He was a hero, that much was known among the peoples of Jupiterra. Five hundred years ago, Star Admiral Augustine Relikai and the Jupiterran Star Fleet turned their backs on the order to help Jupiterra gain independence, to face the pirate blockade surrounding their home. Augustine was branded a traitor and ordered to be arrested, but the Star Fleet stood by their Commander. The Commander of the greatest fleet in the Solar System, even Terra could not lift a finger to them. Finally, the defeat of the Intergalactic Raider Fleet allowed Augustine to present himself as a traitor to the Nobility. However, it was the officers of the Star Fleet who now surrounded the Palace. The Nobility has no military, the Star Fleet was their military. The Nobility fell, the Military took over, Augustine Relikai took twenty four ships and jumped into the unknown.
"Pretty nice story." Gaius Silverheart snickered. His hands in static chains, the Star Admiral was wearing a simple shirt and pants, the attire of a prisoner.
"Shut up, prisoner. Traitor." A soldier wearing the uniform of the Jupiterran Military Police said as he knocked the man with his rifle. Stumbling, Gaius simply shrugged. He did what he had to, and he knew that any price that he has to pay was well warranted. Whether the actions deserved a price, that was debatable. "You hid the idol of Jupiterra onboard a warship. She was a god, a higher being, to the people." The soldier continued. Giving him a death stare, Gaius stood, before looking at the soldier in the eye.
"I gave a girl a chance to live. A chance to be away from stalkers, people who use her image, her dignity, for whatever they want, for profit, for hedonistic purposes. Jupiterra was built on hard work and a spirit being driven forward by sheer will. The Star Fleet was seeing society die, because of a single girl."
"She was holding up the lives of billions!"
"She deserved her own path!" Gaius roared, just before the other soldier, watching silently the whole time, sent an electric shock through the Star Admiral. Collapsing onto the ground, Gaius' body smoked, the electrical currents strong enough to cook flesh. Shaking his head, Gaius slowly stood up again, now just looking forward, just as the prisoner ship docked with a Jupiterran cruiser.
"It would seem that many things happened in Jupiterra when I was away."
"And many more would happen when you are back. Now go in there and enjoy the ride scum. We'll bring the other woman to accompany you soon, if she could walk again."
