The Slayn System, Tal'darim territory.....
2,300 mysterious warships warped in out of nowhere in the Slayn System. They had complete radio silence, and the local Tal'darim Guardians immediately took them as hostile and fired warning shots over the prows of the lead battleships, but it was a great mistake. Like a swarm of bees, fighters poured from the hangars of the carriers and battleships, and many of the Guardian ships were destroyed within minutes. After that, the fleet commenced orbital bombardment on the inhabited planets in the system, faster than the Tal'darim Death Fleet could react. It was after a massive loss of life did the Death Fleet finally come along, and they started sending an SOS all over the adjacent space -
After an hour, a segment of the Golden Armada somehow got the message, and it passed on the message to the nearest Colonial system as well as Eldari systems to inform them of what is happening in the Slayn System.
In the bridge of the lead battleship of the Tal'darim Insurgents, Khorkulan, commander of this fleet, laughs in glee as he sees the Slayn System engulfed in flames, the Death Fleet ships attempting to hold the line, and a moon or two exploding from the sheer amount of attacks.
"This is the day our revenge has come. En Taro Ma'lash!"

Die Föderierte Kolonien "Einheit, Freiheit, und Glechheit!" Koloniale Flottengruppe Brandenburg
The Federated Colonies "Unity, Freedom, and Equality!" The Colonial Fleet Group Brandenburg
As soon as the nearest Colonial system received the message, it was forwarded to the Zentral Oberkommando. Of course, the Central High Command wasn't going to allow rebels, or insurgents, or whatever they were, to wreak havoc behind the main frontlines. For the survival of the Milky Way, all the efforts had to be focused on the Periphery. That's why, starting with the Terran secessionists, the Federated Colonies had zero tolerance for those who rose against the already established governments in the Milky Way. Directly, the Federation was controlling around half of the Milky Way, and the other half was populated by countless nations and races, that were either more or less Colonial protectorates, or Colonial allies. A brutal war was still going on in the Periphery against the Invaders, but the rest of the galaxy was almost pacified. And anyone opposing this peace, like those corrupt Purifiers, were going to pay for it..
Soon after, a Colonial Fleetgroup of about five hundred Type IV Battlestars, led by the Colonial Military Ship Tirptiz, and a thousand more other ships, mainly cruisers. As soon as they jumped in the system, the Colonials entered an offensive formation, with the battlestars protected by the other ships, and with the Tirptiz as the head of the formation. The battlestars started to launch their alert fighters, and activated their Klein Fields. A message was sent to the loyalists: To the Tal'darim Death Fleet, this is the CMS Tirptiz, leading the CFG Brandenburg, we have come to help.
To the rebels: To the Tal'darim Insurgents, surrender now. Your attack is against a fleet allied and under the protection of the Federated Colonies. In accordance with the Articles of Colonization, any further offensive actions will be considered an act of war against the Federation. Surrender immediately.

The Insurgent Fleet seemed to completely ignore the Colonial message;rather, they turned around and started attacking the Colonial Fleet. As they did so, more Insurgent battleships and cruisers warped in to strike. By this time, the Death Fleet has been crippled by the sudden attack and are left completely helpless.
But that was just the beginning. A pinkish mist began spewing from the Insurgent tanker ships(which are built for that specific purpose), and soon, the mist prevented radio waves from hitting the fleet by bouncing them off. This consequently made the fleet much more difficult to target, and out of the terrazine fogs, laser beams and kinetic shells emerged rapidly and started hitting the Colonial Klein Fields with great force.
Meanwhile, a portion of the Golden Armada warps in to the system. In their ranks are several Purifier superbases and a large force of capital ships, many newly built from the shipping center of Antiga Prime.
"Colonial Fleet and Death Fleet, the Golden Armada has come to your aid."

Unfortunately for the insurgents, the fog that surrounded their ships didn't do that much as to slow down the Colonials.Radio might not have worked, but the Fleetgroup Brandenburg had the Colonial Tactical Network to rely on. All the computers of the ships in the Fleet Group synchronized, and with such an enormous computer power, they simply started to predict the locations of the insurgent ships in the fog, while also sending small Sentinel drones in the fog. The battle was just starting.
Out of a sudden, the Colonial ship seemed to change their color. the usual black of their exterior turning into a gray color, similar to their old pre-Intergalactic Wars color scheme, while upon hits, their Klein Fields showed off a similar color. But this was only the beginning.
Having deployed their alert fighters and entered formation, the Colonial ships opened fire with continuous, precise salvos of their main kinetic batteries. The Type IV's had much more powerful kinetic guns than the older Colonial ships, since the new armor managed to keep the kinetic force better under control, allowing for bigger and more powerful weapons to be built. The main laser batteries, also opened fire, supporting the kinetic batteries, which seemed to be firing fragmentation projectiles, projectiles designed to explode and throw veranium everywhere, allowing for a more spread damage when the location of the enemy ships was camouflaged like that.
Welcome to the battle, Golden Armada. Let's finish those insolent insurgents.
Led by the Tirptiz, the Fleet Group started to advance. Meanwhile, the alert fighters launched in squadrons, surrounding and bypassing the enemy fog formation, trying to get behind it.

The Insurgents, seeing that the Type IV's and the Golden Armada were too strong for them, started to retreat. However, they weren't just leaving. Their motherships fired displacement beams at the some of the planets in the system that contains massive amounts of terrazine trapped just 46-70 meters from the surface. The planetary surfaces started to blow out huge amounts of the pinkish gas, which started to cover their atmospheres as well as their orbits.
One by one, the Insurgent ships fled off, but not without dealing horrific damage to the system. Hundreds of thousands lay dead from the sudden attack, and Tal'darim support to the war against the Invaders was effectively destroyed. Half of the Death Fleet has been destroyed, and most of the remaining ships sufferred heavy damage.
This is only the beginning of the Tal'darim Insurgency. Elsewhere in the Koprulu Sector, minor attacks from the Insurgents mounted against many of the Protectorate territories. Though for now, only 12,456 have been killed in the attacks minus the attack of the Slayn System, as time progresses, the death rate may rise.

The final act of the Tal'darim insurgents in that system caused an uproar in the Colonial Parliament. It was understandable, after all. Such a cruel attack against civilians was breaking all galactic and intergalactic war regulations, and it was directly breaching parts of the Articles of Colonization. The insurgents should be proud of themselves. Not many factions had managed to force the extremely large and diverse Bundesparlament to actually reach a majority regarding a decision. That's why, the Federated Colonies hereby announce: Die Föderierte Kolonien "Einheit, Freiheit, und Glechheit!" Der Bundesparlament der Kolonien
The Federated Colonies "Unity, Freedom, and Equality!" The Federal Parliament of the Colonies
In complete accordance with the galactic and intergalactic war regulations established by the Galactic Council, and in complete accordance with the Articles of Colonization and all the laws of the Federated Colonies the protectorates of the Colonies have ratified; the Parliament of the Federation announces the following decisions:
The Federated Colonies and all their protectorates hereby condemn the actions of the Tal'darim Insurgents, due to their war crimes and unjustified actions against defenseless civilians, which break all the galactic accords regarding the situation of civilian non-combatants in a war zone. These war crimes shall not stand unpunished, and with this official condemnation, which is ratified by all the Federal states and protectorates of the Federated Colonies, the Tal'darim Insurgents have officially become enemies of the Milky Way Galaxy.
Due to the before-mentioned condemnation, and the unjustified insurgent aggression over Colonial warships, the Federated Colonies and their protectorates find themselves obliged to officially declare war against the Tal'darim Insurgents. The Colonial Armed Forces are hereby authorized to help the Tal'darim loyalists, the Golden Armada and the Eldari Protectorate in completely destroying this insurgency which is threatening the peace of the galaxy and the war effort against the Invaders. God bless the Federated Colonies, and may He help us in our just fight.
Following the condemnation and the war declaration of the Colonial Parliament against the Tal'darim Insurgents, the Federated Colonies have dispatched Battlegroup Brandenburg to help the factions fighting against the insurgency. The defense of the nearby Colonial systems has also been strenghtened, and the Central High Command of the Armed Forces of the Federated Colonies has started planning a possible major offensive against the insurgents.

Once again, the Insurgents launched major attacks against several Eldari Systems: Antiga Prime, Sigmonis Quadrant, Ulaan, Endion, and Kalduran. Currently, Antiga Prime is a fortress of the Golden Armada, Sigmonis is a Shadow Templar holding, Ulaan and Endion are held by the Purifiers, and Kalduran is an archive world.
Antiga Prime
An estimated 12,000 warships struck at the fortress-ship building capital of Antiga Prime. For now, the Golden Armada contingent is holding them off well while awaiting for reinforcements from the Brandenburg Battlegroup and the Zhakul Guardians. However, the Insurgents have released huge clouds of terrazine in the system, effectively blocking all radio contact. And they are rumours of the Invaders helping the Insurgents...
Sigmonis
A force of 4,000 warships, many of them apparently mercenaries, have attacked the Sigmonis system from 3 directions, causing confusion among the Shadow Templar forces as their limited number of 1,000 ships couldn't possibly fight off a force of 4,000 attacking from 3 different directions. Their stealth was broken by the pseudo-Markers the Insurgents have(they are much weaker and their effects are much weaker than actual Markers. They are just machines built by the Insurgents) brought along them. Sigmonis needs assistance.
Ulaan and Endion
Ulaan and Endion, two systems directly adjacent to each other, is under attack by the largest attack force the Insurgents have brought so far - 15,000 ships, the majority are mind controlled pirates and paid mercenaries. The Purifier platforms and fleets defending the two system have a clear numerical disadvantage(they are only 3,000 total), but they reconstruction abilities and survivability has so far protected them from getting wiped out.
Kalduran
The rogue planet of Kalduran is an archive world, meaning that its sole purpose is to preserve historical records. It was defended by the few but elite Kalduran Guardians, who number at 2,000 fighters and 100 ships, excluding ship crews. However, they aren't holding their ground well against the attacking Insurgent force of mercenaries of 800 ships and 10,000 troops(once again, excluding the crews).
