As the Invaders made their way through the jungle following their narrow escape, rustles in the foliage are heard as what's left of the Bloodbeaks emerged in front of them. Their numbers are thin; only 6 still stand, each coated with blood and fresh scars, though hey look unfazed by their states. One of them, unique in that he is wearing several claws on his back on a crude harness, steps forward, the remaining five dropping to one knee with heads down. Theone still standing then speaks in English, using a shrill tone, almost akin to a screech:
"Star-Striders, what a glorious bloodbath you wrought upon us this day! Truly, we were right in believing that you would show yourselves one day, and lead us to the Great Hunt amongst the stars! We, the Bloodbeaks, mightiest tribe of the Sein'Hae people, will gladly shed blood in your honour! We wish to lead you to our settlements, so that we may feast in your name, and the bloody rain you shall drench the stars with!"
He then dropped to one knee like the others, keeping his head down as he awaited the Invader's response.

Having natives speak to them in Galactic Standard was surely a surprising thing for the Invaders, not only because of the language in which the natives were speaking, and not only because they dropped to one knee in front of them, but also because they spoke to them. In general, the Invaders were instilling fear in the minds of everyone around them. Of course, most of the Invaders, more specifically the resurrected ones, weren't showing anything, but the others, including Sigma, did look a little surprised.
Under normal circumstances, the Invaders would have simply killed the natives and turned them into some of them, but this time, Sigma had decided that it would be better to try to cooperate with them. Stepping forward from the group of Invaders, the dark pink eyed Invader girl spoke for all the white, pale "Star-Striders"
"You made a good choice, when you helped us, natives.", Sigma responded, still in Galactic Standard."For that, we will go and feast with you and your settlements. And after that, we can thank you by helping you slaughter your enemies."

The Bloodbeaks stood back up, raising a fist to the air and letting out a victorious shriek.
"You shall not regret this, Star-Striders! The other tribes will flock to us,or be slaughtered!"
And so they led the Invaders to their own villages, buried amongst a former battlefield and series of caves. Plenty of dead, mostly beasts being used as food or bones used as macabre walls and traps. Like all villages, its hidden from sight until one steps into it.

The Drathian front line was battered by a last ditch artillery assault from the retreating Abyssal forces, but despite the 110 casualties, more than half their number, the Drathians managed to hold the position. That was more valuable than any losses they could have taken. The tired soldiers slowly withdrew to higher ground to avoid the gigantic beast prowling the field of dead, instead preferring to set up camp on a small hill. The soldiers, while drained of much of their ammunition and energy, still had enough in them to secure a small perimeter. Energy shield barriers were put up whilst Drathians began to set up tents and fires.
An exhausted Krix removed his helmet as he approached one of the Sein'Hae that had been so vital in the Drathian victory with a bow. He fell to his knees, drawing a small, crude picture of two men holding eachother hand in hand, their free hands carrying raised spears in the dirt. He pointed to himself, then at the Sein'Hae, and finally at the picure, as if to signify that he was indeed friendly. Afterwards, he pointed to the still in-construction camp then to the Sein'Hae with a shrug. He knew that with their current numbers, the Drathians could in no way fend off another Invader attack. That is why he was inviting the natives into the Drathian compound. If they were to keep the planet safe enough for the Sein'Hae to modernize, then they would have to work together.

The Sein'Hae knelt down by the Drathian, as did his remaining comrades as they gathered on the Drathian's position. They immediately offered their services, understanding what needed to be done and quickly mobilised their hunters to start helping set up defences, their remaining giant insects were especially useful as heavy labour. They chose not to attempt much communication or celebration right now, for the battle meant that their planet was under attack. Three messengers were sent to nearby tribes, to start rallying troops to assist in the Drathian's efforts, also informing them of the Bloodbeak's treachery.
During this event, 16 more Sein'Hae showed up, different from the Vinecrawlers. They wore pieces of sophisticated armour along with their tribal garbs, utilisied advanced weaponry and tactics, and even carried strangely advanced equipment such as thermal scanners, torches and shields. These were MetalShell hunters, lucky enough to have captured a large crashed supply barge filled with armaments and allied to most other clans due to how dangerous they would be as enemies. They advanced on the Drathian's position, purposefully revealing themselves so as to secure an unspoken alliance with the Drathians. Amongst their ranks was a medical specialist, who was willing to tend to the wounded with more than crude tribal medicine and herbs like the Vinecrawlers.

Rafael woke up in the night, his ankle not hurting as much anymore. He could stand without feeling any pain, which he did, taking a few steps around the hut. Seeing that it's dark outside, Rafael did not make too much noise as he simply returned to his seat. Ahuna was nowhere to be found, which Rafael considered it normal, knowing that it would be awkward for a male and female, not bonded by marriage, to sleep in private. A note on his handset told him that the squad members had went to sleep early, and that the Jupiterran Cruiser has come under Invader attack, and was deemed unsafe to return to until further notice. Commander Klaudius was safe, and has taken cover in the wreck which they were pulling apart.
Sighing, Rafael took out his hologram as he began to play a scene of his Typhoon traveling in space. Not the best pilot, but passable, Rafael has always dreamed of taking a girl with him up in the fighter. Maybe when this is over, he might have the chance.

Ahuna had gone out into the village, to see to a hunting party that had returned from checking on the wrecked ship that they had liberated. The news there was good at least, the Star-Striders had breached new areas of the ship, and the hunters still stationed that way had made attempts at scavenging small amounts, primarily looking for arms and terminals with information on. Additionally, she had decided to obtain some new gear, taking a torn, ragged red short skirt and sleeveless shirt, along with a chitin pauldron and a charred longsword with a thin blade from the scavenge hut, a building in which scavenged items are kept and distributed.
She made her way back to her hut, a strap keeping her sword on her back. She was surprised to see Rafael up at this time when she entered, setting her sword aside for now as she moved over beside him.
"Rafael, you're awake..! Is your foot okay..?"

Rafael heard Ahuna come in as he sat on the chair to rest. "Ah yes, I'm feeling much better, thanks to you and your massage." Rafael said as he gave Ahuna a smile.
Seeing her weapons and dressing, it just seemed odd.
"Ahuna... Why're you dressed like that? Won't it be hard on your movement if you had to fight?"

The Invaders, led by Sigma, followed the natives to their village, who was on Sigma's taste, looking so macabre. They now had to prepare for the next combat with the Drathians, Eldari and Jupiterrans, because that one was going to be decisive. And Sigma had no intention to lose. They just had to wait for the reinforcements.. before this entire planet could be soaked in blood. "So, please give me a little explanation.", Sigma said." Do you know where we could found other villages that might be sheltering other.. Star-Striders? They're our enemies, and we want to destory them. "

Ahuna looked down at her attire, then back to him.
"Well.. If we're going to fly on your Star-Strider soon... I wanted to look a bit less... wild, I guess. Plus, I kindof like this garb, and I'm hoping that we wont be doing much fighting in the meantime. As for the sword, I got it to replace my spear that I lost.. I sorta know how to handle it. Luckily it isn't too heavy."
----------------------------
"We know that the Vinecrawlers are housing Striders, and wont be willing to join us without a fight. They reside that way, in the swamps of this jungle."
He gestured to the South West, before turning to a pack of hunters nearby.
"You, go scout out as many tribes as you can! Find any Star-Striders that you can!"

"Aye, with that body of yours, it would seem kind of awkward holding that spear." Rafael said as he used his hands to create a curving shape of Ahuna's body, before he realised that his eyes were locked onto her pale legs. Immediately, he tried to look away as he gave an awkward cough.
"So, Ahuna, why have you not slept yet? I'm thinking that you must have been exhausted... It's been a long day."

An awkward blush crossed her face as Rafael pointed out her figure, rubbing the back of her head nervously.
"Well... I've been sleeping already because of that dart... Even if I hadn't, this whole ordeal has put a lot on my mind.. Getting good sleep is hard."
Ahuna moved over to crouch down, checking on Rafael's foot with a delicate touch, so as to not hurt him. Satisfied that his foot was better, she moved onto her bed, sittig down beside Rafael.

"Ah... we humans usually dont experience rest under sedatives... or poisons from the dart..."
Smiling as Ahuna checked his ankle, Rafael placed his hand on Ahuna's as she sat on the bed next to him. Some time passed, with the both of them not saying much. Rafael would also prefer Ahuna to take the bed, it wasn't good for a guy, regardless of status, to hog everything.
"Ahuna, you're thinking of something? You seem disturbed... or nervous... is the attack still affecting you?"

Ahuna nodded, looking down at the ground.
"Yeah, it's bothering me. The appearance of Star-Striders should be bringing us together, not pushing us apart. By the way.. when will we get to travel to the stars with you? I've heard from the hunters, and your other Star-Striders are still at the wreck we captured."
She shifted her gaze to him, moving a little closer and gripping his hand tightly.

Blushing a little when Ahuna closed in, Rafael sighed.
"Unfortunately, not all Star Striders are good. Some are bad, some seek to destroy others. We were attacked by some other Star Striders which I am sure are still in this place, and whenever they remain alive, no one is safe." Feeling Ahuna's grip on his hand, Rafael smiled as he looked at the girl. Her exotic features were always accentuated with the dresses or skirts she wore. Rafael took a moment to consider her second question.
"In a few days, we will find what we need from the wreck. Then we will head to space. I do not know how many of your tribe we can bring, but I sure do have space for the girl next to me."
