DCS Spearhead, Confederate Relief Fleet
Knowing that his small fleet would soon exit hyperspace, High Commodore Tom Chard once again checked the star charts. He asked in an uncertain tone to a clustered group of officers, "Navigation? You're sure we've headed in the right direction? Charts show we approach Colonial Territory, but they may be out of date. How do we know this area hasn't been taken over by Invaders?"
"We don't, sir," one of the navigators said. "But this was the last known major Colonial defensive line. If the report from Colonial forces can be trusted, then they should have a presence here. You know, the one saying we hadn't helped the Colonies since Tau Volantis."
"I remember the report quite well, Lieutenant," the Commodore snapped. "That's why we're here after all, our fleet of forty Confederate Devastator battleships loaded to the keel with guns, armour, soldiers, and supplies for the Colonies. Never mind the fact that our home is under attack."
Suddenly, a helmsman said, "Commodore, exiting hyperspace in ninety seconds. Nearly reached the system." A voice in the intercom then said, "All hands, brace for real space!"
Chard hurriedly prepared for the change, and braced himself as the ships exited hyperspace. Always gut wrenching, but Millex refused to add devices to make the return to real space more pleasant. Wasted space, weight, and armour, he said. But his disparaging thoughts of the Head Of Confederate Logistics could wait. For now, he had contact to make.
Chard went to a communication system, and said in an even tone, "Greetings, forces in system. We are a fleet from the Dothvalian Confederacy, here to offer assistance to the Federated Colonies. We bring supplies, weapons, ships, and soldiers. Please respond."

Unfortunately for the Confederates, they had arrived right in the middle of a battle. And even worse, not a battle between the Colonials and the Invaders.
At one edge of the system, there was a large and constant line of the usual Colonial battlestars, with their fighters, destroyers, and other smaller ships. At full power and in one of their normal defensive formations, the Colonials were fighting a large number of smaller ships, that seemed pretty powerful though, bearing the marks of the Terrans, the leaders of the separatists. It was a fight between Colonials and Separatists. Though, it was kinda ironic. A few centuries ago, the Colonials were the separatists, rebelling against the Terrans. And now, the situation was the exact opposite.
The Colonial military formation seemed to be led by the Colonial Military Ship Karlsruhe. The battle was still pretty equal, with none of the sides having a clear advantage. Even if it had lost a large part of their forces fighting the Invaders, the Colonials in Line Terraria were still a powerful force, enough to stop the separatist attacks. While there was no one who could say how the battle was going to end, one thing was sure. The Invaders were eventually going to attack. And if this continued for too long, it would be bad for everyone. But it wasn't like you could reason with the Terrans.
A message was sent from the C.M.S. Karlsruhe To the fleet from the Dothvalian Confederacy, this is the Colonial Military Ship Karlsruhe from die Koloniale Kriegsflotte, Line Terraria. We are currently engaging Separatist forces from the Terran wing of the Fleet of the Confederation of Sol. We're trying to get rid of them before the Invaders will return. Any help would be appreciated.
A message was then also received from the Military Ship of Earth, M.S.E.Améthyste, seemingly for both the Karlsruhe and the Confederates. So, the Colonies are now requiring the help of alien traitors? The Colonies have fallen so much..

Chard smiled at the situation the Confederacy had encountered. It wasn't the first time Confederate ships had entered a different galaxy only to find themselves in the middle of a battle. Such had occurred with the original three Confederate exploration vessels that entered a major battle at the end of the First Intergalactic War. They had been fired upon by Colonial forces, and had allied with the Keltakens to defend themselves.
The situation was the same again. Outnumbered and in the middle of two fighting forces, the Confederacy had returned to the Milky Way for a second time. This time, they would be on the right side of history. Chard replied to the Colonial ship in a warm tone, "Colonial forces, you've nothing to fear from us or these evil Terran seditionists. I am Commodore Thomas Chard of the Dothvalian Confederacy, and I have forty Devastators under my command, starships designed to be on par with your Type III Battlestars. Our forces may be outnumbered, but the seditionists are outgunned. They're no different from the Enemies Of Humanity I faced during the Terror Wars, and I'll take pleasure in seeing they're crushed. I'm moving my fleet to support yours." The Confederate fleet moved into formation with the Colonial ships, and began to power their many laser cannons, concentrating them on the most effective Terran ships. But the gunners didn't fire yet. As for Naval Commandos, they donned their armour, loaded into transports, primed the engines, and waited for an order to launch. But the Confederates made no attack yet, however much they wanted to attack the Terran separatists.
Now Chard prepared to answer the Terran message. He said in a new tone that did nothing to hide his hate, "And so the Abandoners dare address us. Or should I say Terrans? You are to us what the Invaders are to the Colonials, in the days before nightmares became real, that is. Let me start by saying I'm no alien. I am a human being, and I am one of real masters of the Confederacy. Despite the majority of Dothvalians, humans rule in our state. Our Head Of State, Logistics, almost our entire Intelligence force, and most high positions in Confederate Naval Command are filled by humans. Confederate humans. People who give a damn about what happens to the other denizens of the universe, like the Colonials, the Drathians, the Acruani, the Eldari. People not you."
With that, Chard switched to a fleet channel and said enthusiastically, "All hands, open fire! Commandos launch when shields lower, fighters launch now! Gunners, hurt the Terrans and cover the battlestars! God be with you all, and good luck."
Now the Confederate fleet launched their attack.

A fourth fleet jumped in, bearing the marking of Jupiterra. Not the markings of the Jupiterran-Relikan Star Fleet, but purely Jupiterra. A force of three battlecruisers and eighteen cruisers shot in, with their lasers and ballistics aimed at the Colonial and Confederate Fleet.
"So the Council ordered us to fulfill our promise of a mutual defence treaty. Finally, the vanguard of Jupiter, of Jupi-Terra shall reveal itself. Jupiterran Noble Fleet Ship, JNFS Invictor, full speed ahead, aim for the nearest battlestar."
The Invictor-class Battlecruiser roared forward, it's main guns opening fire as the cruisers launched salvos of missiles. Among them, several were the Z.U.R.O.K.I superweapon missile, warheads of kinetic particles designed to shoot through solids upon impact, sonic particles shredding soft materials like flesh and cloth as they sped through the entire ship, slowing only after several bounces. Meant to clear entire battleships of their critical crew and components, the ZUROKI were often banned from use in the Star Fleet, with the missile reserve only kept for show unless the situation called for it.
"Invictor to Améthyste, we have come to honour our alliance in the Sol System."

Colonial Military Ship Karlsruhe
Thank you very much for your assistance, Confederate forces. Our forces in this system will regroup around the Karlsruhe, and launch an attack against the separatist forces. Karlsruhe out.
M.S.E.Améthyste
Human beings or not, you are cowards. Every last of the colonists sent to the Triangulum galaxy knew the risks of such a mission. The first moment Earth was in a little difficulty and couldn't send your precious resources, the Terrans were of course, the bad guys. But you shall see, that when Earth will control the humans again, we'll teach you some respect for the Holy Terra and its forces.
With the arrival of the Confederate forces, the forces of the two sides were now pretty equal, with the balance being slightly against the Terran forces, who stopped their attack and started to regroup around the Améthyste. Soon after that though, the Jupiterran forces arrived, once again pushing the balance of forces a little bit on the side of the Terran forces. It seemed that this battle was going to be a though one for everyone involved.
Welcome, JNFS Invictor. Thank you for honoring our alliance. Let's crush these colonists.
Despite being hit by the ZUROKI missiles, the Colonial battlestarts resisted for now. Their shields were specifically made to absorb anything thrown at them, based on the Klein dimensional field theory. While there was no shade of doubt that those missiles would be extremely dangerous upon hitting a ship- as just proven by some of the smaller Colonial ships that were right now hit by them and had their crews killed, the battlestars resisted, as long as their Klein fields were going to resist. Regrouping with the Confederate forces, the Colonials launched their attacks.
Led by the C.M.S. Karlsruhe, the Colonials started to fire at the enemy forces, precise salvos of their main kinetic and laser batteries dealing as much damage as possible, supported my waves of missiles and torpedoes. Colonial fast fighters, launched in strict squadrons, approached the enemy ships, launched their energetic torpedoes designed to overload the enemy shields as much as possible, and retreated back, doing the same again and again, supporting the main assault.
The Colonial ships also launched a mass strike of Opilium missiles. With the Opilium being so unstable, the missiles using that substance were often regarded as one of the most powerful in the known universe, surpassing nuclear weapons by far. Under the constant attack, the Terran line started to falter a little, many of the first line ships being destroyed by the strike. The fate of the battle was still uncertain.

"Power to forward weapons and shields!" Chard shouted over a fleet comm. "Take it by cutting power from all uninhabited decks. The cargo holds don't need illumination right now, and the bridge consoles have backlit control panels."
Suddenly, the Spearhead was rocked by a potent jolt as lights flickered briefly before returning. But the shields held, and so did the ship. "Engineering! What was that impact?"
"Missile from the Jupiterran ships sir. One Devastator in our group didn't make the changes fast enough, took the full force of the missile. The shields are gone, and their armour is fractured. They'll be dead on the next salvo. A quarter of the other Confederate ships have had their shields weakened, but they're holding for now. The rest made your changes, and so didn't take too much damage. A system offline here and there, but nothing major. We're more or less fine, sir."
Chard listened to the engineer, then gave new orders. He said in a commanding tone, "All ships, concentrate firepower on the Terran fleets, no matter what the other ships throw at you. Our best hope is high quality, even if inferior ships, with numerical superiority and more determined soldiers. Keep firing on the Terran fleet, thin their numbers and support the Colonials. They seem to be making some headway." In the back of his mind, Chard harboured confusion. He was certain that the Confederacy had just made friendly contact and relations with the Jupiterrans. What was going on in this battle? He would have to find out later, when his forces were out of immediate danger.
With that, the Confederate naval officers carried out their orders, determinedly firing at the Terran ships despite the occasional salvo from the enemy fleet. They also switched between normal turbolasers and photon collision rounds. They were huge canisters of compressed photons in a fragile container. Upon firing and making hard contact with an enemy ship, everything in the massive canister was released, and the resulting explosion of energy was distributed all across an enemy ship. They were designed to rapidly deplete shields and damage hulls in a hurry, and were experimental weapons designed for Invader ships. Finally, the Confederates tried to target the same Terran ships as the Colonials, and thereby thin their numbers. And so the battle continued.

A fifth fleet warped in at the edge of the system - A Tal'darim Death Fleet(not the Insurgents, the Protectorate ones). As soon as they came:10 carriers, 40 Destroyers, and 2 Motherships, their ships started spewing out terrazine mists, preventing any radio waves or anything of that sort from reaching the fleet as the mists deflected any radio waves and any targeting system that the Jupiterrans or Terrans might use. As soon they released the first mists, the fleet fired its weapons at the Terran fleet and the Jupiterran fleet and the carriers deployed their robotic fighters. The Terrans and the Jupiterrans will have to shoot blindly to hit any of the fleet.

"Many fighters incoming. Terran fleet taking heavy losses. Current ratio is three to two."
"Let the fighters come closer. Prepare to launch Vortex fighters."
The Vortex, a prototype fighter two generations ahead of the Typhoon, was armed with four laser cannons, two particle cannons, an ion projector and two rail guns. Its internal weapons bay allowed for sixteen Javelins with different warheads. Slightly larger than its predecessor and piloted by three crew, the Vortex was the answer to the excessive Corvette and Frigates, granting the Jupiterrans the ability to focus on capital ships, while the Vortex covers the role of long range patrol and pirate hunting, being a capable gunship by itself.
"Enemy fighters coming in. Prepare... Sundance!"
The heavy batteries fired their lasers, split into thousands of lines, slicing through the interceptor formations.
"Initiate PARDAR."
Particles flew through the mist, as the mist simply being mist could not deflect solidified balls of light. Several Eldarii ships were lit, as the Battlecruisers turned to face them.
"Dissector Mirrors. Fire at will."

The Motherships then created 214 of deceptive mirror images of warships of the Eldari "warping" in to the area. The motherships maunuvered the mirror images a the front of the Colcnials, Confederates, and the Death Fleet. When something hit a mirror image, it "took damage" and shattered away after taking some hits, and the Motherships were intricately mixing their attacks with mirror imaging with the false attacks of the mirror images to decieve the others in the area into thinking that these "reinforcements" were actually attacking. Meanwhile, the destruction of Interceptors did not seem to deter the carriers, as they started building more of them, and soon they replaced most of the destroyed Interceptors whilst building more non-stop.
Meanwhile, in the back, a single Purifier platform, measuring 30 kilometers wide and 10 kilometers tall, warped in. It was much smaller than other platforms or arkships, which usually measured 70-100 kilometers long;however, this one, which happened to be called Electros, is still formidable.

With the never ending swarm, the Jupiterrans did a quick situational report. Hundreds of ships seemed to come out of nowhere, and even tho damage was being done to the Confederate and Colonial ships, it does not bade well for the Sol Fleet. The new fleet seemed untouchable, with limitless craft coming from them.
"Amethyst, recommend retreat to Jupiterra. These forces are dealing more damage to us than we are to them."

A few minutes after the Jupiterrans left, rhe images started dissipating. Apparently, Motherships are unable to support such a large number for more than a few minuates, but it was still effective. Mirror images, a unique scare tactic used by the Tal'darim and Khalai, were often used to deceive the enemy into thinking that they are fighting an undefeatable enemy.
The fleet was commanded personally by the notorious Tal'darim Highlord, Algarak. A comms channel was opened to the Colonials and Confederates, and in a bored, matter of factly voice, Algarak addressed them.

The battle continued, with the Colonial-Confederate forces seemingly gaining more and more ground. The Terrans refused the Jupiterran's initial request to retreat, and continued the fight, even if it seemed futile. Of course, without the knowledge of any of the participants, something was happening back in the Sol System right during the fight.
Eventually, the news reached the Colonial forces in the system, and much to everyone's surprise, they broke combat, regrouping in their own lines and stopping fire.
"Attention, to all Terran and Jupiterran forces in the system. A few hours ago, the High Commands of the forces of the United Earth and of the Jupiterran Government's forces have signed their complete capitulation to the forces of the Federated Colonies and of the Jupiterran and Relikan Star Fleet. The War is over. Please obey the decisions of your superiors and surrender. You shall be treated as honorable prisoners of war, in complete accordance with all intergalactic laws, and with the terms of the surrender."

JNSF Invictor
The Admiral stood as he saw the news of surrender on his own hologram. Opening a direct channel to the Colonies, the Jupiterran ships turned to face them head on, their modular weapon turrets reverting to their original positions. The shields soon powered down, as the ships came to a complete stop.
"Federated Colonial Fleet, we honour the surrender of our commanders. The ships of the Jupiterran Noble Star Fleet would be under the jurisdiction of the Colonial forces bar any special terms in the surrender." The Admiral knew that this would be the outcome ever since Sol began their offensive, with the Jupiterran Government seeking the easier way out by allying with neighbours, instead of the predicted victors.

Following the message of the Colonial Fleet, the Terran ships also stopped their attack, reorganizing, but keeping their weapons down. A message was sent to the Colonials just as the Terran ship came to a stop.
"To the Colonial ships in the system... we will follow the decision of our commanders, and the 456th Fleet of Earth, commanded by the MSE Amethyste shall also surrender."
Unlike their comrades in Sol, these specific Terran forces didn't seem to be that bloodthirsty or fanatic, probably composed mainly of ships from the planets out of Sol that were under Earth's jurisdiction.
The Colonial Military Ship Karlsruhe responded to both fleets.
"The CMS Karlsruhe is accepting the surrender of its enemies in the name of the Federated Colonies. In accordance with the terms of the surrender, all Jupiterran ships at citizens will be escorted and surrendered to the forces of the Jupiterran and Relikan Star Fleet. All Terran ships captured will be considered prisoners of war, and will be disarmed and treated as sorts. You took the wise decision, commanders. The war is over."
The Colonial ships then started to take position around the Jupiterran ships, as they were going to lead them to Jupiterra, and the others started to board the Terran ships. The battle was over. The war was over. The Federated Colonies and their allies had won the Third Secession War.
