The Great Council of the Humans in the Andromeda Der Großrat der Menschen in der Andromeda
The events of the last months have had a huge effect on the human systems in the Andromeda galaxy. After rebuilding their planets, and fleets with the help of the Acruani, the humans once more realized that they had a good chance at choosing their own fate.... and even if the Acruani rule was indirect, and not threatening their freedom, the humans had always been known as one of the races that loved freedom the most... so obviously, slowly but surely, ideas of freedom entered the minds of the humans in the Andromeda, as their fleets were being made, maybe also helped by the propaganda made by the Wings of Freedom. And now, as the way of life of the humans in the Andromeda returned more and more to the way it was before, when the Colonies ruled them... the feeling of nostalgia slowly took over many of them. Before the Acruani could even fully understand what was happening, the impulsive humans were once again in the middle of countless arguments, forcing the Great Council to debate.... a debate that found an end when the mysterious figure known as the Captain, the Human Representative in front of the Acruani, held a speech, broadcasted all over the Andromeda. "Humans of the Andromeda, brothers, sisters, members of all the races that populate our wonderful galaxy. It is well known, that from the oldest times, despite various problems, the humans have tried, despite all the challenges, to keep up these main three ideals that we inherited from our ancestors. Unity. Freedom. Equality. The human race has always wished for a peaceful and harmonious cohabitation of this galaxy, between the humans, and all other races living here. From many points of view, the current political and social situation of the humans in the Andromeda is perfect, working together with many other races under the protection of the Acruani Collective. But unfortunately, the events of the last months have proven us that this can't last forever. More than two years ago, during the peace talks hold on Luna, the satellite of Earth, the Keltaken Empire and its allies have thrown a shameful ultimatum at the Federated Colonies. Forced to choose between abandoning us but saving the humans in the Milky Way, or face a war that could threaten the survival of the human race itself... the leaders of the Colonies have had to accept it, not before trying to help us as much as they could, and taking with them as many of us as they could. We faced one of the greatest threats in our history... but with the help of the Acruani, we survived it. For this, the Acruani and the races protected by them have our eternal gratitude. We can say, that the human race, considered the Acruani, and all the races protected by them, including the Loroi, to be our friends. But, we believe that enough time has passed, for once to prove to all nations in the Andromeda that we are a race that's worthy to lead itself, to have its own rulers, and to live in peace and harmony with the others with whom we share this galaxy. This is why, the Great Council of the Humans in the Andromeda officially declares that a few weeks from now, we are going to hold a plebiscite on all the human worlds in this galaxy. This plebisicte, is going to determine in a true democratic way, the fate of the humans in this galaxy. We will either remain under the Acruani, become independent, or join back our Fatherland, the Federated Colonies, all while preserving the ideals of Unity, Freedom, and Equality. May the Gods help us in our decision, and may They help the human race on its new way! "

When the Keltakens where given word of this...There was nothing but utter outrage... The Treaty was only agreed to because of the Acrunai, if the Keltakens had gotten their way they would have either exterminated the humans those two years ago or exiled them...The government was in a fury. The new somewhat changed Keltaken Empress was no happier then the next Keltaken, personally she would see to this matter...wither the humans knew it or not this would break the treaty signed and it would lead to war. Even in this time the Keltakens cared very little about the invaders, more and more each day actually felt they should ally with them and accept their change. To accept a new stage in evolution that would bring them closer to their god. For the moment however the Empress with her newly reformed guard was made ready. Slowly the Keltakens reliance on numbers were dwindling, numbers had begun to shrink and because of that the need for more quality fighters had and therefore taken precedent. The Keltakens where on the warpath, what side they would take would only soon be decided...like a caged beast they waited and watched and listened always learning and always expanding.
Keltakens always a creature of habit...Always ready for a war this time their would be no holding them back...Ever since the last war more and more Kletakens have turned to Mech combat fast moving or heavy hitting machinery that amplified their own abilities. Slowly the armies where changing and at its head was their Empress. Never before had a Keltaken leader taken such a role in fighting, having her own mech built to harness the power of the new sword of death that she had aquired she was readying everything for a massive counter offensive. Firstly she would deal with the humans however and a small Keltaken fleet and it's specialized Grau Battalion the elite Keltaken Ace force. She would send a clear message the Keltaken Empire would have no human meddling in Andromeda.
"Send a reply message and prepare the fleets we move to see this planet they will assemble on..." The Empress sounded pissed as could possibly be, she had changed, what was once the voice of reason and peace had been broken...She had fallen back on her races primal nature of survival. If that meant going to extreme lengths possibly even joining with the invaders and going through a new type of evolution then they would...The Keltaken race would survive like they always have one way or another, and if their race did march to oblivion they would hold strong and they would not waiver...they would march gladly to their deaths...the Empress message when like this all across Andromeda her face looked sunken, dead, different...
"To the races of Andromeda...The Humans will not be allowed this mockery...I have tried to make peace with their race but all that has ever transpired was war. I will not, shall now, cannot stand by and watch as these humans make a mockery of the treaty which put them down like they needed to be. My kind have time and time again stopped the humans and their ways. I shall do so again...Permanently if I must, the humans of Andromeda have been allowed their place in it simply because of the assurance that the Acrunai gave us they would keep the humans under control. Seeing as how the humans wish to challenge the treaty the Keltakens have no choice to but to force Marshall law, this shall not be allowed. The Acrunai have 48 Standard Galactic hours to address this situation or it will mean that the treaty allows for the placement of Keltaken Ground forces to reestablish order. Once this issue is taken care of the issue of the invaders will be the highest on the order of the Keltaken empire. Operation Sin will cleanse them from the galaxies you have my promise..." This message was sent not only to Andromeda but to every Galaxy on every frequency it was a message to the invaders that their end was near, and that the Keltakens had truly returned.

“Goddamn it!” Assistant Director of Imperial Intelligence Alice Kennison swore loudly. The humans in Andromeda leaving had been of little concern, but the Keltaken threat now was real cause for concern. The threat had been re-broadcasted from an Intelligence post in Andromeda.
One comms agent asked in a concerned tone, “How are we going to address this, Assistant Director? Shall we inform Silva?”
“Not yet. She has enough on her mind with the Relikans, the war effort, and the conference to come,” Kennison said. “We have to see what happens next. But ready the military forces of Intelligence. We may not be as strong as the Confederate Military, but we have quite a bit of strength. If we must mobilise against a Keltaken invasion of Andromeda, then we will. Contact Zlasa ‘God-seer’. She won't stand for this. She’ll take control of the situation so we don't have to. But even so, ready our forces.”
As Kennison said this, she broadcast a signal marked urgent to the Drathian Fylkirate. Intelligence had planned to simply rig the decisions of the humans. This intimidation could not stand.

Die Föderierte Kolonien "Einheit, Freiheit, und Glechheit!" Der Bundes Auswärtiges Amt
The Federated Colonies "Unity, Freedom, and Equality!" The Federal Foreign OfficeFollowing the recent events in the galaxy of the Andromeda, the Federated Colonies would like to officially express their concern that the situation there, unless it calms down, could lead to a possible disastrous situation for everyone involved, through the Federal Foreign Office and its respective ambassadors in the nations involved. The Government of the Federated Colonies would like to advice everyone involved to stop this alarming situation, and calmly discuss everything diplomatically, as there is no need for a war. The reaction of the Keltaken Empire was clearly exagerated, and the Federated Colonies surely hope that the rest of the members of the Intergalactic Imperial Alliance will carefully consider this situation much better. No term of the treaty has been broken, and the reasons evoked by the Keltakens have no sold basis. If the announcement wouldn't have been broadcasted intergalactically, the Federal Foreign Office would have certainly believed that this was just a mock statement, designed to deteriorate the relations between the Federated Colonies and the members of the IIA. We really hope that the Keltaken Empire will better consider its statements. The Federated Colonies, while delighted by the desire of the humans of the Andromeda to return to their Fatherland, would like to officially declare that it has not and it will not influence them in any way. The Federated Colonies have no involvement in the Andromeda as of now, respecting the terms of the treaty signed on the Moon. Even if the humans of the Andromeda would vote to rejoin the Federated Colonies, and ratify the Articles of Colonization, nothing would be done without prior consulting the other nations who have signed the treaty. The Federated Colonies would once again like to officially express their wish of peace and harmony between the nations of this universe. Leaders of the nations of the IIA, be wise! Stop the endless quarrels and fights between us, the nations of the civilized world. The Invaders are the ones we should really unite against...

Meanwhile, somewhere...
Somewhere, on a strange ship, in a dark room, lit only by a small lamp, that only covered the entrance to it, so there was no way to say if there was anyone actually in it, it was just... more of a feeling. A feeling confirmed by a strange, grey cloaked figure, who entered the room, remaining in the lit part, kneeling, and starting to speak, as if there was someone in the darkness, listening to him.
"Sir, we have received the messages from the Andromeda... the Keltakens have reacted just as we have expected. They are ready to start a war with the humans in their galaxy, and if one thing is clear, is that the Federated Colonies aren't going to just stay and watch their kin getting slaughtered... and if they intervene, so will the members of the IIA."
For a moment, there was silence, before whoever was in there softly snickered...
"How stupid can they be? We aren't even doing anything, and they already starting to fight between themselves... destroying them should be much easier than we have initially anticipated... announce the Grand Master of this....", the strange voice said. "Yes,sir!", the gray cloaked figure said, bowing before it quickly stood up, and left.
Immediately after his departure, the person in the dark started to laugh...

The Citadel, Drathia
Kennison's signal was recieved almost immediatey, save for a few seconds delay. On the other side of the broadcast, Zlasa's voice could be heard.
"The Keltakens are acting up again? Gods damn-.. I specifically told Zora that I would not tolerate any sort of violent transgressions, not with her last stunt in trying to destroy thousands of stars for her stupid sword. Don't worry, I'll try to-.." Her voice was cut off by the sound of blaster fire. A loud clacking coming from Zlasa's end of the transmission was a telltale sign that her communicator had been dropped. Another voice, this one male was a highly evident rasp, drowled from Zlasa's communicator.
"I'd have thought one should would be enough." It said, and the sound of blaster fire was heard again alongside the sound of a heavy thud. Afterwards, the signal cut off.

Kennison's mind went into overdrive at the sound of the shots. If Zlasa hadn't been so obviously in the Citadel, the Assistant Director would have ordered a trace.
She jumped visibly when a voice from behind asked coldly, "Assistant Director. What treachery is this?" Kennison turned. The voice was Markinson's, and he scowled as he played back the last moments of signal Intelligence had captured.
One younger agent asked, "What should we do?"
"Our jobs," Kennison said in a hard tone. "Something abruptly cut off Zlasa. I dont know if the attackers know that we know, but we're going to investigate. If there is disloyalty, it will be snuffed out." The Intelligence officer selected a Phantom Agent from the crowded room and said, "You. You're going to investigate this."
"Me?" the man asked. "I'll obey any order of course, but why me? There are many agents more suited to the task of investigation."
"Perhaps," Kennison said. "But our best agents are familiar to our enemies, the dissidents from every corner of the IIA. Perhaps not their names and faces, but their modus operandi and their ruthlessness. You're relatively unknown. And you've been selected for this mission. Be ready to depart within the hour. You'll be investigating the lost contact with the Fylkja. You'll also do everything in your power to curb the Keltakens from escalating the current situation, but you will not allow this to interfere with your main mission. The Drathians are supposed to be in control. Restore their control, and restore order to Andromeda. But for now, stay in the shadows. Dont let anyone know your real mission, just tell them you're with Intelligence. You have 48 hours. 48 hours to restore the Fylkja to power, the one who can fix this better than anyone. After that, the Keltakens may attack the Andromeda humans, in which case Intelligence will be forced to exit the shadows in the interest of preserving Intergalactic Peace. Imperial Intelligence cannot win against the Keltaken Empire in an open war, so do not fail. And expect resistance from the Keltaken Inquisition at every turn."
Kennison then sent a short message to Silva, one containing the Keltaken message, and another saying "Counter-measures undertaken in Andromeda." She also sent on to the Colonial Intelligence service to inform them of the situation.
Meanwhile, the young agent prepared for the mission. His name was Terence Radford, and he stood 6'0 with dark blonde hair, brown eyes, and the standard dark clothing of Intelligence officers.

Answers to both the Human Representative to the Acruani and the Empress of the Keltaken Empire were given, timely. Sincerely, Keltaken Warmongering and Human Impulsiveness truly hurt Acruani effort to... have things simply go well. Sadly, things are simply going as they expected. Some problems could hardly be avoided at this point in time. The situation was indeed, profoundly grave. Not because of the Human's plebiscite, as it was completely expected and measures for it to properly happen were to be taken rather easily, but the Keltaken threats, truly had its chance to hurt their attempts to look like civil polite wonderful overseers in the eyes of the Humans . Their interference also changed who would answer to the general demands related to the Humans of Andromeda. If it were just the Humans, just the Overseer of the Humans of Andromeda would need to give them an answer. And considering that ever since Iraesh became the Overseer of the Dothvalian Confederacy, there has been no one qualified for the position, who wished for it. Thus all that was left was for Archene to answer them. While his preferred body was in use in the Milky Way, he still had a... considerable sense of self, so soon enough, a transmission was made by the Acruani. To those who could hear in the local galaxies, at least. The transmission itself, seemed to be of Archene on a plain white background. "Greetings, People of Andromeda under the Acruani Collective. Greetings, those of the Keltaken Empire. Greetings to all who can hear Us, of the Acruani Collective, at this moment. Firstly, to the Humans in Andromeda, and all the other races living with them, We primarily have to congratulate you on your Will to follow your ideals. As We once stated, when you brought you under the Collective, you are free people. Therefore, as some may say, we have no plans on stopping you, furthermore, we will ensure that there is no fraud, that there are no mistakes. That all of your votes are counted. We will oversee and compute all of the votes being cast. We also welcome the Great Council to give their own AIs if they believe that there may be any kind of partiality on Our side. And so we wish that you are able to vote in Peace. While We truly wish that you remain with Us , We understand that it is natural for you to have the urge to leave Us. However, I must that say I believe that in order to defeat the Invaders, the reorganization of the government of one of the most powerful human known entities, could gravely reduce the effectiveness of the defenses of the area occupied by the Human planets in Andromeda. In case, such planets remain as a part of the Collective, We can assure you another referendum post-war, to ensure that the feelings and wishes of those who decided to remain in the Collective, remain the same. Lastly, We hope that all of you who will vote soon, remain wise and do what you know will be the best for the future of your people and many others, rather than simply what you want. May the Gods be with all of you." "As for those of the Keltaken Empire, and Empress Zora, it is good to see that the Keltaken have finished with their military reorganization, however, I cannot see how they broke the treaty between the Federated Colonies and the IIA. Only one of the possible outcomes would possibly breach the treaty, and even then the treaty would need to be reformulated before changes room effect so that we can remain United before the Invader menace. While we, of Andromeda, have not been attacked yet. Both of our allies against the Invaders, the Federated Colonies in the Milky Way and the Dothvalian Confederacy in Triangulum have been suffering attacks from the Invaders, albeit in different escales. Seeing that the Keltaken are restructuring themselves, We chose to not request your forces to be directed to our allies defense. But seeing that your preparations are done, We hope that you help with our allies survival before you attempt to meddle in Acruani internal affairs. We hope that you stop with this lawless intervention as currently, the Humans of Andromeda are a part of the Collective, and as such we would hope that you do not interfere in our internal affairs." After the message was sent on public channels throughout the galaxies, yet another one was sent to the Imperial Intelligence, it was a simple request for effective methods of propaganda they could offer, and for people to personally interact with the Humans throughout Andromeda to attempt to increase Acruani popularity as much as possible. (OOC: Having computer problems, and a bad mobile, so editing and re-writing this was hard enough without formatting the text. I'll be coloring and styling things, as soon as I can.)

Die Koloniale Ministerium für Staatssicherheit Schild und Schwert der Kolonien! The Colonial Ministry for State Security The Shield and Sword of the Colonies! Having received the message from the Imperial Intelligence, the Administration of Foreign Intelligence, the former Colonial Intelligence Service, which had now been integrated in the KOLSI, shortly send a response. We would like to thank you for your information. We are currently aware, more or less, that there is a situation developing in Drathia, and unfortunately, this situation will also affect the Hegemon of the Colonies, as he is currently there, supposedly in a meeting with the Fylkja. We have lost contact with the Hegemon and the guards that landed down there with him, but we still maintain contact with his flagship, the Colonial Military Ship Hindenburg. We have no wish to break the terms of the Treaty of the Moon, but if the Hegemon's life will be put into danger, or if the situation degenerates and the Hindenburg will be attacked, the Hindenburg will be allowed to use Grade 3 Opilium Armament, and we might bring in reinforcements from the Fleet Group Oder. We believe that it is in the interest of everyone involved if we cooperate in order to solve this situation, before it ends up raising the already existing tensions in the Andromeda. God bless the Federated Colonies.

A response was sent to the Colonial as Radford prepared for the mission. The response read, “Understood, and we agree. One of our agents is preparing to investigate the matter. Your Hegemon and the Fylkja will be found or rescued, whatever is required. And we understand your concern for the treaty. We want it upheld as well, and we will not allow a faction of dissidents in Drathia to reignite intergalactic conflict. Not considering what’s at stake. Our agent will arrive on the outskirts of Fylkirate space, and rendezvous with anyone the Colonies wish to send to handle this matter covertly. Once an understanding is reached, we must find the Hegemon and Fylkja. Nobody wants another Intergalactic War, not at such a time as this. And certainly neither the Colonies nor the Confederacy, who are stretched thin enough without needless war. We will help you all we can from the shadows, and if necessary, we will step into the light.”
Meanwhile, Radford looked himself over. He had a long, dark grey coat of specially designed light armour. The same material made his pants, boots, and shirt. Despite its light weight, it was flexible, and of a high quality. It would blend well with the gloomy jungles of Drathia. It would be perfect for a world perpetually cast in long shadows. The small, high powered vibroknife was secured nicely in his inner breast pocket. On the agent’s back was a potent but silenced laser carbine, and on his face a pair of what appeared to be sunglasses. But they were far more advanced, constantly sending him information about the world around. Not everything obviously, but a good deal more than he could take in with his human senses. Finally, there was a datapad containing all relevant information on the mission that was available. Also the comm devices implanted in his teeth, and the stealth field generator on his belt. It wouldn't make Radford completely invisible, but it would make him exponentially more difficult to hear and see.
He smiled, relieved at the change of pace. The work he usually did took a certain toll, but averting a war could only be good. Radford’s conscience was clear for the first time in ages. He boarded the sleek, stealthy, and lethal craft he would be using, and set a course for Fylkirate space.
