Undisclosed Acruani System in Andromeda
Although it might as well be like any Acruani system, this specific one had a dozen forty thousand ship formations, all of them safely away from any planets to avoid any possible problems. The formations, unlike in the Battle of Tau System, only had shiny white ships, proof that all of them had the new Beldarix coating.
In less than a minute, all the Acruani formations finished jumping out of the system.
Outer Edges of Line Stacia
The Acruani formations all jumped in nearly simultaneously, making a total of nearly half a million ships, most of them being just standard Acruani Capital ships. "Greetings forces present in the system. This is the Acruani Collective, we are here to ensure the defense of Line Stacia."

Willingly or not, the Acruani had jumped in the middle of a huge battle, spanning around 600 light years in all sides. The remains of Line Stacia, more specifically, die Flottengruppe Rhein, together with their reinforcements, die Flottengruppen Niesse und Silesien, were desperately holding their ground against an Invader Hive Fleet, a gargantuan Invader Fleet, numbering almost 1 million ships, that were mercilessly pushing forward against the overwhelmed and inferior Colonial ships. Unternehmen Jericho, despite the promises of the Colonial propaganda, was more of a desperate move, that could be compared to the operations in the history of Earth like Frühlingserwachen and Wacht am Rhein. The Invaders were simply too many, and despite the Colonial efforts, their lines and forces were pushed back, in this chaos that filled thousands of systems with death and destruction. Led by the Colonial Military Ship Frühling(Spring), the three Flottengruppen were already considering the possibility of retreating, but the fact that the evactuation of the civilians wasn't completed yet, combined with the desperate orders of the Central High Command stopped them from doing that. Even so, this battle was going terribly wrong for the Colonials. To the Acruani Forces that have just entered this system, this is the Colonial Military Ship Frühling. You came just in time, we are facing an Invader Hive Line, led by a Hive Queen Base. If these defenses fail, the entire front will be crippled. We can't allow this to happen!

After quick scans through the system the Acruani replied, "We will attempt to divert their attention before we can organize an effective counter-offensive or facilitate a Colonial retreat if required. Do you have the coordinates of the Invader's Hive Queen Base?"
There were ten Acruani spherical formations with each of them having well over forty thousand ships. They were mostly composed of Acruani capital ships, but there was a palpable number of Acruani Hive Queens in the core of each formation, certainly only waiting before properly using their Hyperion cannons.
Less than five minutes later six of the formations jumped deeper into the system, somewhat in between the Invader and Colonial fleets while still remaining slightly to the side of them to avoid staying directly in between them. Meanwhile the four remaining formations appeared on the opposite side of the Invader fleet. Acruani ships as a whole began releasing an incredible number of Heavy and Light fighters, which soon began to buffer the Acruan formation.
As Acruani began to scan the Invader's formation for this Invader Hive Queen Base, the Acruani Hive Queens visibly began to change their shape, clearly preparing to fire their Hyperion cannons towards the Invaders (though haste considered, certainly not as strongly as it may have been).

Koloniale Verteidigungslinie Stacia Flottengruppen Rhein, Niesse, und Silesien The Colonial Defense Line Stacia Fleet Groups Rhine, Niesse, Silesia
Suddenly, an Invader superlaser cannon hit the C.M.S. Fruhling, the flagship of Line Stacia, severely damaging it. It's main command center had been damaged, and its captain was now lying dead on the ground... this was going simply worse and worse. Could the Colonials still actually win? Or will they have to retreat just like many times before, defeated without even having a chance to win? "Abandon all posts! Retreat!", the Fruhling's XO shouted, wounded, and his men were ready to folllow his orders, until someone entered the Command Center. Two people. More specifically, a young woman and a young man. The woman was... imposing would be a good adjective to describe her. It wasn't her rather tall build, her long blonde hair, her dark blue eyes, or her natural beauty it was simply... that she was emanating charisma. The very moment she entered, the chaos of the damaged command center simply stopped.
"Soldiers! We shall stand here! The orders are to hold this line at all costs! Start the emergency generators, and open communications with the rest of the line. We shall hold our positions!", the blonde haired woman said, looking at the crew members present here. "With what authority! I said retreat!", the rather old XO said. The very moment he said that, the red haired young man next to the woman pointed his pistol at it. Motioning to him to put his gun down, the woman continued to speak, as calm as ever. "Put your pistol back, Leutnant Eberbach. Let me handle this.", she said to her companion, before looking at the XO. "I am Kommodore Irisdina Bernhard. By the direct orders of the Hegemon, I shall take complete command of this line. Or are you challenging the Z.O.K. and refusing to follow the orders, Executive Officer?" The X.O. looked around, trying to seek support from his men. But the woman was just too imposing... and nobody seemed to be on the XO's side. She was almost a typical example of how the Colonial officers had to be. Cold, charismatic, calm, and ready to do anything. Sighing, the XO made a step back. "You have the command, Frau Kommodore.". Commodore Bernhard made a step forward. "Let's do this, men!"
Suddenly, the Colonial forces, chaotically pushed back, seemed to gain back their forces, entering formation, and holding their ground. Something had happened, that was sure. But right now, the Colonials didn't seem that eager to retreat... they had to fight, and they were going to fight, right here, and right now. A message was sent to the Acruani.
No, we don't have it. Please work together with out fighter units in their queen hunt, we have to find the enemy Swarm Queen as soon as possible. We'll try to hold out.
With the Colonials trying to resist, refusing to allow to be pushed back, the Invaders suddenly realized that the Acruani were there, and started to attack them too. Swarms of xenomorphic fighters started to head for the Acruani ships, while the Invader bases opened fire with wave after wave of precise shots of their kinetic weapons, followed with missiles and torpedoes. Noticing that the Acruani Hive Queens were about to fire their lasers, the Invader superbases also opened fire, hitting them with red superlasers, much more powerful than anything that they had used before. The deadly battle for the fate of Line Stacia had begun.

We will have our fighters search for it. We request data sharing with ColDNet to increase our fighting potential and speed of discovery of the Invader Swarm Queen.
Fighters? Feel free to come closer. Meanwhile, the kinetic weapons hit the Acruani shields, most shields seeming to not hold for very long before going down. The few kinetic shots that hit the Acruani's shiny white armors seemed to be far less effective than they could have been, at most making ships in the outer areas of the formation go deeper into it. Not all too strangely the torpedoes and missiles were shot down by the Acruani lasers as well as some xenomorphic fighters. Not strangely as they clearly were focusing just on that.
The red superlasers and the Acruani lasers met, the Acruani lasers slowly seemed to be losing that battle... but then, they suddenly went from blue to purple, even if just for a moment before going off. At the same time, the several Acruani ships in the various layers of the formation began getting in between the lasers and the Hive Queens. Most shields would hold for long enough for yet another ship to get on the way. After all, Acruani formations were anything but static, the ships around the Hive Queens never stopped, only slowed down and changed distance from the core of the formations.
The attempt for a quick, powerful attack at the beginning of the fight had failed, however it did have one of the planed side-effects. It showed the Acruani at least a good number of Invader superbases, on which the Hive Queens all locked, clearly already loading for a round two, this time, at full power considering how they didn't fire immediately.
Meanwhile, the Acruani fighters split into two groups a smaller one with a considerable amount of heavy fighters and still several light fighters, and another group fully composed of light fighters. The first group met the xenomorphic fighters as they neared the formation, but quite obviously were allowing them to get closer to the capital ships. The second group seemed to put all their power on engines and shields. The later which wasn't very strong, but the first, made them some of the quick, although not as fast, fighters on Acruani records, at least when putting most of their powers on the engines. Those fighters were left in charge of the hunt.

Koloniale Verteidigungslinie Stacia Flottengruppen Rhein, Niesse, und Silesien The Colonial Defense Line Stacia Fleet Groups Rhine, Niesse, Silesia
Permission given. Data sharing with the Colonial Defense Network Allowed. Temporary permissions to access requested data in the ColDNet given to the Acruani forces in Line Stacia. Cooperation with the AI Systems of Fleet Groups Rhine, Neisse and Silesia allowed. The Invader ships continued their fire, changing their ammunition. Highly explosive projectiles, energetic projectiles, smart projectiles, the Invaders were seemingly fairly good at using the technology they had stolen during the war, synchonizing their fire in order to get the more damage, focusing on a target once, trying to overwhelm the Acruani with pure firepower. The superbases though continued their laserfire, taking the Acruani ships one by one. The Invaders weren't hurrying in their own usual matter. Why should they? If the Colonial and the Acruani failed to find their Swarm Queen, this was going to turn into a battle of attrition. And if there was one thing nobody could hope to win against the Invaders, it was a battle of attrition, as the Invaders, just as usual, had their enormous pool of reinforcements to draw from the destroyed and damaged enemies. Seeing the tactic of the Acruani, the Invaders immediately followed it with a similar on their own. The heavier xenomoprhic fighters, and the resurrected heavy Colonial Wyverns continued their attack, fighting the first Acruani group, but refusing to leave the protective cover of the gigantic flakfield formed by the superbases. The other group, made out of lighter fighters, was blocking the way inside the Invader formation... making it a stop for everyone who would have wanted to search for the Queen.
A message was soon sent from the Colonial Military Ship Frühling, the flagship of Line Stacia, to whoever ship played the role of a flagship in the Acruani forces. The message, an usual holographic Colonial message, was showing off the seemingly current commander of the Colonial forces, a blue eyed woman with a long, blonde hair, wearing a Kriegsflotte dark blue with red uniform, with the ranks of Kommodore, and the Kriegskreuz Erste Klass( War Cross First Class), the highest possible Colonial military decoration. To the Acruani forces, I am Commodore Irisdina Bernhard, and I have taken command of all Colonial forces in Line Stacia, by direct orders from the Hegemon of the Colonies. In the interest of us winning this battle, I would like to request your fighter forces to be subordinated to our fighter squadrons, so that we can perform a successful queen hunt.

The Acruani shared data from their 12 formations with the ColDNet. On the main targeting and scanning systems of the ships, there were targets the Acruani were planning to aim at and even the planned trajectories of their formations. And more importantly, predicted movement of Invader ships.
The change in ammunition was met with the rapid fire of lasers shooting down the projectiles that showed to be the most dangerous and mostly easily targettable, making the Acruani focus mostly on the highly explosive and energetic projectiles. While the damage of the smart projectiles did make shields flicker, they hardly got any chance to damage any ship deeper in the formation as the gravity changes as well as lasers destroyed them before causing damage deeper into the formation. Meanwhile the outer ones swapped locations with the ones deeper in the formation as they attempted to keep the ships in best shape outside, at least, the ones that survived the focused assaults from the Invaders, something that didn't happen all to often as the ships circulated around the whole formation.
The message arrived at the Acruani, though they didn't have something as a proper flagship for the whole operation as each formation had their 'core'. Even then a singular individual answered, the answer coming from the center of the closest formation. A hologram of a relatively old man with gray hair and brown eyes, somewhere along his fifties wore a pure white uniform, very similar to the Colonials, the uniform was rankless, lacking decorations or any kind of medal. It even lacked something to identify which nation it was from.
Commodore Bernhard, I am Overseer Alistar Hashtan, responsible for the Acruani formations in this area. The Acruani fighters have been subordinated to your forces. They will be waiting for orders. We request support in clearing the way for them. Our targets should already be on your systems.
The Acruani fighters, both light and heavy, were both mainly focused on having high speeds and considerable attack powers. The most basic difference between the two however were the small scale gravity generators of the heavy fighters which tended to facilitate fighting against enemies with projectiles, specially in group combat.
The Acruani formations in general, however, seemed to be very focused on defense. While less than half of the lasers coming from the ships was actually shooting at enemy ships, they also seemed to be focusing on the superbases. As in, the several thousands of ships focusing in the nearest superbase. While there was a number of Acruani ships damage, the rate they were being destroyed remained rather low, not that their damage output could be considered great. Not all too strangely, their formation kept fresh ships on its outer edge at all times, maintaining their fire-power even with their loses and damage taken. The Hive Queen themselves, seemed at all times having a ship, another or twenty in front of them protecting them, for now, at least.

"JRSF Yokoyama, coming out of warp."
Third ship of the Indomitable-Class Juggernauts, the JRSF Yokoyama was profiled for offense, with the weapons assigned a way that it took four Cybergeniuses to control the weapon system. Fleet Admiral Kashima Kongou, reinstated to her position commanding a third of the Jupiterran Star Fleet, warped a thousand kilometers from the battle. Behind the Yokoyama, 7,000 ships came into view, each the size of at least a destroyer-type starship.
"Colonial and Acruani Forces, this is the Jupiterran-Relikan Star Fleet. Welcome to the Milky Way, we are here to provide assistance."
The new Hurricane starfighters, an upgrade of the still modern Typhoon, soared from the hangar bays as tens of thousands were deployed, each carrying nearly twice the armament of the Typhoon. These starfighters were created for a specific purpose - Replace all warships from the corvettes to the destroyers. This would be their debut battle.
Armed with two 6x6 missile launchers, the Hurricanes could be mistaken for 'missile boats', as the Javelin launchers stuck out of the fuselage of the starfighter. However, the Hurricanes also come with an awesome array of Particle Cannons, Gauss Cannons, Laser and Plasma weapons as well. Meant to engage all sorts of enemy ships and starbases, the Hurricane would be the next generation of Quick Reaction Forces for Jupiterra.
The JRSF Yokoyama pulled ahead, 60 kilometers of Jupiterran pride, facing the center of the Invader Fleet. Fleet Admiral Kashima Kongou drew her sword, before thrusting it into a slot in the terminal in front of her.
"Warp Engine tests complete! Shield test complete! Engage Weapon Systems and Shield Matrix!"
The Yokoyama shuddered a little, as it's cannons aimed forward at the Invader Fleet. Already, Javelin missiles were streaking towards the enemy Basestars and Superbases when the Yokoyama discharged a myriad of white, red, blue and green lasers at the formation, burning their shields and overloading reactors. But they did not stop there, the lasers kept their continuous line, as the Invader superbase lost their shields. A split second later, dozens of Javelin missiles struck the superbase, the Shatterer warheads breaking the huge ship apart. If the Shatterers were designed to destroy a 100km starbase, usage against starships would be classified as 'Overkill'.
"Calculations are correct. Three seconds of Full Burst generates enough energy to take down a Superbase's shields. Repeat calculation testing for the next base. Also, spool up the Warp Engines and Anti-Matter Shields."

Despite the excellent Acruani defense, the Invaders continued their fire, adapting, learning. Lasers might have been indeed a good defense, but they're not infallible, especially as the Invaders continued their fire their own lasers. Where a projectile was useless, a laser was fired. The combination of their laser resisting shields, and anti-projectile defense batteries was indeed extremely powerful, but by adapting the offensive measures, it could eventually be broken, exactly what the Invaders were aiming for.
Unfortunately for the Invaders, the arrival of the Star Fleet forces took them by surprise, forcing them to reconsider their plans. Stopping their offensive actions, the Invader forces regrouped, giving the exhausted Colonial forces a much needed pause. The Acruani and the Star Fleet had just entered combat, but the Fleet Groups Rhine, Niesse, and Silesia had been fighting for more than a month, continuously. Without pause, with only limited reinforcements. The only other line that managed to resist for a longer amount of time was Line Gloria, which had been under the command of Admiral Alexander Werther. While fighting an attrition war against the Invaders, the only nation that could have had resisted for a similar amount of time would be the Keltaken Empire. The other nations... let's just say that it wouldn't end up well from them. Despite the losses, the Colonies managed to fight exemplary. In the entire Kriegsflotte, there were only four commanders that would have managed to do something like that. And now, through Unternehmen Jericho, two of them were here to fight. It was similar to a type of an all or nothing situation. If the Invaders could be stopped here, precious time could be bought for everyone. But if the Allied forces would lose...
The Invaders regrouped, adopting a new formation, clearly focused on defense, forming numerous concentric circles, or spheres, since the battleground was tri-dimensional, so that when the enemy ships attacked, in each possible place, an enemy ship would have to face multiple Invader bases. The more tight formation also favored the flak defense fields of the Invaders, combining them with the usual shields. The new formation also seemed to protect the superbases, shielding them with normal bases and other lower ships, the ships continuously changing in case of damage, the formation taking the damaged ships inside for repairs, while keeping the undamaged ships outside, on the edges of the formation. The Invader ships which had been damaged or destroyed, in the cases in which parts of them still existed, were repaired with the same strange Invader xenomatter, since even if they were maybe a little weaker than the enemy ships, being mere modified copies and enemy resurrected ships, the Invader ships were able to repair themselves extremely fast, a characteristic of the forces of the Order of Eris. Even the Invader fighters entered defensive formation, protecting the larger formations. The Invaders had absolutely no reason to hurry, after all. Attrition battles were the battles they were the best at winning.
C.M.S. Frühling
It's a pleasure to meet you, Overseer Alistar Hashtan. Under my command, the Colonial forces will reorganize, and in cooperation with all other Allied forces in the sector, we'll clear way for the fighters, which by using the analysis of the enemy formation our AI and your forces are working on right now, will find the enemy Swarm Queen and mark it. Phase Two of Unternehmen Jericho begins right now., the blonde haired woman said.
The Colonial forces started to reorganize, moving into a more offensive formation, the weaker ships centered around the battlestars, the various fighter formations, from the heavy Wyvern fighters, to the medium Adler fighters, the light Kolibri fighters, and the versatile Cobra drones, ready to jump in at the occasion and enter the enemy formation after their way had been cleared. Their objective, to find the enemy Swarm Queen, destroy its cloaking, and end this battle, in cooperation with the other fighters.
C.M.S. Herbst
While the forces led by the C.M.S. Frühling regrouped, the other part of the Colonial forces, more specifically, Fleet Group Rhine, regrouped around the Colonial Military Ship "Autumn". While the other Colonial and Allied forces had to regroup and attack together, the forces of the Herbst had one clear objective. Attack, and attract the attention of the Invaders away from where the main forces where. A rather suicidal mission, to say the truth.
In the last century or so of Colonial history, there had been a name usually heard around the Colonial military, the name of many Colonial officers. Bernhard, to be more specifically. And especially in the last few years, there had been three really good members of the Bernhard family fighting in the Kriegsflotte. Erich Bernhard, hero of the Colonies during the Second Intergalactic War, and during the Civil War. Irisdina Bernhard, Commodore of the Kriegsflotte, the one who stopped the Invaders at Line Rose before her flagship was destroyed, and she barely escaped alive, hero of the Third Secession War. And while the first one was dead, the third one was luckily also here. Because if there was one pair of persons the Hegemon would have given the order to perform Unternehemen Jericho, those where Commodore Irisdina Bernhard, and her younger brother, Kommodore Albert Bernhard.
Since Commodore Irisdina Bernhard was already taking care of the Acruani, and the preparation for Phase Two of Unternehmen Jericho, it fell into her younger brother's reponsability to contact the Jupiterrans and inform them of the Colonial plans.
A message, perfectly similar to the one send by Irisidina, a holographic message, was sent to the JRSF Yokoyama, just that this message featured what looked like a rather annoyed young man, seeming to be around the age of another fairly well known Colonial officer. The young man had a rather messy blonde hair, and blue eyes, matching his rather wrinkled dark blue uniform. As he was speaking, the Colonial was holding a compress over his forehead to stop the bleeding, after having presumably hit himself or something.
"To the commander of the Jupiterran-Relikan Forces, I am Commodore Albert Bernhard, currently second in command of the Colonial Defense Line Stacia. Thank you very much for coming, you have arrived just in time. Please work together with us and the Acruani, we have to find and eliminate the enemy Swarm Queen before it's too late. It would be really helpful if your fighters will work together with ours to identifiy the exact location of the Queen, Phase Two of our operation is about to start soon. If we want to win, we have to eliminate the Queen."

The Invaders regrouped, exactly as how Fleet Admiral Kongou hoped they would. A perfect spherical defence means near-total cover, but their compact formations allow the JRSF Yokoyama to trial the Relikan's newest invention.
"Fighters, vector off to the Colonial Lines. Battleships line up ahead of the formation, Battlecruisers right below them. All units, focus fire on the enemies above and below your planar angles." Confirming her coordinates, Kongou saw the spot in the Invader Sphere, a perfect opening.
"Warp Engines! In three, two, Antimatter Shields, On!"
The timing was perfect, as the Yokoyama was propelled forward at near Warp Speed, it's size and bulk tearing through Invader ships... No... The Antimatter Shields ripped the smaller ships apart as the juggernaut plowed through the wrecked hulls of larger superbases. A mere second later, the Yokoyama has punched a void through 100km of Invader ships, as the Antimatter Shield gave way to conventional shields.
Before the Yokoyama unleashed it's fury. All around the ship, cannons, lasers, missiles streaked by the thousands. The Star Fleet closed in as well, forcing the Invaders to focus on either the Yokoyama, or the advancing warships.

Acruani defense certainly was not perfect, but being hit by lasers certainly didn't seem to have a very strong effect. Acruani shields did clearly go down, but there always seemed to be another shield ready to take its place just in time. Even the times where lasers did hit the shiny white armors, the damage didn't seem to be too grave. It certainly could be broken, but 'soon' is a very flexible unit of time.
It is a mistake to think that Acruani formations were made for wars of attrition. While such formations did give the Acruani much durability, their main use was to protect the Hive Queens, or rather, give the Hyperion cannons on the Hive Queens time to load and fire. The incoming allies certainly did give the lasers time to properly charge, and soon enough they would fire.
Their soon however was not neatly timed with the Invader change of formation (to a very, very familiar formation the Acruani used themselves). It wasn't even neatly timed with Herbst's offensive. But when Yokohama's punched a hole into the formation, the tens of thousands Hyperion lasers fired from the center of the Acruani formations, both the ones 'flanking' the Invader formation as well as the ones in the 'front' with the Colonials.
Each blue beam of light punched though a number of shields and ships, likely the one newly remade considering their relative ease, with small groups of them focusing on individual Superbases. According to the Acruani calculations, a number of them should succeed punching through the formation, and get to the Superbases shield. Those able to do so and break the shields, would momentarily flicker before changing to a bright violet color. Such color would only intensify as the lasers would attempt to cut through the Invader Superbases.
It is a pleasure to meet you as well. Once its location is marked, we will fire at the Swarm Queen.
The Acruani fighters both the highly maneuverable light fighters and the gravity distorting heavy fighters were ready to assist the Colonials. Hopefully the combination of those characteristics would prove useful in their fight alongside the Colonials.

Surprised by the unexpected move of the Jupiterran ship, the Invader formation almost broke under the harsh attacks of the Acruani on one side, and of the three Colonial Fleet Groups in the other part. Led by the C.M.S Herbst and the C.M.S. Frühling, the Colonials continued their attack, until the perfect moment was achieved. The Invaders seemed to be puzzled, and their formation was broken in multiple places. This was it. The start of the Queen hunt.
Synchronized by the Colonial Defense Network, all the Colonial and Acruani computers and AI started to analyze the Invader formation in the same time. There was a pattern. There was always a pattern... and it didn't take long for the massive combined power of so many computers to find it. Now, it was the job of the fighters. Squadrons after squadrons of Colonial, Jupiterran and Acruani fighters entered the Invader formation through the places where it had been broken. With the heavy fighters in the front, the squadrons adopted their usual long and thin formations, the so called "Lanze" formations. Spreading into multiple formations, each of the fighters were sent to a different possible location...
The fighters advanced, through the AA fire, through the enemy ships. This is where the true quality of the Colonial pilots was being seen. Only the best of the best dared to take part in the Queen hunts. Due to the low survival rate of course... but it was a necessary sacrifice. And then, one of the fighters reached and fired its decloaking weapons at one of the locations... and it hit something. Minutes later, every last fighter in the area fired its torpedoes at the area... breaking the cloak.
Left without its cloaking mechanism, a gargantuan ship appeared somewhere in the middle of the enemy formation. It was truly huge... almost as large as a small planet. Waken up from its slumber, it activated its Makers, their ever present radiation starting to disrupt the allied forces, while the Swarm Queen moved forward to attack, opening fire with its millions of batteries, protected by its formation..

Finally detecting the ship facilitated its eventual destruction, surely. The number of Acruani fighters destroyed in the Queen Hunt was a truthfully sad number to look at, though their absence didn't seem to hinder Acruani defense in face of the batteries aimed at the Acruani spheres. The radiation, not too strangely, seemed to change the color of the surface of Acruani ships to a shiny gray before it became its previous shiny white. If there was one thing Acruani were better prepared against than lasers, it was radiation. Not that the radiation didn't disrupt most of their radars, but at least the formations could still piece together information well enough to not be affected too badly by such disruption.
While the sides of the spheres receiving the initial part of the damage clearly caved in, it didn't take long for the spheres to return to their usual shape, albeit slightly smaller. While initially most of the Acruani ships destroyed exploded into nothingness (something to do with antimatter inside the ships), over time they seemed to break appear spectacularly evenly, before another explosion in the middle of the ship scattered the debris. Slowly the debris left floating through the outer areas of the spheres, clearly being used to shield the still working ships from incoming strikes.
The Acruani ships however, seemed to maintain their rather defensive formations after their last laser show, either recharging or waiting for further movements from the Invaders, the Colonials, or the Jupiterran-Relikan Star Fleet.

Many Hurricane starfighters were lost in the hunt for the Swarm Queen, with about 20% of the Fleet's fighters lost in the attack. If the Hurricanes lacked armour, the causualty rate would have been much higher. Nonetheless, the remaining fighters lined up their sights, releasing their Javelin missiles, a combination of Shatterer and Zuroki warheads, meant to rip apart both living and solid matter. Breaking off, the Hurricanes switched to their combined weaponry of lasers, kinetics and plasma, blasting their way out as they targeted several enemy ships with torpedoes and swarm attacks, before returning back to the Star Fleet.
Back in the Yokoyama, all power has been directed to the shields as the Star Fleet closed in, all weapons blazing at the Invader Fleet. Where the Yokoyama was, a huge swath of Invader ships has been cleared by the Juggernaut's awesome firepower. With the arrival of the Swarm Queen, the capital ships began to focus their fire on the Invader ships, while the destroyers and cruisers fired their weapons at the Swarm Queen.

Except from its simply gargantuan size, the Swarm Queen was overall fairly similar to the other Invader bases, but also different from many points of view. It's main bodies, three at number, had the forms of a six pointed star, with the three offset hulls having the same longer parts/edges as in the rest of the star bases. The three hulls were attacked at their center by a large pylon like structure, the center of the ship, allowing the hulls to rotate in tandem around it, enabling the Queen to enter multiple configurations. Just like the other Invader ships, the Queen was made out of the same dead white metal, almost stained and covered in some of the parts by the strange black xenomorphic matter, giving it a.. sick and dead look. Just like the other Invader ships, it had a great focus on the offensive power, with a large part of the hulls being modular, filled with battery modules, from large main batteries to secondary defense batteries, rocket and torpedo launchers, following a pattern overall similar to that of the Colonial ships, although, due to the ability to rotate of its hulls, the ship was more versatile than the battlestars. The central hull body hosted the many hangars which were able to probably create and launch the xenomorphic fighters which started to simply pour out of it. And the Queen was at least a few hundred times larger than an usual base, of the size of a small planet. A true enemy to be feared.
As the Swarm Queen started to move, firstly opened fire on the Acruani ships. The Acruani formation might have worked really well against normal Invader ships. But this.... as it opened fire, hell was unleashed on the Acruani ships. Everything was thrown at them, the main batteries, the rockets, the torpedoes... this wasn't an attempt to keep them back. It was a clear attempt to slaughter them. The Colonial battlestars that were in front of the Acruani formation got slaughtered extremely quickly, exploding in golden flames in the dead space. And then, the Acruani followed. And one of the three hulls of the ships turned around, enabling the Swarm Queen to also open fire against the Jupiterran ships, and against the main Colonial force, which managed to keep its ground with huge losses. And then, everything stopped for a few moments. Unfortunately for the Invaders, it was impossible to hold off such a display of power continuously, even with the near unlimited power of the Markers. But that was the chance the Colonials were waiting for.
Suddenly, two ships jumped, one near the formation of the Jupiterrans, and the other one near the formation of the Acruani. Absolutely huge ships, at least by human and Acruani standards, although they were much smaller than the Swarm Queen. Their preliminary IFF's showed only codes. H.K.1 and H.K.2.
Not comparing them with the Swarm Queen, both ships were absolutely huge, measuring a little more than 100 kilometers in length. Both were almost alike, clearly showing that they were part of the same class. For one, they were clearly battlestars. They spotted the same type of construction the Colonial battlestars were well known for. The ships, due to their size, were extremely well armed, both offensively and defensively. They spotted a huge number of strong main batteries, both kinetic and laser based. Torpedo and rocket launchers. Secondary Defense Batteries. Everything set up in a modular way, so that no matter what point it was, the ships had no blind point. Their defensive measures were also clearly the best of the bets, with the strong Klein Fields already visible, their reinforced armors ready to take on any threat, and the flak fields ready to stop anything that would come through. It was almost as if one would have taken the already huge Bismarck and Tirptiz and upgraded them. But, there was a major change.
Just as usual for a Colonial battlestar, the main modular hull was complimented by the two hangar decks, adding the huge carrier capability in a battleship, creating a battlestar. But these time, around the middle of each both of the hangar hulls, there was something else. Two large circular structures, being part of the main hull, on the sides, with thousands of batteries, which were able to concentrate their fire in one point. One ray. But they weren't usual cannons... they were ion cannons. Huge as hell ion cannons. And from their positions, the two huge ships were aiming one of their structures each at the Swarm Queen. And they both fired.
The thousands of ion cannons in the structure fired at the same time, combining their white beams into a larger one, moving forward with an unstoppable force. The two huger beams fired by the two ships, each from the opposite side of the Invader formation, cut through the Invader ships as a hot knife would cut butter, with no mercy. One could resist ion cannons. But such a huge cannon was way beyond what any of the Invaders anticipated. Damaged by the ion beams, thousands of bases simply turned off, their electric systems fried up. But the true objective was what was behind all those Invader ships... the Swarm Queen.
The two white beams hit the Swarm Queen right in the middle, in the pylon. in the center, from both sides, frying up the ship's central systems, turning off its shields, putting its systems into disarray. The Swarm Queen, damaged, stopped its attacks, adrift..... and all across the Invader formation, ships simply started to turn off or destruct themselves, opening the path for the Allies to fire at the damaged Swarm Queen. Their walls had fallen, just like Jericho...
And then, the huge ships finally transmitted their IFF's. Colonial Military Ship Friedrich der Große, Colonial Military Ship Karl der Große. H-Klasse Super Heavy Battlestars of the Colonial Kriegsflotte.
