"I seek Wisdom... I seek answers..." Haruna said as she approached the figure. The place is huge, enormous shelves of books, of information and history... Haruna has memorized the entirety of the Jupiterran Archives within a week, but even she felt intimidated by the amount of information present. She did not even know where to start.
"I seek the cure... to the curse... the poisons that the Invaders... the Abyssals have inflicted upon us..." Haruna said as she called for Azarael, feeling a wave of weakness at the same time. Appearing next to her, the Angel held on to Haruna as she sensed a strong disturbance in her consciousness. Ripping her skirt and leggings, Haruna could see that her thigh has blackened. Not to the point as Alexander's chest due to Pink's blood, but it was still... there.
"I seek the cure to aid the Colonials, to aid Jupiterra... to aid Humanity and the rest of the Galaxy against this threat."

The A.I. looked at Haruna and her wound carefully, remaining silent for a few good moments before she finally started to speak, as calm as ever, despite the situation. Strangely though, she seemed to ignore Haruna, speaking to the angel instead. "Hello Azarael. Long time no see. Should I assume that you are once again needed to fight? Have the Invaders returned?", the old A.I. asked. The blue haired Angel of Wisdom sighed, as he was trying to help Haruna remain up. "Yes.. you could say that. A lot happened. But.. please listen to my wielder. She really needs that cure." Possibly just to confirm Azarael's words, the dark mark started to expand at an alarming and visible rate, attracted towards her heart, going up. In the same time, Haruna felt an incredible pain, similar to what Alexander had been feeling for quite a while. The corruption was coming nearer and nearer to her heart. Most probably, there was something going on back in the command center. Something really bad.
Hearing what Azarael had said, the green eyed artificial intelligence started to type something at the old computer, and something materialized in her right hand. It looked like a really, really old book, being probably the mental materialization of the archive record that contained the cure. It seemed to be written in Galactic Standard, with the words "The Human Colonial Science Division- Complete Report of the Dark Poison used by the Enemy" on it. The A.I. showed Haruna the book in her hand so that the Jupiterran girl could read its title. That was probably it. The record that contained it. The cure. The cure they needed to save themselves.
"This is what you are probably looking for. Judging by how the wound is advancing, I don't think that you have much time left. Unfortunately, it seems that the ship I was on somehow ended up in the middle of an anomaly.. my records of what happened that day have disappeared though, so I don't know how exactly did this happen. Still, you're now closer to the other side.. where the souls of the Invaders are. The Abyss.. that's why the corruption is spreading like that.", the white haired AI explained. "I'm willing to give this to you, but for a price, of course. Nothing is free. How despaired are you? How much do you want this cure? What price would you be willing to pay for it?"

Haruna was literally leaning on Azarael, as the wound stretched up to her heart. Her breathing was strained, heavy, she knew that she did not have much time. Something bad was happening outside, and she could only hope that she'll make it back to have the cure made.
As the Archive asked her the question of sacrifice, a thought flashed past her mind, a dark haired boy in a dark blue Colonial uniform. She was weeping, and suddenly, his face was near hers...
A tear rolled down Haruna's cheek as she looked at the Archive. "Sacrifice... price..." She whispered. The thought flashed past her mind again, and she nearly cried out in despair as she thought of a possible sacrifice.
"If I have to sacrifice something to save... to save someone, to save my people, to fight against the Invaders..." Haruna said, clenching a fist over her heart. The pain did not come from the corruption. Instead, it came from the thought of what she was about to say.
"Love... I will sacrifice this emotion for the cure... without it, Haruna will still serve the Star Fleet and Humanity to the best of her abilities... Azarael... will you witness this sacrifice... tell it to Alexander... that I am sorry, that this... this cure is the proof of my love for him?"

Hearing Haruna's words, even Azarael seemed shocked. Going to such heights for the cure.. she really seemed ready to sacrifice anything. Of course, the A.I. didn't seemed to be impressed at all. It didn't matter for her. After all, if the girl was ready to pay something like that for the cure, she was ready to accept that price. Before the green eyed Archivist was able to say anything though, Azarael started to speak.
"No Haruna, you can't do this..", the blue haired angel said, looking at her, before he looked back at the archivist. "You can't ask something like that from her.. I'm sure that there is something else that might satisfy you.". After that, Azarael looked once again at Haruna. She was breathing heavily, and it was clear that the corruption was getting closer and closer to heart. She probably didn't have much time left... he probably had to do it, even if it meant breaking the very reason for why this specific A.I. was sent on this ship, away from civilization. "We can take you back, I'm sure that you're sick of staying alone in a ship like this.. the main human nation right now, the Federated Colonies, they have Kobol and Alice. You would be able to see them again."
For the first time ever since the discussion started, the Archivist really seemed interested. She remained quiet for a few moments, thinking about the offer. "You wouldn't lie... would you, Angel of Wisdom? In that case, I shall accept that offer. I'm going to give you the cure, if you are going to take me out of here." The book that was the materialization of the archive record disappeared and appeared in Azarael's hand. The golden eyed angel started to read it, while the white haired archivist continued to speak. "The answer to the cure is simple. There is only one thing in the entire universe that's corrupted enough to stop this corrupted poison. The blood of one of the beings you know as High Invaders." Reading the record, Azarael nodded. The same thing was written there. "I think that you have a perfect occasion to get your hands on some blood.. but you'll have to hurry."
Turning around the computer monitor so that Haruna and Azarael could see it, the archivist turned it on, only to show something that was most probably happening in the command center in real time. Alexander, the girl Haruna had called "Pink", another girl that looked exactly like "Pink", Angelo and two Colonial soldiers were desperately fighting Mu, Lambda, another unknown High Invader girl, and an entire horde of normal Invaders, obviously trying to protect Haruna's unconscious body. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like the fight was going well for the Colonials and the mysterious pink haired girls.
"Though, considering your wielder's state... it will be hard. What are you going to do? Shimazaki Haruna and Azarael?"

Haruna closed her eyes as she controlled her breathing. Seeing Pink, Alexander, Angelo and the others battling, she slowly got up, holding on to Azarael.
Thank you Azarael... For stepping in.... She sent mentally. Looking at the Archivist, Haruna nodded. A look of steely determination flashed across her face, as she slowly drew the sword once again. Azarael looked at Haruna with sad eyes, knowing what he must do to ensure her survival, and the Humans' victory against the Invaders.
"Lets do it. Lets go save Alexander and the rest of them." Haruna said. Looking at the Archivist, Haruna gave her a low bow.
"I promise, on my word, with all my power, I will bring you back to Alical and Kobol, back to the Federated Colonies."
Nodding, the Archivist waved a hand, just as Haruna felt the vines pierce her hand, Azarael disappearing as he fed on her blood, empowering the both of them...
Haruna gasped as she returned back to her consciousness, her brain functioning at near maximum capacity after the experience in the Archive. Turning, she could see the other battling, Alexander, Angelo and the Pinks fighting in the melee while the Colonial soldiers used their rifles. Alexander was clearly struggling, holding off against Mu when Lamda suddenly bounced off a wall of the Command Center, her greatsword arcing for Alexander's heart. Immediately, Haruna, moving with a grace and speed never felt before, stepped in and pushed Alexander to the ground, covering him with her body as Lamda bounced off the floor, looking visibly annoyed. Haruna looked at Alexander, who was clearly in pain, but looking relieved to see her back. For a moment, time slowed as Haruna gave Alexander a soft kiss on the lips, before she got up, Azarael glowing as she squared off against Lamda and Mu.
Lamda, seeing the exchange of passion between the two humans, gave a shrill unearthly laugh. swinging her greatsword, she began leaping off several surfaces as she gained velocity, before becoming a blur as she leapt around the room. Haruna stood ready, knowing that the decisive moment is soon to come. Mu, seeing the opportunity, came at Haruna with her sword, only to have it parried and countered with Haruna pressing forward with her own assault. Just as Mu broke off, Haruna could see the High Invader smile, before returning Mu a smile of her own.
Stepping to the side, Haruna felt the greatsword swoosh past her left ear, barely an inch away, before sending Azarael in an upward thrust, impaling Lamda right in the chest. Without hesitating, Haruna pulled the sword out, before pinning Lamda on the floor, ignoring the High Invader's expression of shock as Haruna decapitated her. High Invader blood dripped from Lamda's severed head, as Haruna held it over her head, causing everyone to pause for a moment. As she drank some of the blood, Haruna quickly forced some into a prone Alexander, making sure that he swallowed it properly.
Immediately, Haruna felt a light, warm sensation, as her heart seemed to be free of the corruption. Breathing in deeply, Haruna could feel the pain subside to her thigh, to the point where she felt whole, she felt new.
She felt cured.
Hearing someone get up behind her, Haruna took a glance at Alexander as she placed a hand on her shoulder. Nodding in response, the two Ancient Sword wielders, Alexander Werther and Shimazaki Haruna, together with Mosrael and Azarael, got into a stance against Mu and the remaining Invader. Angelo took a step back as he centered himself between the two remaining Marines, nodding to the couple.
"Come on Haruna." Alexander muttered. He felt free, felt fresh, and knew that it was because of Haruna, that they can begin their counterattack now.
"Yes Alexander." Haruna replied, the determination in her voice obvious as she got into her stance. "Lets do this!"

Ever since arriving on the ship, everything seemed to go bad for Alexander. First of all, somehow, Haruna managed to get lost. And if that wasn't bad enough, they managed to get lost too. It didn't take long though for both Alexander and Angelo to realize that there was something.. wrong with this ship. The corridors weren't following any rule. Some of them seemed to.. change as soon as they had left them. Probably, they would have wandered those corridors for ever, lost, if they wouldn't have met a strange pink eyed and pink haired girl. Something seemed to be strange about her.. but the situation was desperate enough for them to take a risk. Following her, they managed to restart the ship's reactors, enough to power up the command center, from where apparently, Haruna was trying to dive in the Old Archive. After successfully doing that, they tried to quickly go to the command center, only to be ambushed by Invaders. With a little help from "Pink" and her blood, they managed to kill them, and they rushed to the command center, even if the pain in Alexander's chest was reaching almost unbearable levels. In the command center though, they were greeted by something even stranger. Yet another girl, looking exactly like Pink, was fighting Mu, trying to defend Haruna's unconscious body. Without thinking for another moment though, they rushed to her aid.
Unfortunately, soon enough, with the arrival of Lambda and another, unknown Invader girl, the battle was turned against the Colonials and the pink haired girls. Alexander especially, was having big difficulties in fighting. The pink haired girls seemed to be holding their ground easy enough, but there was something strange about them.. no, it wasn't the fact that they were only wearing black dresses in this kind of a space, even if right now, the atmosphere of the ship was back. And no, it wasn't the fact that if not for the fact that they.. had too much color, they could have been mistaken for an Invader.. both girls had something that looked like black, old handcuffs around their wrists, seemingly with the chain that once connected them broken. A similar thing, a black, small neckcuff, was something they both had around their necks, once again, with their chains seemingly broken. He just had this feeling, that those things were somehow.. limiting their powers.
Unfortunately for Alexander, he as the pain was becoming more and more stronger, he was almost killed by Lambda, before someone intervened, protecting him... it was Haruna.. Alexander felt so relieved now that she was back.. her kiss even seemed to ease the pain a little. And then, the way she fought.. it was just amazing. In the moment he drank the blood, the black haired boy felt how the pain was disappearing, and how his strength was coming back. They were now ready, to fight back. Or at least, that's what they thought.

Seeing Haruna kill Lambda in such a violent way... even Mu was shocked. However, that shock soon turned to anger. "You're going to pay for this!", the red eyed Invader girl shouted, starting to run towards the humans. Unfortunately for her, her anger was what brought her end. Solely focused on the target of her anger, Haruna, the white haired Invader wasn't careful at the two pink haired girls, who quickly hit her in a succession of close and fast attacks. Mu clearly tried to defend herself, leaving herself be thrown off the stance. And that was the end. "Drink my blood, Mosrael!", saying that, Alexander leaped forward, as the red thorny vines on the sword bit even deeper in his hand, letting the demon take a little bit of control. Moving fast, Alexander parried Mu's pathetic attempt at of a slash, and used his sword to deeply pierce her chest, killing her almost instantly. "You.. demon..", was the only thing Mu managed to say before dying. Now, the only Invader left was the other Invader girl, and Alexander looked at Haruna. They had to do this together. Before they were able to attack though, the Invader girl started to speak.
"I can't allow this to continue anymore.", the Invader girl said in a cold, emotionless voice, just like her expression was right now. The girl had a pale, white skin, and a white, long hair, just like the rest of the Invaders. Her clothes were extremely similar to the rest of the Invader uniforms, but strangely, her contained more black than white. Her light blue eyes were glowing, looking at Haruna and Alexander, but they were.. empty. Emotionless. The strangest thing about her though, was the strange thing that was around her neck, climbing out until on the top of her head, partially restraining her long, white hair. It was black, just as the rest of the uniform, but something was simply.. strange about it. "This is the end.", the girl said, motioning with the black cane that was in her right hand. Suddenly, black chains appeared from the metal floor, connecting themselves to the hand- and neckcuffs of the pink haired girls, dragging them down on the metal floor. Black chains also appeared from the wall, surrounding Angelo, and dragging him to the wall. Chains also appeared from the floor, surrounding and capturing Alexander and Haruna. They were now unable to move, not even a millimeter.. the only thing they could do was to move their eyes and breathe.
Just as suddenly, someone else entered the room. It was a girl, that seemed to be younger as the other girl present in the room, younger than Mu, but probably older than Lambda. She had a long, white hair, but unlike that of the other Invaders, the white had a pale, pinkish tent. Her eyes were also pink, glowing. And she was smiling.. and insane smile. She was wearing a kind of an uniform similar to that of the other Invader girls, skirt and all, but her uniform was far more.. revealing. "My, my, what do we have here, sister? Other Ancient Sword wielders?", she asked. Before her sister was able to respond though, the attention of the pink eyed Invader was attracted by Alexander. She quickly came near him, observing him. "Oh, so you are that guy who helped big brother save me from that facility.. too bad it was in vain. Still, you're interesting..", the girl said, still smiling, but looking at Alexander, her pink eyes filled with lust. That's when though, Alexander realized exactly who they were. "Wait a second you're.. you're.. those girls that broke in the Parliament.. the Hegemon's sisters.. Sigma and.. Omega.." "Bingo! You guessed!", the pink eyed, Sigma said, approaching him. She came near his neck, looking like she wanted to bite it.. before she stopped, refraining herself. Still, she licked his neck, giving him the same look. "You'll have to wait a little.. I'm going to have my fun with you later.. see you later, my dear prince..", Sigma said, before she laughed. "I'm going to take care of that annoying human ship.", she said, looking for a few moments at Haruna, when she was speaking with her sister, Omega. "I won't leave any survivors. Bye!". Saying that, she giggled, before she left the room.
Omega, the blue eyed Invader girl, almost seemed to sigh, before she approached Alexander. Of course, unable to move, there was nothing the black eyed boy could do. "I would like to thank you for saving my sister that day. Too bad we're enemies now..", Omega said, coming near him. Even if she seemed to be much more calmer than her sister, she also clearly had difficulties in refraining her lust for blood... without able to stop herself any further though, she bit Alexander's neck, and started to drink blood, while the black haired boy, clearly in pain, started to scream. And also unable to move, Haruna was watching..

Haruna could not move. Try as she might, her body was pinned to the wall by these chains, and she could not even flick her wrist to sever them. Haruna saw the second High Invader come in and leave after her words, when Omega bit into Alexander's neck, and began to drink. "Alexander... Alexander!!" Haruna screamed as she struggled against her restraints.
Suddenly, an Invader gripped her head, forcing her to look at it. When did it appear, Haruna did not know. So focused was she on Alexander and getting out, that this Abyssal was able to move right to her...
Your brains... your blood... you are in the way of our victory... Caressing her face, the Invader's face suddenly transformed, into a clear and perfect replica, of Alexander Werther. Haruna became confused. Normally, a person would identify this as in illusion, but Haruna was being influenced by the chains, hers specifically. Their essence bringing a trace of the cursed torpedoes with them, they not lashed their influence into the Jupiterran, as they invaded her hypersensitive sub-consciousness, her worst nightmares began to take hold, even though it was all an illusion...
Alexander continued to look at her, even as Haruna stood, shocked, unable to move. Seeing him so close to her, she instintively blushed a deep red as she tried to avoid his gaze, afraid of what might happen should she stare right into his eyes. Alexander brought his hand up, stroking the side of her head before bringing it down onto her shoulder, as Haruna shuddered from his touch. She was shy, unable to respond as she kept her hands to the front. It was the first time he asked her out for a date, and Haruna, dressed in her purple coat and red skirt, with a red scarf around her neck, awaited his move. Alexander seemed to be admiring the girl in front of him, one of the most beautiful ones in the Star Fleet, if not Jupiterra. Haruna again felt heat rush to her face as she felt his hand move.
Slowly but steadily, Alexander placed his other hand around Haruna, seeming to hug her, but his other hand slowly proceeded down to the front of her chest. Gasping as he touched her, Haruna turned to Alexander, and as her eyes widened in shock, she had to stifle a scream as she saw his face. His eyes were empty, expressionless, as his flesh slowly rotted to a pale shade of skeleton white. The hand groped her again, as the one behind her held her in place. Unable to move, Haruna began to scream as Alexander proceeded on, violating the girl as his hands roamed freely. Tears flowing down her cheek, Haruna felt Alexander's hands leave her for a moment, just as they reappeared on her jacket, seemingly ready to rip them apart.
Just as Haruna felt the buttons start to come off, something flashed in between her and Alexander. The Invader staggered back, before the Sword pierced it's heart. Falling back, the dead abyssal no longer held it's influence over Haruna, who was breathing rapidly in panic.
"Do not be afraid! Haruna, you're more than what you are!" Azarael called in the distance. "Haruna! Use your gift! Believe in the myths and legends which transcends science! Believe in me!"
Haruna gritted her teeth as she focused her entire mental strength on her body, on the sword, and on the vines. Slowly, Haruna felt her wrist begin to move, the power of Azarael sinking into her arm, before she let out a scream as she swung Azarael at the chains, severing some of them. Another swing freed her other arm, and a few more had her stumbling onto the floor of the command centre.
"Let him go!!" Haruna screamed as she charged Omega. The High Invader easily dodged her attack, but Haruna was aiming for Alexander's arm. The chain broke, as Haruna's quick movements allowed her to both parry Omega and free Alexander at the same time. Her arm moved with precision and power, her feet and body turning with grace. It was as if an angel has taken over Haruna, as Alexander gathered his senses.
"You shall not touch him!" Haruna screamed. Omega looked on with a smirk, easily parrying her attacks.
"He's mine!" Haruna did it, she technically confessed, to Alexander, as the boy gathered himself. Looking at the Jupiterran in awe, he suddenly saw that she was in deep trouble.
"Haruna! Behind you!" Haruna turned, just in time to doge a chain bursting from the floor. Slashing at another, Haruna sensed Omega coming from behind, turning herself to parry the Invader's thrust.
Just as it seemed that she has gotten back to an even footing, the floor seemed to sink under he next step, causing Haruna to lose her balance. Before anyone could react, it was wrapped in chains.
The next chain came from the ceiling, wrapping itself around her sword arm, before another wrapped itself around her waist. A last chain shot from the ceiling, wrapping itself around her neck, as Haruna desperate gasped for air, as all four chains began to tighten. Omega was not smiling anymore.
"Haruna!" She could hear Alexander call for her, but this time, she has no more tricks up her sleeve.

As Omega bit his neck and started to drink his blood, Alexander screamed. Not only because of the unbearable pain. He was used to pain. But what he was seeing, because of the effect of the chains... it might have been an illusion, but it looked real. Too real. The blue eyed Invader girl wasn't even trying to refrain herself. But then, Haruna managed to escape from her chains, and while attacking Omega, she managed to break one of the chains that were holding him. The black haired boy tried to help her, but before he was able to do anything, Haruna lost her balance, and she was soon tightly wrapped in chains.
"You interrupted my meal, human.", Omega said, approaching Haruna. Her face had the same empty, emotionless expression, but it was just a little different. Just enough for anyone to reallize that she was angry. Really, really angry. "You will pay for this insolence.". Now staying exactly next to Haruna, the Invader wasn't able to suppress her lust anymore, and deeply bit into Haruna's neck, sucking blood. Haruna felt an incredible pain, that couldn't be compared with the light pain she had felt when the demon and the angel were drinking her blood. Omega was a cursed being, a being of the Abyss. Smiling while continuing to drink, Omega lightly touched Haruna's chest, getting ready for what was going to follow.
Seeing Omega drink Haruna's blood, Alexander tried to free himself, but it was impossible. Every time he struggled, the chains were just bitting even deeper in his skin. But no.. he had to... he had to save her. "Mosrael!", Alexander shouted, as the blade of his sword was engulfed in a crimson fire. Using it, the black eyed boy managed to cut the chains in a few fast slashes, escaping, and starting to run towards Haruna. Slashing his sword, Alexander tried to hit Omega, but the blue eyed Invader, moving really fast, practically disappeared from there. The burning blade hit the chain that was binding Haruna's hand, breaking it, and before he was able to stop it, also lightly burned a small place on her arm. For a second, Alexander looked directly at Haruna, and she could clearly see that his eyes were now black with red. Mosrael was slowly but surely gaining control.
Unfortunately, exaclty a couple of moments later, Alexander turned around to parry Omega's strike with her black cane, pushing her forward, and starting a violent and fast fight. Fighting more and more recklessly, Alexander almost hit one of the two link haired girls, but managed to hit one of the chains instead. Not losing any moments, one of the pink haired girls managed to stand up, and with great efforts, touched the chains that were binding Haruna, that seemed to start losing their strength. Unfortunately for the pink haired girl, a moment later, a chain appeared from the ceiling, wrapping around her neck and dragging her up, trying to strangle her. Still, Haruna soon realized that maybe, with a little bit of effort, she could break her chains..

Haruna went limp with pain, screaming as the chains tightened around her, especially with Omega biting into her neck. Even when Mosrael or Azarael bit in, she could sense a gentleness in their bite, together with the inevitable prick. Omega's was full of bloodlust, piercing her flesh in a vicelike hold, her lifeblood being sucked as the Invader placed her hand on Haruna's chest, enjoying the Jupiterran's fear even as her eyes promised death to the Haruna.
I have seen your dreams Omega spoke into Haruna's subconsciousness. I know your fear, where my hand is, and where it will go... I shall awaken your greatest fear...
Haruna strained against the chains, but these are much stronger than the previous ones. Azarael continued to glow in her hand, but it's light slowly faded as Haruna continued to cry in pain. Haruna heard Alexander yell for Mosrael, and she closed her eyes, knowing that he had to give himself to the demon once again. Omega's hold on Haruna broke as Alexander rushed the Invader, causing her to break away and engage Alexander. Haruna hung limp, recovering from the excruciating pain as Mosrael's residual flames burned a spot on her arm. It was then, that Haruna saw Alexander's eyes. Until now, no tears were shed from the Jupiterran, but seeing Alexander, sadness filled her as a tear rolled out onto her cheek.
The next moments between Alexander and Omega was one of amazing speeds, both falling into their aggressive sword styles of aggression, each trying to defeat the other. With a Pink's chain severed, the girl ran to Haruna and began to weaken the chains binding her in place. Just as a new chain shot down and wrapped itself around Pink's neck, Haruna called forth Azarael, her eyes flashing a tint of silver for a moment. The glowing sword completing a circuit around the chains around his master, the weakened binds no match for the power of Azarael. Haruna fell to the ground, but not before extending her arm, severing the chain choking the Pink who helped her. Standing, Haruna dashed to the other Pink, severing her chain before leaping onto the wall, increasing her spring as she aimed for Omega's back.
The Invader dodged just in time, Haruna diving into a roll as Alexander again dashed forward, taking advantage of the opening to land a hit on Omega. It was with the back of his blade, and barely a hit. However, a flash of pain on Omega's face told Haruna all she needed. Teaming up with Alexander, the two humans struck hard and fast, before Omega called forth more chains. Haruna dived, stretching her arm, but missing Omega by mere millimeters before a chain wrapped around her ankle. Still in the same move, Haruna let go of Azarael, as the blue vines wrapped around her arm extended by a little. With a scream of defiance, Haruna brought her sword arm the other way, Azarael flashing the direction he came from, it's blunt surface smashing Omega across the chest.
The Invader screamed in pain as Haruna collapsed, nearing unconsciousness. Omega collapsed in a heap, just as Haruna saw Alexander standing over her, his eyes black and red, seemingly in conflict with himself. If he chose to impale Haruna, she would have no defence.
"Fight it! Fight it Alexander Werther!" Haruna screamed, pleading for Alexander to hear.

For a few slow passing moments, Alexander seemed to be in the middle of an internal conflict. The black haired boy's hands were shaking, as the burning blade was coming nearer and nearer to Haruna. Despite that, he was trying to fight it. The impulse to kill. The lust for blood. When a demon or an angel were almost completely taking over their wielders like this, both master and sword shared one mind and one body. That meant that right now, Alexander was experiencing the same desires and pain that had tormented Mosrael for millennia.
It was so close... blood.. blood.. blood.. Alexander's entire body visibly started to shake, as he was trying to oppose no...even if blood was so close... even so... he couldn't... he just couldn't... hurt her.. Haruna..
Suddenly, Alexander fell on his knees and dropped his sword as his eyes returned to their normal color, while Mosrael went back to sleep in the sword. Even if he was breathing heavily, Alexander felt relieved. Everyone was alright.. Omega seemed to have just disappeared, together with the chains that were binding Angelo, who was now on the floor trying to get back up. The two Pinks were helping each other stand up, one of them especially trying to help the other one who had almost been strangled to death a couple of minutes ago. The other soldiers were dead, but still, she was alright. That's everything that mattered.
"You're... you're alright..", Alexander said, sighing relieved as he tightle hugged Haruna." I'm sorry... I'm sorry for dragging you into all of this... it's my fault.."

Haruna looked at Alexander, the boy back to his normal self. The self full of guilt and grief. Haruna accepted Alexander as he hugged her, closing her eyes as he apologised. Slowly, Haruna pulled away from him, before giving Alexander a slap across the face. Stunned, Alexander looked at Haruna, seeing her face fighting back tears as she sheathed Azarael.
"Idiot! Alexander, you idiot! Why are you apologising? Didn't you know that my greatest wish is to help you, to fight and overcome the obstacles for our people's survival together?! I want to be here! I want to be with you, idiot!" Haruna thumped on Alexander's chest as she cried, partly in frustration at the guilt-filled boy, and partly in happiness, at chasing Omega away, and being cured. Haruna then pulled herself up, before realising that her foot was cut in many places, partly by the barbed vines which continuously lashed themselves against her. Haruna's neck has a rough abrasion, with a small red stain appearing at the waist area of her armour. Finally her neck and chest were also filled with minor cuts, but were heavily bruised. Each of Omegas touch on her hurt. Perhaps that's what she got for defying a being of such power.
Haruna slowly limped to her feet, grimacing in pain. She might have a battered bone somewhere, but she has to look after the Pinks, and possibly seek out Sigma, who threatened to destroy the Yui.
"Ah.. Pinks..." Haruna called as a quiet Alexander helped her up. "I hope you two are alright... We have to bring the Archive AI back to the Federated Colonies..." Seeing Alexander's eyes widen in shock, Haruna gulped. "It was the promise for the Cure... I proposed something different but... Azarael saved me, and offered to bring the Old Archive back... that we must honour, Alexander. Also, what of the Yui? My long-range communication's gone, I cannot raise the ship."

Even if he was initially shocked when Haruna had slapped him, the back haired boy soon realized that she was right. He.. had nothing to apologize for. She wanted to be here with him. And he was so glad to have her here with him. And at least, despite her small wounds, she was okay. They managed to survive this, they had found the cure, and managed to escape Omega. Though, the difficult part only now began.
"Bringing the AI back to the Colonies? I'm pretty sure that I received orders clearly forbidding that, but.. if you promised, we'll bring it back.", Alexander said before he sighed, as he helped Haruna up. Going to the main terminal of the command center, he connected his chip-bracelet to it, and started to download the AI program.
Meanwhile, the two "Pinks", now both up, started to speak, though strangely, they seemed to complete each other's words. One of them was speaking, and immediately the other was was continuing, so it was hard to keep track on who was who.
"Yeah.. we're alright... but please... don't call us Pinks.. we have names... I'm Orphis.. and I'm Borphis..", the two said, speaking in that strange way. "Though,.. we think... that you might have some.. problems... on your ship.."
"Uh... Haruna..", Alexander said, clearly preoccupied by something. " The Yui.. it's reactors are shut down it seems.. let me see if I can make a connection.. "
As soon as the audio connection was made, they heard shots, and people screaming. "To anyone hearing this, please help us!", someone started to speak. Both Haruna and Alexander recognized him as one of the Jupiterran officers on the ship." The Invaders, they're on the board, they're slaughtering.. ". And then, a scream was heard, followed by a familiar giggle. " My my, humans make so much mess when they die.." And then the connection stopped.

"Yui, Yui!" Haruna called out. It was futile for her, since her long-range communuicators were down. Panicking slightly, Haruna turned to Alexander, Angelo, Orphis and Borphis, the only peoples left in the command center. "We-we need to get back to the Yui! They need us, they're being slaughtered!"
Even as Haruna said that, she fell to her knees, not because of her wounds, but because of grief. Grief at the deaths of her crewmates, of the Jupiterrans and Colonials on board the Yui, fighting to keep them safe, fighting to ensure that the juggernaut remained near the Old Archive. Now, it was under attack.
"Do we have any alternatives? The ship would be lost... the people will be lost if we leave her like this!"

"There are Invaders on board... going back there would be suicide.", Angelo said, hearing the conversation." They are just.. deadly in ships, with the dead rising to help them... once a ship is infested with them, it's usually lost. And especially... with her on board. That girl.. Sigma.. she has a reputation of cruelty and efficiency even among the Invaders. We could try to return to the Yui using the transport ship.. but we won't have many chances to win." Even if someone might say that Angelo was a little too pessimistic, what he was saying was true. Especially since the Jupiterran crew of the Yui wasn't prepared to fight a boarding enemy..
"We must... agree to that.. We're not ready... to fight someone.. like Sigma.", the two pink haired girls said in their usual way. Meanwhile, Alexander, seeing Haruna on her knees like that, sighed as he extended his hand, trying to help her back up.
"I'm not going to lie to you.. I don't think that we should go back. But if you want to try to save them.. we'll try.", the black eyed boy said, with a saddened expression on his face.
