"Well, the Colonies believe in friendship between the races. Right now, your race has experienced losses, and needs help. Giving you a small empty system to settle is the least we can do in order to help, in complete accordance with the Articles of Colonization and all of our ideals.", the Colonial Captain said. "We're glad to know that the supplies have been distributed without many problems. It was the best we could gather in such a short time. Now, if possible, I would like to return to my ship. You could please inform your people of what is going to happen, and if you accept our offer to settle in a system like that, we're going to escort you to that system, whenever you are ready."

"Understood, Captain. You may return to your ship, and I will inform the fleet of where we are going in the meantime. I'll also be checking on Captain Duvall, hopefully she has recovered enough that her condition is no longer dire."
And with that, he let the Colonials leave, an ensign escorting them through the ship, as he turned his attention to the comm network to alert the fleet to their soon-to-be new home.

After returning to their ship, the Colonials started the preparations, and a few hours later, when everything was finished, the Wakuran Fleet was ready to jump away, escorted by the CMS Atlantis and various other ships of both the Colonial War Fleet and the Colonial Civilian Fleet. The system in talk wasn't that far away, but a small military escort was necessary, unfortunately.
Eventually, the small Colonial-Wakruan fleet jumped into a small system that was around 300 light years away from their former position. The system had three planets, but the focus of this mission, and where they had jumped, was its second planet, a large planet that was able to sustain life on its own. The landmass was divided into three continents. In the West, the largest one, in the south of the planet's Equator, was seemingly mostly covered by jungle. In the East, a long one, spanning from the far north to exactly until the Equator, with a mostly temperate climate. The smallest, more of an island continent, was in the central-northern hemisphere of the planet, partially covered by a desert. The rest of the planet was practically covered in many small islands, possibly the result of a larger continent being destroyed in the past.
"This is RT-54661. It was discovered a few decades ago, and terraformed by the Colonial Terraforming Division. Unfortunately, the Colonists sent to it never managed to reach it because of the Intergalactic Wars, and then it was temporarily used as a mining base, before it was completely abandoned. It's more than able to sustain life, and holds many natural resources, and we think that it would fit the refugees of the Wakuran fleet."

Scanning the planet as they arrived at it, the Wakurans were quiet for a few moments as they discussed amongst themselves whether the planet was suited to them or not. They eventually decided that it was a good planet, and within a few minutes the mass of ships began descending on the planet, eager to land their ships on solid, safe ground so they could finally rest and begin sorting themselves out. There was a noticeable split between the ships as they decided to all land down in different parts of the planet, with the intention of setting up as many colony points as they could, ready for rapid expansion into proper colonies and settlements.
As the ships were landing, the Crusade sent a message to the Colonials, thanking them for their efforts. Surprisingly, it was Captain Duvall speaking, apparently she had found her way back to the bridge during the trip, and sounded somewhat better after her very short rest:
"This is Captain Duvall speaking. On behalf of all the Wakurans here, I thank you for all that you've done. I hope that you can continue supporting us and our developments until we have rebuilt, and are able to support you in kind. Expect a Fleet Report soon, and a Military Report after that. Captain Duvall out."
Already, colonisation was going fairly well, as pathfinder teams were sent out to scour the terrain, and refugees were able to begin stepping out of their ships, meeting up with one another. Grief was certainly present, though amongst the crowds, several separated Wakurans found themselves reunited, the morale in the area raising every time one such reunion occurred. It was good to see at least some of them hadn't lost everything in the war.

"The Colonies are going to continue to support you and your developments, don't worry. For now, the War Fleet will maintain the security of the system, and we're going to let the civilian Colonial organizations to take care of supplies, organization, and whatever else your people may need for now in order to recover. Atlantis out."
The Atlantis and the other Colonial Military Ships in the system started to organize a perimeter around it, placing drones and other military equipment in order to ensure its security. Meanwhile, civilian ships started to jump in the planet's atmosphere, starting to bring in supplies for the refugees and materials that would better allow them to settle in on their new planet. Even if their resettling efforts were far from over, the Wakuran people were safe for now.

With the assistance of the Colonials, simple settlements were beginning to be constructed, with generators & farms providing power and nutrition to the populace whilst ships and vehicles were sent out to gather water and anything that could fuel their generators. Housing was beginning to be constructed, though all of the larger ships and many smaller vessels were kept grounded, serving as temporary housing until enough houses could be built. Ships began flying between villages, dropping off and collecting deliveries and scouting the terrain for anything else of interest. On board the Crusade, Captain Duvall and Vice-Captain Angau were organizing the few military ships and units that they had available, sending out ensigns from some of their ships to gather willing recruits to bolster the crews of these ships to their minimum, to relative success. A report was sent to the Colonials, listing their military ships by name, their class and their current status. In total, they had the following available: 1 Heavy Battleship, The Crusade, Needing Crew and Repairs 17 Heavy Battleships, 9 Combat Ready, 8 Requiring Crew and Repairs 25 Heavy Destroyers, 4 Combat Ready, 21 Needing Crew and Repairs 34 Light Destroyers, 30 Combat Ready, 4 Needing Crew and Repairs 6 Support Cruisers, 2 Combat Ready, 4 Needing Crew and Repairs 7 Siege Cruisers, 4 Combat Ready, 3 Needing Crew and Repairs 11 Combat Cruisers, 9 Combat Ready, 2 Needing Crew and Repairs 4 Combat Corvettes, 1 Combat Ready, 3 Needing Crew and Repairs 2 Command Corvettes, 2 Combat Ready, 0 Needing Crew and Repairs 63 Light Combat Frigates, 44 Combat Ready, 19 Needing Crew and Repairs 6 Scout Frigates, 5 Combat Ready, 1 Needing Crew and Repairs 53 Troop Transport Shuttles, 45 Combat Ready, 8 Needing Repairs

After the C.M.S. Atlantis received the report of the Wakuran military, it was forwarded to the Oberkommando der Kriegsflotte(High Command of the War Fleet) and to the Zentraloberkommando(Central High Command). After some time, in which the top brass of the Colonial Armed Forces carefully considered all possibilities, a message was sent back to the Wakurans.
"The Colonial Armed Forces, the Colonial People's Army, and all their affiliated civilian institutions will help the Wakuran Forces to repair and resupply their forces, and of course, the help and supplies to the Wakuran civilians that are currently trying to settle on the planet will continue. Right now, the Colonial Armed Forces are planning an offensive in the sector where the Wakuran homeworld is located, but the gathering of forces from the Auxiliary Fleets will take a while, since we can't weaken the front against the Invaders. Once the offensive actually starts, the Wakuran forces could join the Flottengruppe und Heerengruppe( Fleet and Army Group) that will take part in that offensive."

A reply was quickly sent back to the Colonials by Captain Duvall:
"Good to hear, we will also need some time to get as many of our ships combat ready as we can. Though we can't tarry for too long, those evil aliens are likely to be following our trail already. They are merciless and overwhelming if they catch us by surprise."
Alongside this message, another report was sent that documented a rough idea of the Xir's appearance and behaviour, created from data gathered from the populace who had witnessed the Xir.
