While Karraka had gone off to start his conquest of rebelling planets The Hoods where set in trying to get ready, they where different then the other Keltakens more peaceful and greatly less violent. Their race was a colony of sorts with all of their people doing what they could to make things easier for the rest of them, the self is forgotten and the greater whole becomes the importance. Even still their is recreations and other such enjoyment, for now however things where made ready and even a few races the colonials had never seen before where at the landing bay to welcome the newcomer, soon goshwakens would even arrive around the fleet to prepare for a very...interesting occasion one that would cripple the fighting force of the keltaken military but leave the Goshwaken as leaders for a time.
Daga smiled a bit nervous, he was bringing this girl back to his ship and he was needless to say nervous it would be odd having a human onboard. "I would like to welcome you to my ship, Hope of the Legion, it is nice of you to have agreed to come. As our guest and an observer of our society it will be up to you as to what i show you first if you have any questions please ask away and i will do my best to show you how our society works althought i will tell you now our little band is a bit different then most normal keltaken ships that will be in the second part of your little expedition." he smiled gently and slowly the ramp lowered the keltakens and some of the other aliens cheered a little at getting to see a human they where excited it was against usual protocal.

Retia was wearing the same black uniform of the Colonial War Fleet officers detached under the direct command of the Hegemon. She was now proudly wearing though an armband with the Colonial flag, the dark blue outlines, the red background, the Twelve Stars and the War Cross. She was armed the same as before, with a Colonial officer sword made out of pure Veranium, and a Colonial officer pistol, the dreaded .50 caliber dual/ kinetic- laser pistol used by the Colonial Armed Forces. But compared to before, while she was on her ship, it was clear that the safety of the pistol was off. So, if any of those filthy Keltakens would try to do anything... they would end up with many holes.
Next to Retia were two Androids, looking completely human like. Although, their exact features would be hard to notice. It was clear that they were wearing the classic dark blue with red Colonial War Fleet uniforms, but they were also wearing the military hooded trench coat, and the hoods on their heads were mostly covering their faces, making them impossible to see.
"So this is a Keltaken ship? It seems to be pretty small, at least compared to our battlestars..", the blonde haired Colonial girl said, looking around. "It would be interesting to see how exactly the hierarchy works on board a Keltaken ship. The Colonial Military has strict ranks and discipline, but I assume that it would be different in a Keltaken ship... especially since I heard that your Empire uses slaves. "

The Colonial Military has strict ranks and discipline, but I assume that it would be different in a Keltaken ship... especially since I heard that your Empire uses slaves. " "Kektaken vessels in this fleet are not as large as most counterparts, our ships are more focused on land based operations, we have little true weapons or need for them so our ships can afford to be small saves resources." This was true while most where the hammer of the Empire the more elite inquistion tried to focus on more practicle means, Karaaka was a bit of a exception going for overwhelming firepower. "Well if it is the Hierarchy that you wish to learn about then we will start at the bottom, like you say the Empire allows slavery yet we like to call it Indentured Servitude, and a large portion of the population that are slaves have signed away their life, their are none on my ship so we cannot exactly show you them...however we do have the next level of keltaken society the Grovak." walking over to a large green and bulkily built creature, "These are Grovak, they are builders, strong and amphibious they are a subspecies of keltaken as we have learned. Somehow they where found an entire system away as if plucked from our planet at their conception, in true fashion they gave a spectaular fight, however they are builders, they are strong, and they could rip any keltaken even me in half. However they do not have the mental capacity they need us to think for them now their assets are placed in better use." he grabbed the mighty builders arm and the Grovak could only smile, they loved getting attention they where like the stupid country cousin strong as hell but dumb as a rock. "Then we have our merchants, the Prolacti our traders, none are on our ship but youll know them when you see them. Their exosuits are the only thing that keep them from being crushed by just about anything. They are a very important part of our empire not a deal goes on they don't know about one way or another. Then of course you have the goshwaken our most trusted of seconds you have undoubtly known about them for quiet some time i would think. They are our close combat specalists and our diplomats they are far better at talking with other races. It is a true blessing to have them in our empire we value them greatly and some will be arriving soon." he took a breath and smiled now walking the colonial down the way showing her the different types of keltaken, "Now you of course know who is at the top of this Hierarchy, the Keltaken, in our many forms we have many names. Even our Hunters, the precious creations of our kind bred and birthed for conflict with your people now find new purpose as heavy shock soldiers do have any questions so far?'

Retia mostly remained quiet during Daga's explanations. Although they were surely strange from a human point of view, the Keltakens seemed to have a complex hierarchy. For an uncivilized and warmongering nation, they surely had strict classes. It kinda reminded Retia of what the historians said about the feudal human Earth.
"It really seems that we are complete opposites. Both the Keltaken Empire and the Federated Colonies are formed out of multiple races, but while in the Colonies, all races are equal, and the hierarchy is based off one's merits and abilities, it seems that the Keltakens have a strict racial hierarchy." The blue eyed Colonial girl said, as calm as ever."Do the Keltakens and the other races have rights, freedoms and sorts?"

"Of Course, if a grovak proves smart enough then he is allowed to be a scientist or as most choose a field commander, If a goshwaken wishes to promote his life to simple being a farmer they are allowed, their is no democratic election as your people have as we are a Monarchy of sorts. As for Freedoms all are allowed to do much anything they please besides murder, rape, things that most normal humans would find unworthy of society. However what happens in society and war are two seperate entities all together and i cannot stress that enough...as well all must work for the benefit of the entire Empire not simply their own or themselves the self is forgotten and the whole is what is taken care of. This does not mean that we are all simply dull we find time for enjoyment, a happy society is a productive society, that is my stations charge after all we are populace control the hoods find non-lethal ways to end hostilities and organize what you would call a union to help voices and needs of the people to be heard. If a society is in need within in the empire we are brought in which is why i am actually in this system...i am giving supplies to the people of this capital my soldiers are down their now, as far as right we have trails and challanges of sorts, if a person is wronged and lives through the ordeal he can call upon the Right of Vengeance, the guilty party is hunted down and then a verdict is given by a high warrior. If you wish to know more youll have to be a bit more specific"

"What happens in society and war are different things? So, you stop your people from murdering and raping at home, and yet you're allowing them to do the same things while at war? That's pretty hypocritical, don't you think?", Retia said, seemingly a little disgusted." So the Keltakens are all a happy little society... how nice. Though, I'd probably never understand your mentality. Most of the humans in this universe all long for freedom. Most of the human monarchies have disappeared a long time ago. We elect our own leaders. But the Keltakens live happily under an oppressive monarchy.. "
The blonde Colonial girl then remained silent for a few moments, looking around. "I still fail to understand how are the Keltakens able to coexist with the races in your empire. You're warmongering and barbarian, and you have tried to xenocide so many other races... and most of the other races in this part of the universe hate you."

"The simple fact of survival, as well as millenia of cooperation. The empire selected these races to join us not as slaves but as equals, each a vital part of the Empire. They are given representation and rights, we may be different then you but we do not neglect our own people. Regrettably all is fair game for the empire when it attacks an enemy. The keltaken philosophy is to strike hard and to strike without mercy. If war is declared it is ment to only end with the total destruction of the Empire or its enemy. My race grew up on a violent planet, cruel and inhospitable where only the strong survived. The creatures their where enough to destroy your entire planet if not for our god we would habe been destroyed, not to mention the introduction of laser weaponry to our society...our planet now rests as a broken husk bombed to a nuclear wasteland that few creatures still survive on..."

"So what, the fact that you lived on a harsh planet automatically gives you right to attempt xenocides over other races? Each race had a rough time at the beginning in their own ways. We humans had a hospitable planet, but we fought among ourselves so often that it's a wonder that our race managed to survive, especially after we discovered the nuclear bomb. One wrong press of a button during the Unification Wars and the entire Terra would have gone boom.", the Colonial girl replied. "But, yes, Mankind was also responsible of some fairly nasty stuff at the beginning, that's not something we can deny. But we were punished for that. The Long Night almost destroyed our race, and destroyed the hope of a unified human race for millennia. But even so, after that, we, the Colonies, are trying to fix the mistakes of our races. We no longer attack underdeveloped civilizations. We try to abide the intergalactic regulations. We help other races and nations. Mankind learns. Mankind evolves."
Retia then looked angrily at Daga. "Just because your race had a harsh time doesn't mean that you have to do these things to the other races. Your race is the highest danger to the intergalactic peace the Federated Colonies have been dreaming for ever since the Secession Wars. You are merciless, cruel, and in the conception of most of the Milky Way, your race is just like a pest, barbarian invaders. Unless your race tries to change, there will be absolutely no way peace could last."
