Alexander remained quiet for a few moments, listening to Gavin's words, before he answered. "Go on...", the young Colonial said, a little suspicious. "How exactly could she achieve more that she currently can, and... unsuppress her subconsciousness?". The black haired man wasn't exactly trusting this Relikan, but at least, it was worth a short. He could at least listen to what he was going to say.

"This... Cybergenius program, was created when centuries back, when the Jupiterran Government realised that their kind, not simply earthlings, could be born of a higher intellect. Whether it was Jupiter, or some other phenomenon, we do not know. But we do know that the subconsciousness could be used, be developed. Imagine an entire army being controlled without the need of further communication. Orders and operations being done on the spot by one person, according to that person's will. No miscommunication, no screwing up."
Holding up a golden hairband, Gavin passed it to Alexander. "Your lady's hairband. Maybe you can keep it. This gadget locks her potential. Cybergeniuses were thought to be the next generation of commanders, of strategic planners. However, such power was identified as exploitable by Star Admiral Augustine Relikai, the First Star Admiral. He left the Cybergenius Program to the descendants of the Star Fleet, so we could decide during our time, whether to use them to their fullest, or protect them from being exploited by the Government, which as you said, has become corrupt. It's a cycle, Star Admiral."
Handing Alexander a small holographic projector, the Colonial could see a ship. Larger than any he has seen, even larger than the Constructor, a small note below the object states - Silverian-Class Flagship. The Kongou was about a tenth of it's size, and one could estimate it's length to be nearly two hundred kilometers, with countless gun ports and hangar bays.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures, and we're going to use all we have to defeat the Invaders, and clear up the mess of our cousins. Although we of the Relikan Star Fleet are not saints, nor claim to be, you do not have to fear us. We do not seek to exploit your lady, even if she turns out to be someone of incredible power. Her life is hers to decide. That is why..." Gavin sighed as he took a cup of coffee.
"We shall help you... no, we will help you. We of the Relikan Star Fleet, shall aim to spearhead a breakthrough into Jupiterra, free Star Admiral Gaius Silverheart, and place overall command of the Star Fleets into one. Then, we shall fight the Invaders. I'm sure our experience will prove most useful against the True ones, although we appreciate an easier fight from time to time."
The glass began to flash, and the Flagship on the Projector began to move.
"Her subconsciousness was limited to a single battlecruiser, or that battlecruiser docked with us, in combat mode... Let's see her control a flagship. If she could master this machine, Shimazaki Haruna will be a crucial factor against the Invaders..."
An hour later, Gavin held Alexander back as he guided a barely-conscious Haruna out of the testing chamber. Gently, he handed the girl over to the Colonial, together with a wet towel.
"We'll analyze the results. Our preparations are still undergoing... say twenty more hours, unless the Invaders choose to attack us he-"
A boom, and a siren rang along the Starbase. Something was not right, but Gavin did not seem perturbed.
"A routine attack. We have it handled properly. Any Invader attack in our ambush point would end up in failure. It's the attacks which comes right in our faces which we should be aware of. Take care of your lady, there is a private lounge four doors down. This is the key, I'll see you in several hours."
Alexander could only watch as Gavin and his team walked to another room, as Haruna coughed slightly.
"I... I'm alright... just... tired..." She said, looking at her Admiral with a weak smile.

Alexander remained silent as he listened to what Gavin was saying. Even if he wasn't exactly able to admit it, the Relikan was somehow right. The Colonies, and probably everyone else who was fighting the Invaders, were facing an excessive lack of military personnel. If people who were able to control ships as big as that, probably somewhere around the rumored H Klasse Battlestars in terms of size, it could be enough to even the odds, maybe a little, but it would still be something. It would be clear that even the Colonies themselves would be interested in something like this. But... forcing the people who would have this capability was simply wrong. Just like with Haruna. Invaders or not, everyone had the right to live a normal life.
As the test began, Alexander started to watch, a little nervously. Controlling such a big ship... would she be able to handle it? It was only a simulation, yeah, but that ship was simply gigantic. And having only one person control it, only one mind.. Haruna was amazing, but still, it could be too much even for her. As the test continued, the young Colonial felt a certain nervousness. Luckily though, the test ended without anything bad happening to Haruna.
As Gavin guided Haruna out of the test chamber, Alexander saw that she was barely conscious, probably because of the great effort she had to make. The black haired man only managed to take the wet towel that Gavin handed to him, before the alarms rang. Even if the Relikan ensured them that it was something on an routine battle, Alexander was a little worried, since after all, you could never be sure about what the Invaders were doing. But even so, Alexander chose not to show it. The Relikan looked extremely calm before he left, and the Colonial wasn't going to give Haruna any more reasons to be worried.
"Look at you. You're not okay. You're barely conscious.", Alexander said as he sighed. Since he was the one who convinced Haruna to do this, he did partially responsible for this. It was clear that the golden eyed girl had overexerted herself. The young Colonial simply picked her up and carried her to the room the Relikan had told them about, before she would be able to pass out. That was the least he could do. Arriving in the room, Alexander gently placed her on the bed, dragged a chair next to it and sat down, taking the wet towel and lightly pressing it on her forehead. "You should rest a little.", Alexander told her, a little worried. "You did good, but it's obvious that you're tired. Don't worry, I'll be here. Just sleep a little."

Even when she's feeling exhausted and could hardly keep her eyes open, Haruna gave Alexander a smile as she held on to his hand. The test, the trial, controlling the beast of the craft, has initially overwhelmed her. However, after several minutes, Haruna managed to control herself, although the multitude of controls were still overwhelming. She could feel her full potential, her full brain being put to use, but she also felt fear, for that was the first time she could control nearly entire fleets, an entire base.
It was like becoming an AI herself.
Haruna, lying on the bed while breathing slowly, caught Alexander's attention be squeezing his hand lightly.
"Stay with me..." She murmured. Still perspiring from the mental exertions, Haruna slightly motioned for Alexander to come closer.
"It's still... too hot... help me out of this uniform..."

"W-what?", Alexander said, thoroughly surprised. It was clear that she was probably feeling pretty hot after such an effort. That's why he was trying to cool her down with that wet towel. But doing something like this.. "Are you sure? I mean..", the young Colonial weakly tried to protest, but the fact that Haruna was holding hand, and that she really seemed to perspire from the heat, stopped him from further trying to protest. " O-okay.", he said, taking a deep breath, while blushing heavily.
Alexander started by unbuttoning and taking down her coat, before helping her with her shirt, and then moving to the lower side, all while furiously blushing.

Just as Alexander reached the last button, Haruna placed a hand over his, removing it from her self as she shrugged her top off, pushing her jacket and shirt off the bed.
"Umm... that... much better now..." Haruna muttered as she turned slightly away from Alexander, hiding her chest from him as it was only covered by her undergarment. With a little effort, and seemingly forgetting Alexander was here, Haruna also tossed her skirt and boots to the side as she slowly curled up to sleep. Still, she was perspiring as the toll of the test continued to drain her energy, her nearly bare body glistening with sweat as the heat inside her continued to burn. The room itself wasn't too cold, comfortable for her to sleep in her current... attire.
"Alexander..." The Colonial could hear her call. "If you wanna get on... I'll let you hold me. You should get a proper rest too."
From her tone, the Colonial might be able to sense the nervousness in her voice, especially when Haruna was blushing furiously, with a slight smile on her face.

Sarah looked at the Tetanis, before tapping into the terminal next to her. A small chip soon popped out as she handed it to the man.
"I believe all the data you seek is present inside. Of course, these drinks could be mixed around, a versatile choice in case of allergies."
Turning to the Nagusi, the Star Admiral nodded.
"Yes, we've detected your fleet several systems away. A commendable effort, but for this sector, few planets remain habitable due to war and resource exploitation. We do not know much of your race, however, given that we keep to ourselves. Question now is... are you all aware of the Invader activity happening around here for the past century or so? This is a critical question..."

"Get..on?", Alexander asked, unsure if he had understood it right. Maybe, but even so.. the Colonial also started to blush a little harder. Well, that was only natural. After all.. she was only wearing her undergarments.
Gulping, Alexander suddenly started to feel that the room was hot, even if strangely, the temperature in the room was normal. Trying to calm himself down, he took a deep breath while he took his white coat down. Really hoping that this was what Haruna had meant, he sat down on the bed next to her, but hesitating to do anything else, and trying to remain calm. It wasn't the first time the two of them had been in a bed tkgy, but tpit was the first time she was.. like this.

Haruna felt the mattress compress a little as Alexander lay beside her. Part of her was at peace, glad for his presence, while another was excited at what he was going to do next. However, her anticipation soon died down as the two humans simply lay down on the bed.
Sighing, Haruna turned to face Alexander, ignoring his sudden stare at her assets, before saying.
"It's not good for a girl to always take the lead you know..." She whispered, her face with a serious expression. "Remember my words? sometimes... or most of it... I'm waiting for you to try something special... but of course, no intercourse." Sighing, Haruna turned back to face the wall. "It would be nice to have someone holding me. After all, these nightmares may not be chased away by myself."
A short silence, before Haruna whispered into the air.
"Unless you don't like holding me, that is..."
Even tho the words were harsh, Haruna's tone was adjusted that Alexander would sense a challenge, rather than a complain. Although any girl would be frustrated at the indecisiveness of her partner, Haruna has fully understood Alexander's standing. Instead, this was her challenge for him to take the lead.

The tiny Tetanis has to jump a little to get the data chip off her, at which point he turns his attention documenting the architecture around him.
The Nagusi keeps his attention on Sarah, however.
"No, we are not aware of anything by the name of 'Invaders.' We have kept to ourselves, expanded carefully, and haven't an enemy in sight. The few alien races we've come across, such as the Tetanis here with me, have been peaceful, and agreed to live under our rule."

Alexander sighed hearing that, but managed to gather his courage. It wasn't necessarily his fault after all. Having spent most of his recent life in the military.. it wasn't like anyone insisted on things like these, or that they were allowed to have relationships back in the military academy. That's why he was still hesitating sometimes. But, not now.
As Haruna was now with the back at him, facing the wall, Alexander held her from behind, feeling a lot more calmer than before. The way she worded that last sentence, it sounded more like a challenge. And he liked challenges. "Why would I don't like holding you?", the black eyed man asked, smiling.

"I see." Sarah muttered. Well, right in front of her was a space-worthy race without knowledge of the greatest hell about to befall the known Universe, and were yet expanding in their technologies in a respectable rate. Their military was suspect, tho, as calculations figured that the Chimera itself could lay siege to an entire system of the Nagusi.
But as some said, the Pen is greater than the Sword.
"Well, then, let us forget about this Invader business for a while... instead, let us hear your proposition!"
"Because... Because you've yet to understand how lucky you are..." Haruna said playfully as she turned to face Alexander again, this time not covering any part of herself, allowing her partner to take in all of her body.
"...to have me." Giving Alexander's nose a playful tap, Haruna closed her eyes as she began to feel the sleep set in.
"Alexander, hold me... Hold me as I sleep... It feels much more comforting to have you here..." Haruna whispered, before drifting off to sleep.

"We don't have a proposition. We're here observing and documenting for the sake of our negotiators. Hence his curiosity about everything."
The Nagusi gestured over to the Tetanis, inspecting everything.

Alexander smiled as Haruna playfully tapped his nose. Yeah, he was indeed lucky.. As Haruna started to fall asleep, Alexander held her, and waited for her to fall asleep first. After she fell in the sleep she so much deserved, Alexander, also feeling sleepy, eventually also fell asleep, still holding her. Hopefully, he wasn't going to have any nightmares.

"Alright..." Sarah said cautiously. "So what are you all here to negotiate for? Give me a reason why I'm allowing you on board to have an audience, to learn the basics of us."
It wasn't that Sarah wanted, or even liked to be assertive, but if alien guests are coming onboard on the request for diplomacy, and they are now saying that they do not have a proposition, this meeting was a waste of time.
Jupiterrans, Reavers, especially Sarah, hated wasting time.
"You came on board with a purpose. If I do not hear of this purpose, there remains little room for diplomacy."
