Not even the Drathians have that much knowledge regarding Abyssal society then... truly saddening. The knowledge coming from their interactions has been fruitful enough however. Esh, the Acruani in charge of the interaction with Phi, among other things, kept listening to the conversation between the Marker and the Drathian scientist. Avik sighed, sitting back in his lab chair and closing his eyes, rubbing his forehead. Phi had so far done nothing but gloat about his imminent demise. Still, he had gained some useful information, such as that the Abyssals had obtained a new leader, that they planned to invade Andromeda and Triangulum, and that the Milky Way was currently the main reason for their delay in invading elsewhere. Leaning forward in his seat, Avik decided to ask another question to Phi.
"What role do you believe the Drahians will play in your plans? Do you want them to resubmit themselves to your rule? Or are you going to destroy them like every other race you encounter?"

"Well, I can't speak for the High Council or the rest of my kin, but I'm pretty sure that we could spare you and your people, that, of course, if you completely pledge your loyalty to Us once again, and you will accept our Influence and Rule. You are still our children, even if you have been led astray by the distance between us. That planet, the humans, and the pale copies of Us you call Mind Flowers have corrupted you, and led you away from your true path. Still, it's not too late... of course, that's your decision to make. Because if you continue to oppose us, you shall be exterminated, and your name shall be forgotten. We have no mercy, and we never negotiate."

Avik shook his head, standing from his seat at the console. What the marker had suggested was unthinkable, unacceptable. There was no way that the Drathians would stoop down lower than themselves to spare themselves an invasion by traitors. And he would let Phi know that.
"You're disgustingly optimistic if you believe for a second that we will ever submit ourselves to you. You lost the Drathians long ago when your people decided that it was better worth your time to retreat rather than rescue stranded comrades. We have evolved and adapted far beyond what you could consider to be your subjects. We have not been corrupted nor led astray from your 'true path' of eventual self consumption and termination. We have been cured. Our eyes have been opened to see that there is more to the cosmos than your hapless efforts to rule it. Gloat all you wish, the Drathians have proven themselves to be a strong people, without your presence or influence. Strong enough where we do not need to swarm our enemies with their own dead, strong enough where we don't need entire armadas to fend off invaders. You, on the other hand? You have doomed yourself, for biting off more than you can chew. You have mistakenly declared war on the entire intergalactic community. Now you will pay the price for it."

"Rule? Who said that we want to rule the cosmos? We want to destroy it. To destroy everything. To kill every living being. To destroy the stars. To let the universe fall back into its original darkness, so that it will be reborn. And anyone opposing Us will end in a fate even worse than death.. it will become one of Us, one of Our servants.
If we have lost you, then so be it. Leaving you behind was still a good choice, just look at all the disasters you have caused. We're proud of you for that. But you are weak. You are mortal. You have feelings. You have evolved and adapted, yes, so you are no longer one of Us. But it has weakened you. You have ignored Our mission, Our objective, Our way to live. You have not been cured, you have been sickened. You live in your planets and ships, ruling your little empire, while the universe falls more and more into corruption every day. Death, slaughters, diseases, living beings.. everything will be cleansed by us. Living beings are the greatest plague that has ever infected the universe, and we are its doctors. We will consume everything, we will drag the universe back in the original darkness, where it will be reborn..
You might be strong, but we are even stronger. We do not need our enemy's dead to fight you. But it's much more convenient, don't you think?" At this moment, Phi seemed to giggle. "Why should we fight when we can let our servants do it? We haven't doomed ourselves. We haven't bit off more than we can chew. It's just perfect. Believe me, Drathian, we have fought enemies much more powerful and dangerous than your little Intergalactic Alliance. Against us, victory will be impossible. Every one of your dead will come to our side. The Darkness will cover the light. Eventually, you will be overrun. We will wait. We have patience. The Milky Way shall be the first, as the pathetic humans will fail to defend their home.. they're playing with things they don't understand.. eventually, it will be their doom. Eventually, we will win. And don't think that you will be able to defeat us like the humans did once. Even if we fail, We are not the only ones. If we fail, they will come to fix our mistakes. These galaxies are doomed, no matter what you try to do."

Avik's previously irked expression changed into something resembling a sly, confident smirk. He stood straight, dusting off his lab coat and turning his head to look at one of the mobile Acruani units stationed within the room with a nod before looking back to the monitor in which Phi was still visible. "Thank you for your information, Phi. What you have told me is quite valuable." Said the Drathian scientist, he shifted his gaze to the Acruani unit yet again. He was sure to shut off the microphone on the computer console, in order to prevent Phi from hearing any information that he didn't want the Abyssal construct to know. "I hope that this is enough for you? Their government structure, goals, and numbers. Should I ask for anything else?"

Esh was beginning to wonder whether or not the Marker was saying any kind of deceitful words as he noticed how through Avik was, So the Drathians truly are trying to get closer relations with us. An official meeting should be requested soon enough.
The mobile unit looked at Avik and said, "That should be enough for now. Though we can't trust too much any data given by her, it is far better than we have access to. You may continue to ask questions if you find pertinent though it may not be optimal." After all, just that amount of data was more than enough for now, there was little need to attempt to take all possible information from Phi so quickly.
