In order to avoid cluttering up the Applications section with these minor races that hold little power or influence, I will be posting each race application to this one thread. Additionally, to help keep track of these applications this first post will also be used to keep a list of each race posted and whether they are pending, accepted or not. I welcome anyone else with similar race apps, primarily non-spacefaring, to post them here if they so wish. Just copy the application form from the regular application thread, add a name and get posting!
Accepted Races: Quadrons Sein'Hae Galaraxians Xir Wakura Tetanis Brie Celduri Hydroxyls Bylik
Pending Races:
Denied Races: Leivexinia

A wonderful idea for a thread! I was considering making one myself, but I'm glad that the community has stepped up to do things on their own. (They grow up so fast!)

Name: Galaraxians Homeworld: Galarax - Also known as 'The Dark', Galarax is a large planet primarily made of stond and sand, alternating between rocky plains and mountains to rolling deserts. Under the planets' surface, massive tunnel networks exist, having been built by a long dead species of worm eons ago. These tunnels house the expansive cities of the Galaraxians, which can extend for miles on end, with sprawling walkways and overhangs connecting each side and the ceiling together. As such, bullet trains have been implimented into the dead centre of each tunnel; these trains run day and night, ferrying thousandsof people constantly all over the tunnels. Deposits of iron and other such metals are found all over the planet, and serve as Galarax's primary exports which they trade in exchange for protection and developmental advances.
Allegiances: Federated Colonies (if possible)
Lifespan: 55 years at most. They breed fast and die fast. Appearance: Galaraxians are tall, insect-like creatures, with an exo-skeletal body coloured a sandy brown hue, to blend into their environment. Their heads are equipped with 4 hyper-reactive eyes and a set of 2 powerful mandibles for consuming food. Their arms and torsos are typical of most humanoids, save for the thin shells upon their backs which serve as a pair of insect-like wings to help them navigate the treacherous terrain of their homeworld. Certainly the oddest feature of a Galaraxian is the legs; despite thick thighs, the forelegs are merely lengthy points which have a minor degee of flex to them. These legs are used to latch onto surfaces that they can dig into, allowing for them to scale certain walls and ceilings. Abilities: Ability to latch onto walls and ceilings Can fly for brief periods Incredible sprinting speed Resistant to heat, vulnerable to cold Other: Bullet trains and mining equipment some of their only technological advances, all peovided to them by the Colonies to make mining easier.

Name: Sein'Hae (Pronounced Sen-Ae) Homeworld: Endovul II, a small moon of a gas giant, Endovul II is mostly comprised of dense, hilly woodlands and jungles, yet has a number of large deserts and plateaus scattered across its surface. Vicious alien predators and equally dangerous herbivores roam the moon, and a number of ancient metal structures and ship husks also dot the moons' surface, largely matching in style suggesting an ancient alien race was present on the moon. These foreign features have all been infested by wildlife or taken over by the Sein'Hae.
Allegiances: They typically only trust themselves, although alien visitors may change their minds.
Lifespan: 40 - 90 years Appearance: The Sein'Hae bear a striking resemblance to humans in their overall shape, although males of the species are roughly half a mater taller than the average human whilst females are about 1/6 meter shorter. Their skin is a greyish hue with only a hint of pink to it. Most Sein'Hae are muscular and athletic, capable of feats of agility achievable by only the most well trained humans. Additionally, their hair is similar to that of a humans, although colours range only from white to black. The heads of the Sein'Hae are also home to a set of lengthy, jagged ears, which are adept at picking up distant and quiet sounds in the jungles of their home. Little else separates them from a human visually, save for notably sharper teeth, likely due to the Sein'Hae's preference for meat as a source of food over anything else. Abilities: Their senses and reflexes are sharper due to a lifetime of hunting and surviving Adept hunters and acrobats, Sein'Hae would also make good assassins and spies if used and trained correctly. (Hint Hint) Skilled at using the leftover technology that they have found amongst the remains of the alien ships and structures, including the ability to speak several Earth languages. Other: The alien remains on the moon belong to a species of Grey that visited Earth back in the 21st Century. They were reportedly spotted only twice in North Yorkshire, England, before never showing up again.

Name: Xir Homeworld: Xelaphir, with a size roughly that of Earth and a yearly cycle lasting 211 earth days, is a war-ravaged planet. Xelaphir's surface is largely desolated plains, the ruins of cities and settlements or the toxic-belching, still operating cities of the Xir. Very littl elife outside the planet, and the life that does thrive is putrid and feral. The planet is an unpleasant sight to behold, ruined by the Xir's savage, war-loving ways, and the only thing that would make the planet worth taking over was the large amount of metals within the planet, currently being harvested en masse by the Xir and their enslaved workforces. Allegiances: They serve only themselves Lifespan: Up to 80 earth years, though life expectancy is through the floor, so few make it past 40. Appearance: Large, intimidating beasts, towering over the common human, the Xir have some resemblance to the apes of Earth, with dark brown fur over most of their tough, powerful forms and sharp teeth within their large maws. They run on all 4's, though are capableof standing on their legs and using their arms to hold things. They typically only wear armoured plating or rugged garbs over their upper torsos, rarely anything else.
Abilities: They're big, they're tough, they're strong, they're incredibly stupid. Their scientific accomplishments have come only from the occassional Xir that isn't a complete moron surviving long enough to actually make something, and from stealing it from the other sentient race on the planet, which they have completely wiped out in a long and bloody war. Their lack of intelligence also means that they lack any tactics beyond running at stuff and shooting it, so they're not too hard to fight against. Other: Most of their diet consists of eating the dead, the weak and the still alive. Both their own dead, weak and alive and anything they go to war with. Did I mention they're dumb as rocks?

Name: Wakura Homeworld: Zoln 5, a very small planet in the same solar system as Xelaphir, with a yearly cycle of about 53 days, it is mostly comprised of water, though many small islands exist, once home to the numerous cities of the Wakura. These have recently been destroyed by the Xir invasion, and as such there is little left on the planet but ruins and what remains of their natural resources; metals similar to that of Xelaphir, which are quickly being gathered and used by the Xir. Allegiances: None yet. There's nothing left in the solar system to ally with. Lifespan: 130 years at most. Though war has cut this number down to half for most Wakura, if not lower. Appearance: Humanoids with a short, lithe build, the Wakura have largely lost any proper strength or toughness they might have once had thanks to many, many years of peacetime. As such, they are quite frail, and certainly not the most agile creatures in the galaxy. They all have sandy brown skin, and hair can grow lengthy much like a humans. Hair colours also range from blacks to reds and browns, and eye colours are almost always red, with onky a few exceptions of brown. Many Wakura also grow slight feet and hand claws, though these are slowly growing shorter through evolution, as they are not needed. Abilities: Other than being decently smart and loyal, the Wakura have no abilities that make them stand out whatsoever. Unskilled in war and used to peace and luxury, they are pretty weak, harmless and weak-willed in spite of their loyal attitude. Other: Their remaining population is in disarray due to war, and so they are weaker than ever right now.

Homeworld: Aiur, the Eldari homeworld Allegiances: Eldari Protectorate/Neutral Lifespan: 700-900 years Appearance: Hydroxyls appears as beings of pure water, with two vague green glowing eyes and a hulking body that can assume any shape. They usually appears as ghostly looking floating water torrents. Abilities: They can assume any shape in their will, and they can also travel through land. They never go dry. They also have psionic abilities similar to the Eldari. Other: Despite their waterlike appearance, they have some serious technology.

Name: Tetanis Homeworld: Ayuum, a planet almost entirely consisting of water, with only some islands dotted about. Lightning storms are unceasing, though the Tetanis have built large megacities that harness the power of the lightning. Allegiances: They now serve under the Nagusian Corporations Lifespan: 190 years maximum Appearance: Tetanis are short, blue skinned humanoids that barely reach the height of a human's stomach, Tetanis have only recently lost their scales through their evolution into a land-based species, though still possess both fins and webbed hands and feet. These features are starting to recede though, and it believed that in the next 2000 years they will have lost all aquatic features. The eyes of a Tetanis bulge out from the socket, are exceptionally large and completely black. Additonally, all Tetanis possess sharp teeth, as theyare a predatory race with a diet of fish and other sea creatures. Abilities: Excellent swimmers Rather intelligent Nimble and vicious fighters when necessary. Small and frail, so do prefer to avoid combat. Other: Non-spacefaring Due to their technological advancements, the Nagusi closely monitor the Tetanis to ensure that they don't develop to a point where they attempt to push for independence. The Tetanis' advancements in power generation and their planet have allowed the core Nagusian planets to develop into the gargantuan cities that they are. They also provide top of the line aquatic gear such as submarines, diving kits and aquatic weaponry.
------------------------
Name: Celduri Homeworld: Okum, a planet plagued by frequent storms, quakes and volcanic activity. Despite this, the planet is still capable of supporting life, life which has evolved to endure the harsh climates. Allegiances: They serve under the Nagusian population as labour and blue collar workers. Lifespan: 35 years Appearance: Celduri resemble large, bulky humanoids, towering at twice the height of a human. Their 'head' is in fact the area between the two shoulders, rather than attached to a neck like mosy humanoids. Their skin is rough and extremely tough, able to withstand heavy blows and intense heat, and their strength surpasses that of the average human by far. Abilities: Extemely durable and strong Slow moving, largely emotionless A life of danger and certain death means they are stalwart and almost never flee. Other: Most of their population has been spread around Nagusian owned planets, where they perform the more monotonous and dangerous low-wage jobs, though some are also used by military forces as heavy weapons users and recovery units.
-----------------
Name: Brie Homeworld: Ayuum. The Brie still live in the oceans of Ayuum unlike the Tetanis, which are filled with a massive array of marine life. Many of these creatures are far larger than anything found on Earth, and the oceans themselves are incredibly deep, though the water shallows out near the few islands on the planet. These shallow areas, along with the few rocky formations that reach close to the ocean's surface, are where the Brie call home. Allegiances: They serve the Nagusi Lifespan: 200 years Appearance: They resemble the octopi of Earth, though bear 12 tentacles with which they use to move through the water and communicate. They are quite large, too, coming up to a human's shoulders in some cases. All Brie bear a white colour, and are capable of glowing when necessary. They do not possesseyes, and instead utilise their tendrils to detect their surroundings. To help with this, they are also capable of emitting a faint humming noise as a form of echolocation. Abilities: Excellent at multitasking Decently intelligent Incapable of surviving out of water Speak through a complex sign language and are incapable of speech. Other: Nagusi have built special 'waterways' and water filled rooms to allow the Brie to move around their cities and colonies uninhibited.

Name: Bylik Homeworld: Vrix - an expansive planet covered almost entirely by ice and many deposits of iron and gold. Little life thrives on thr planet, and that which does is largely cellular and aquatic, living in the deep oceans that have formed below the sheets of ice. Allegiances: None Appearance: A Bylik resembles a small fish no larger than a human's hand, with a largely transparent body and elaborate fins, resembling small planes in their shape.. Every Bylik is born blind in the dark oceans of Vrix, and they navigate by 'singing', a form of short range echolocation similar to that of whales, though with a shorter range. This singing has evolved into an entire language for the Bylik, as they use many different songs to communicate with one another about danger, breeding or anything of interest. Bylik also possess a natural psionic prowess in the form of 'Cloud Bonding', where many Bylik come together and form one group that moves and speaks together. Upon forming a cloud, all Bylik involved link their minds to one another into one entity. Every Bylik is then capable of singing in perfect harmony with one another, at a far greater volume than a single Bylik. This volume can be so great with enough Bylik that it can be used as a weapon against predators, defeaning the many creatures that rely on their hearing and lack sight on Vrix. Bylik also possess small gas pockets which are permanently filled, and allow the Bylik to fly, using their fins as wings. Abilities: Psionic Sound and Mind Mergin abilities Capable of Flight Other: Nada[
Name: Leivenixia Homeworld: Vrix, as described above. Allegiances: None Appearance: Leivenixia are colossal beings, each roughly twenty times the size of a Blue Whale. They resemble giant gray squid, with large bulbous heads and up to 46 massive tentacles. Each Leivenixia has a bony shell mounted onto the back of its head that keeps its more vulnerable body parts safe. Like most life in Vrix's waters, they are blind and rely on sound and touch Also like most life, they are also adept psionics, capable of mentally controlling lower life forms that they detect, utilising this ability to feed and hunt. Abilities: Powerful psionics Huge and powerful Other: adult Leivenixia are rare, less than 20 exist. This is because they release thousands of young after breeding, most of which eat each other as they grow up in some kind of twisted aquatic Game of Thrones novel. Few reach adulthood, though those that do find themselves topping the food chain.
