"As interesting as Xalion might be, I am fairly confident that you would enjoy Almarilion much better, Ambassador Rhodes. But we are delighted that you have accepted the Chancellor's request to take part in the joint meeting of the Federal Diet and the Federal Council.", the blue alien Federal Minister said calmly."You will also be safer on Almarilion. As I have said to the Adriano Ambassador some time ago, there have been.. strange things happening on Xalion. Accidents, failures. And important political and economic members have died. We are investigating it, but.. people are afraid. So, for the time being, I'd like to ask you to receive the protection of a SPEKO Einheit alongside your own security. Just as a precaution. We apologize for any inconveniences, but unfortunately, neither these events, nor the state of the planet, or the protests outside are in our power of control."
The Minister then listened to the Ambassador's words."Yes, the First Intergalactic War. I remember it.. as a diplomat, I must have an objective view of it, but that isn't the same for others. Many Colonials, especially those from the military, still hold on to old grudges.", Rhooxiom said." Our nations were and still are similar at the core. Both hate Earth, both are Colonial in nature, and both are made my multiple races. But that's exactly why the grudges last so long. The Confederates entered the war because of a Colonial mistake.. but also because of their own stubbornness. They refused, again and again, to believe, helping Mankind's biggest enemy at the time, which felt, and still feels, as a treason. These scars won't go off easily, Ambassador."
The Minister then sighed."As the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, I'm going to do my best in helping your attempts to reconcile things. The current government also desires that... but there are many who don't. And with the tense political situation in the Bundestag.. I can't promise anything, unfortunately."

As she viewed the protesting crowds, Rhodes thought about how they would never have appeared on Karsopolis. Or many other places in the Confederacy. They hadn't appeared since the Terror Wars in Triangulum, when a rogue faction had risen and waged war for seven years against the Confederate Government. The rest of the universe had been locked in the Second Intergalactic War. Split by internal war, the Confederacy had only provided material support to the IIA, and that had probably been a part of the Colonies' salvation. She recalled the daily broadcasts from High Admiral Carter Remington, who had led the Confederate Navy during the war. He had urged Confederate citizens to stand together. He had also assured them that the Confederacy wouldn't allow the universe to burn for traitors' bloodlust. But the Keltakens and Colonies were roughly even at the time, and the Confederacy had saved the Colonies by not tipping the scales. They had also prevented genocidal warmongers from taking over one of the strongest civilisations in the universe.
But Rhodes didn't mention any of this. She would save accounts of the war for a later time, perhaps if she was given an audience with Colonial citizenry. Instead, she said, "History will eventually account for everyone's guilt in the conflict, as well as the events that came after. But back to the present. You said we would be attending a meeting of the Federal Diet and Federal Council. I expect that will be fascinating." She then added with a bright smile, "And thank you for your help. It's appreciated."

"Zara was also barely capable of working with the Keltaken ships. Their systems were ulterly alien to her, and at the time she had barely risen from Rank 2. Though as you said, it might have ended differently. I may run simulations in the future regarding those events. But for now, I shall go with Captain von Hyre." The Acruani Ambassador smiled warmly at the Federal Minister.
Through the trip, while the Acruani with Melissa Lee kept only observing the soldiers and von Hyre, Melissa looked through the windows observing the world. When the officer spoke with her, she turned her head to him and accepted the data stick, "Thank you you very much, Captain von Hyre." She paused briefly before asking, "I hope you will take no offense with the following question, but were you present in the First Intergalactic War? I won't be offended, if there is any preoccupation that such may happen, if you wish to not speak of the subject, Captain." She smiles amicably at von Hyre.

The blonde officer remained quiet for some moments, seemingly as if he was trying to outweigh his hostility towards the Acruani ambassador and say something... or not. But after those few moments, with a sad smile on his face, the Colonial officer talked. "I can't say that I want to talk about it.. but it's not like if I ignore it, what happened will go away.", the Kriegsflotte captain said, once again involuntarily touching that medal with his right hand. "Back in 3148.. I was a Kriegsflotte lieutenant. When the war started.. and those reptilian bastards attacked Drathia, I was in a diplomatic mission in the Galactic Center. When I returned, I was sent to the Great Fleet of the Andromeda... at time to witness the massacres that turned the greatest fighting force of the Federation into scattered remains." The Colonial then made a short pause. "I survived, but back in the Milky Way, the Hegemon.. the very former Hegemon, selected me for a mission that at least in his opinion, had to change the course of the war. We were sent on Terra Nova, to find the CMS Sol Nova, which at least with out records, had crashed there. That was around the time your race contacted the Keltakens and the Colonies for the first time, ambassador.". It was clear that the Colonial didn't exactly like to talk about this, but he continued. "The mission... failed horribly. I died there, on Terra Nova, if you consider the fact that my heart had stopped as dead.. but one of those monsters there froze me right before it killed me.. so I spent a well decade frozen on a dead planet. The CMS Prinz Eugen and its commanders rescued me around a month ago, when they were sent in a mission to Terra Nova.. me and the other survivors of the mission, old and irradiated. But a month is a long time for old humans... I'm the only one left." The Colonial then looked at Melissa Lee, hate burning in his eyes. "Our mission back then took an entire Fleet Group of the Kriegsflotte to Terra Nova, a Fleet Group that was lost in vain. If not for the presence of your Zara, Ambassador, we wouldn't have had to search through hell for Kobol and the others of Project AI.. and if we would have had that Fleet Group back at the decisive battle of the war... we could have kicked those filthy lizards back from the holes they came from."

Shooting out of a Mass Warp bubble was a small fleet of Keltaken Inquisitional ships the special brandings and warmarks could mean it was no other then the ship of Commodore Zoilong. With all the suddenly shifting politics of the Empire it was called upon people like the Commodore to hold the aged empire together. As per a special condition his entire crew was Goshwaken save for a few...pets he had decided to bring along with him, the Keltaken parasites where slowly growing into a fascination, once they reached maturity and left there host body they could function with the same mental capacity as or above the creature it inhabited taking on character traits and looks of the host. Zoilong had brought one with him in a glass case he was raising it from a spore and wanted to see if it could affect a colonial animal if possible. However before doing so he would be sure to tell the Colonial government, the purpose of the visit and possible eternal stay of the aged commodore was to get to understand the workings of the colonials and bridge the two races. For so long they had been enemies it wouldn't be easy to get back to a status quo.
"This is the Keltaken vessel Vengeful Journey requesting permission to land, we are currently carrying Commodore Zoilong the will be Keltaken Ambassador to you colonials..." The Goshwaken spoke calmly and waited for a reply being an all Goshwaken crew they would have a bit more of a delicate approach to things that most keltakens couldn't.

As soon as the Keltaken ships entered the system, every last Colonial unit in, on, and near Xalion was put into alert. The well known Colonial alarm sounded everywhere:
Action stations, action stations, all hands, action stations! Set Condition One, Set Condition One! This is not a drill, this is not a drill!
The Keltaken fleet was of course, a diplomatic one, but you could never be too sure.. as the Colonials were on maximum alert, a message was sent to the Keltakens.
To the Vengeful Journey, this is the Xalion Orbital Command. Please land in the spaceport on the coordinates we have given you, be careful in the atmosphere, and follow the civilian air corridor, any deviation from the corridor will be considered an hostile act. After landing in the spaceport, you will be escored by Feldgendarmerie to the exit of the spaceport, where the Federal Foreign Minister and the Confederate Ambassador are also waiting. God bless the Federated Colonies.
A cold voice, full of partially hidden hostility said.
But the way was now open.

A cold voice, full of partially hidden hostility said. But the way was now open. " Truly the fear of the Empire falls upon these humans the mere sight of a Keltaken vessel sends them to scurry and arm themselves. Helmsman follow there instructions and power down all weapons I haven't lived as long as i have just to be killed on some Moon because my pilot couldn't follow simple instructions. Load up the mech and have it ready for landing and open up a channel with the humans" The word of the Commodore was obeyed and everyone scrambled to make things ready for the landing it had been a while since a Keltaken had set foot on a human world without provocation to attack so this would be interesting. "All system are ready Commodore you may begin broadcasting to the colonial command" "Colonial command this is Commodore Zailong we shall do as instructed and we have powered down our weapons, my Honor guard will be accompanying me and the rest of the supplies we have already made known to you will be transported to the new embassy. I hope we can put past grievances behind us and work things out for the better." Now with that out of the way the Commodore made sure his little parasite was set in its little home to be transferred to the embassy, in moments the Keltaken ship had landed awaiting the escort while Goshwakens military and staff started to set about preparing the move.

For a foreign civilization, the rapidity through which the Colonials had entered Condition One might have indeed seemed like fear, but the truth was largely different. Of course, what compelled them to enter Condition One was the presence of a Keltaken vessel. But it wasn't because of fear. If not for the military discipline and rules, all across the Colonial units in the system, there would have been millions of people ready and willing to open fire on the Keltakens. Hate... the shadow of hate was running deep through here. Luckily though, ever since the incident that brought the Confederates in the First Intergalactic War, Colonial ships had safety measures put on. So no shot was fired at the Keltakens... for now.
With the guidance of the Xalion Orbital Command, the Keltakens landed in the same spaceport that had been used by both the Acruani and the Confederates. And while the staff of the embassy was escorted towards the future site of the Keltaken embassy, as far as possible from main settlements on Xalion, in a Federal Military District, the Ambassador himself was escorted by a few Gendarmes to the place where the Minister was currently talking with the Confederate Ambassador, in front of the spaceport. As the Keltaken would approach, he would be able to notice the black-golden, cloud covered and polluted sky of the planet, and the high artificial lights. And then of course, the people protesting somewhere in the distance, outside of the spaceport's perimeter. But closer to him was the Confederate ambassador, and a strange blue alien, the Federal Foreign Minister and then of course, the Colonial soldiers, and the young human woman, in a strange Colonial uniform with a black-silver color scheme, and with her dark blue hair and sickly yellow eyes.
"Yes, for a non-democratic nation like the Confederacy, a joint meeting of the Federal Council and the Federal Diet will prove to be interesting. We have carried on the democratic traditions of the Old Earth and many other planets in the galaxy, with both good and bad, unfortunately. The recent events have caused a big political instability though, so the meeting will be... a little more animated then usual, especially since it was requested by the Bellum coalition of factions. I'm also confident that you will find the Square of Liberty and the Palace of the Parliament interesting, Ambassador.", the minister said, before turning towards the approaching Keltaken, and bowing in the same way he had done before the other ambassadors, in his native way probably, as he started to speak. "Welcome to Xalion, Commodore Zailong. We are glad that you managed to arrive without any big problems.", the alien said. "I am Crium Rhooxiom, the current Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs. I would like to officially welcome you in the name of the Federal Government."
The Minister then smiled, looking at both ambassadors. "As I said to Ambassador Rhodes shortly before, the Federal Chancellor has invited all the ambassadors to attend to a joint meeting of the Federal Council and the Federal Diet, one that will happen soon. The Acruani Ambassador and Ambassador Rhodes have already accepted the offer. What would you say, Ambassador Zailong?", the Minister asked. And while the Minister was very calm and welcoming, it wouldn't require mind reading capabilities to realize that the yellow eyed female officer next to him wasn't all that friendly towards the Keltaken.

From the shadows of space, a single Iosif Stalin class battleship jumps in. No one had to ask anyone to know who owned it, for it had the red star and the sickle and hammer painted on the side. But there was no time to waste. It sent a message to the Colonials,
"Commonwealth ambassador has arrived. Seeking permission to land."

To the Commonwealth Star Ship having jumped in the system, this is the Xalion Orbital Command. You will be escorted to the orbit of Xalion, and you can afterwards land or send transport ships to the coordinates we will give you, there is a spaceport there will all the facilities. While landing, please follow the civilian air corridors, and be careful in Xalion's atmosphere, there is the possibility for a hurricane to form. After landing, soldiers will be waiting to escort your ambassador. Over.

And while the Minister was very calm and welcoming, it wouldn't require mind reading capabilities to realize that the yellow eyed female officer next to him wasn't all that friendly towards the Keltaken. Before speaking the Keltaken attempted to return the gesture given to him not exactly understanding it, however he wanted to attempt to be polite. While he was here talking the Goshwaken soldiers had gotten together and started to unload the equipment they would be using to stay on this planet busy workers some wished they could have brought some of the Keltakens cousins long but truly any stran of keltaken might cause for some unwanted attention. So they worked as best they could on there own the mech in transit would help greatly with construction. The Commodore's face was obscured by a long dark mask like that of an ancient Plague doctor of earth. " I would be delighted to attend, it has been a while since I've sat down and watched a Democratic proceeding." he then looked at the minister cold and calm through his mask he could see the anger in her eyes, " If you have something that you'd like to say to me now would be the time, We can move to a more private room but unless it is something important i hope it does not compromise what I have come to expect from the discipline of the Colonial Government, expert drills and judging by how i wasn't blown out of the sky that itself had to take some major restraint. So i am hoping personal prejudice can be put behind for the sake of your own nation, I have come as a benefactor to help not to hinder your nation let us attempt to get on with a friendly first step." With that the Keltaken waited to see what the minister had to say so much hatred was aimed towards the Keltakens and with good right, the Commodore planned to hit them head on and try to move past them, many lives had been ruined because of unrestricted keltaken Warfare and in truth it is all they know crush the enemy as hard as they can as quickly as they can. Zailong was hoping that things would slowly calm after his arrival was overshadowed by something else but for now he was willing to accept what was now, he looked around the room and smiled under his mask at seeing the confederate delegate, he had met with confederates over the course of his long time alive and they where people you could depend upon the Empire was lucky to have an ally such as there kind, then he looked at the Acrunai, strong machines and to the colonials from reports he had heard the very reason they lost the first intergalactic war. Thing would be tense he could feel, then he also started to wonder how the goshwakens where doing with the building, but one thing at a time.

The Stalin recieved the message well, and it proceeded to send the transport bearing Vasily Kalashnikov to the given coordinates...

Hearing the Keltaken's words, the yellow eyed girl simply smiled, remaining quiet for a few moments. The Minister sighed, although he remained quiet. Even if the Colonies were a democracy, it would be anyone's wisest choice not to interfere with the KOLSI. But the Keltaken obviously, had no idea what the KOLSI was, or that the young girl belonged to it. But then of course, the Keltaken was an ambassador, so she wasn't going to do anything to him. But she still answered.
"I know that it probably is difficult to understand for someone that comes from a backward, feudal empire like the Keltaken Empire, but here, in the Federated Colonies, we have two really nice things called freedom of opinion, and freedom of speech.", the blue haired girl said. "There is discipline in the Colonial Government, that is true, but nobody can force me to change by beliefs. And unless it wasn't obviously, I'm one of the people who hate you and your damned reptilian race, Ambassador. And I have the right to keep my opinions, no matter what others may say. And while you might fool others that you're here for peace, Keltaken, you won't fool me. Your cursed race isn't capable of peace."
The minister sighed again. "I would like to apologize, and state that Lieutnant von Esmarch's opinions and ideas are her own and do not reflect the opinion of the Federal Government. While it is true that the receiving of these embassies has created tensions among the population, the Federal Government is willing to work together towards a more peaceful future."
And then, the soldiers escorted the Commonwealth's ambassador from the spaceport in which he had landed to the front, where the Minister, the KOLSI officer, the soldiers, the Confederate, and the Keltaken ambassadors were.
"Welcome to Xalion, Ambassador Vasily Kalashnikov.", the Minister said, turning to face the Commonwealth ambassador, while bowing in the same way he had saluted the Keltaken ambassador. "As I was just telling to the Keltaken and Confederate ambassadors, we have been invited to assist to a joint meeting of the Federal Council and of the Federal Diet. Would you want to join us?"

Let it be known that I do so admire you and your fiery spirit but let me ask you how much about the Empire do you know to call us backwards? As well dear Minister do not be ashamed of your Lieutenant for speaking her mind after all I did ask her opinion and she answered as what I've come to expect from colonials who only know the warring nature of my people. It is common and it is why I was chosen to become the Ambassador here in Xailon." The Commodore up until this point had been hunched over but it was starting to hurt his back, standing up straight for a moment he showed the full size of his stature before hunching back down relaxing the muscles in his body. "The Empire may be backwards in your eyes dear Lieutenant, however more races thrive within the empire then anywhere else never will you find a more mixed and broad collective of races in this galaxy, and we have remained a super power for longer then your race has existed yet I digress, we all need to assist one another but that will be left for a later date if you'd like to speak with me in private my door is always open to you" with that the Keltaken grew silent simply observing the actions of those around him, like a machine gathering data he looked over all his surroundings.

To speak in the behalf of my comrades back in the Magellanic CLoud 2."
