The Report of the Colonial Armed Forces
Greetings, citizens of the Federated Colonies, citizens of the galaxies, comrades in our just fight against the Invaders. Just like usual, we are going to start the weekly Streitenkräftenbericht, with news about the situations on both the battle and the home front. Let's begin.
With the help of their galactic allies, the Colonial Armed Forces have managed to stop the advance of the Invaders on multiple segments, heavy battles being fought right now in order to stabilize the front. With more and more resources coming from the home front, and with more and more ships being upgraded on Type IV, the Invaders are slowly starting to lose their advantage, giving us more and more hopes for the Final Victory.
With the help of its Jupiterran allies, the GS-67 Flotte, led by the CMS Tirpitz and the CMS Seydlitz have scored a major victory against the Invaders, massacring an entire Invader fleet and destroying their Red Marker, temporarily stopping their offensive in the area. While their victory is only a small piece in the overall front, this gives signs that the Invaders continue to underestimate us, allowing us to hit them hard when they don't expect. The entire Colonies are of course, extremely thankful to our allies, the Star Fleet.
As the direct consequence of the last battles, Alexander Karl Werther, the former Kapitän of the CMS Prinz Eugen, has been promoted from Admiral der Flotte to Großadmiral der Kolonien. Der Großadmiral Werther has proven himself in multiple battles, including a secret mission in cooperation with the Star Fleet, and for that, he was proposed for der Kriegskreuz II. Klasse.
Meanwhile, the fight against the traitorous Separatists continues. The Colonial Fleet is leading a successful assault against the enemy Terran forces, earning victory after victory. With the enemy forced on the defense, the Colonial forces are closing in to the main Separatist base on Alpha Centari. The defeat of those traitors draws near, and the Kreuz und die Sternen will soon wave over Terra.
On the home front, the people of the Colonies are fighting with the same bravery as the soldiers. The production of ammunition and supplies is up beyond any expectations. Almost 40% of the ships currently used by the Colonial Fleet have been upgraded to Type IV. More ships are built and soldiers are trained every day, ready to be sent as reinforcements to our lines. The day of the Endsieg is near.
Unfortunately, since, except from the forces that engaged in Tau Volantis, the help from our intergalactic allies has been small and inconsistent, many citizens have started to question the necessity of the Intergalactic Armada, and the decision of the Hegemon and of the Parliament to ally the Colonies with our former enemies, the Drathians, the Acruani, and the Confederates. The fact that the Keltakens have completely refused to help also doesn't help. Even if right now, the Invaders are focusing in the Milky Way, their time will come too, and let's hope that they will pay. Meanwhile, the people have started to protest, asking for the Federated Colonies to retreat from the Intergalactic Armada. The Hegemon and the Central Oberkommando still have to comment on this.
