife. There, they will work with Jupiterrans to colonise a terraformed planet or moon, made able for you all to repopulate yourselves within the Jupiterran Territories."
Looking at Ahuna, and back to the chief, Rafael continued. "It might take a while, but we will be able to maintain your hunting spirit. Be it on land, or in space, we can adapt. You will be given the choice of continuing an existence just as before, or hunt with us Jupiterrans with our technology, and possibly in your own ships. The choice will be yours."

"Of course. As of now, I imagine we only have enough to begin forming small camps on a new world, perhaps have a small Star-Strider to keep it safe. We will grow in time, though, perhaps eventually we will be flying with Star-Striders of our own design and construction alongside yours. We may even return to our homeworld, and scour it for artifacts to remember those lost one day. But that's looking quite far ahead. For now, I will have to begin talking to those here, and figure out who wishes to go where. I'll leave you two be." With a nod and smile, the Chief took off to speak to his kin, leaving Rafael and Ahuna alone.
"...What kind of planet will we get to settle on, Rafael? Is it going to be a nice one, away from those horrid monsters that attacked us?" Ahuna's attention settled on Rafael with inquisitive eyes.

Rafael smiled as he led Ahuna back to their room for a rest after the meal and ceremony. Ever since their long periods of bonding, they have not had a proper time of rest, so engrossed was Rafael on his work, as well as his promise to impregnate Ahuna, that he was only feeling the strain now.
"We can choose a planet where there will be few predators, a balanced planet, or one teeming with danger. There are a variety of such worlds, Sol has hundreds... thousands of planets, and some might be similar to Endovul II. But the safety of your people is our priority, and we should allow you all to live with the Jupiterran colonists, who would no doubt be willing to grant the Sein'Hae space."
Reaching his room, Rafael yawned as he simply took off his coat and lay on the bed. "If you aren't tired, the terminal is there for you to access, Ahuna."

"Hm... I think one without many predators would be nice, give us an easier chance of repopulating. Though, we might lose our edge doing that, so it'd be best if it had some kind of hunting grounds where we can keep our skills in check. Can't have us going soft now, right?"
She hopped onto his terminal, deciding to find out if she could make a basic digital log to start recording data in, letting Rafael catch up on some rest; both of them had fairly busy days, and now was a good time for some rest whilst nothing was happening. Should she get a log set up or not, she'd eventually join Rafael in bed, shedding her clothes as she curled up against him for some sleep.
