The Haven, carrier of the last known Quadrons still functioning was in trouble. The ship had taken heavy damage after a mining operation went awry, and the ship was now searching for a place to land before its engines failed. Surveying and scanning, the ship hoped that it could find a planet to land on, preferably one with civilization on it.
As luck would have it, the ship was making its way toward Acruani space.
((Destination changed because the Acruani guise we re lonely.))

Undisclosed Acruani System
It was a recently colonized system. though scans could find more than enough energy signatures just outside an asteroid belt in the system. The only planet with any kind of non-natural energy signatures was a slate blue planet in the outer edge of the system. Its blue, however, was not sure to any kind of water, it was only did to the unique soil composition.
While most of the planet was untouched by the Acruani, there were 2 city-sized structures on opposite sides of the planet, each structure looking like a metallic lotus.

Jumping into the system from nearby, The Haven started scanning nearby planets for a landing zone, when it picked up the unnatural structures on one planet in particular. Seeing it as its best chance of finding civilisation, the ship began making a beeline for the planet, only to have its engines begin failing as it made its approach.
As a precautionary measure, the Haven's internals started constructing several robot husks within its construction pods, althoughyit only picked out 1 of the crew cores to be installed. The core chosen was Reconnaissance Unit 16 - Drone 11, one of the cores recovered from their home and the most adept survivalist on board. He was to scout out the nearby area upon impact for anything of use or interest,

As the ship began to make its way towards the planet, it was transmitted through the system a message, "Welcome to the system, PXM-3O13. This system is a part of the Acruani Collective, please refrain from any forms of warfare and unrestricted scanning." The message itself would be originally in Galactic Standard, but would be replayed in a number of other widely known languages.
If the ship were to land on the planet and not be destroyed upon landing, it would be easy for them to notice the relatively low gravity of a planet for its size. Unless they were to land close enough to one of the structures, they would mostly find metallic dust.

Incapable of understanding any foreign languages, the Haven was unable to understand the contents of the message. It did however recognise the fact that a message meant that something living was here, and as such continued on its crash course near one of the metallic structures, beginning to enter its atmosphere. Unfortunately, the engines finally gave in and, despite a few last desperate sputters, quickly died, leaving the Haven unable to change course as it plummeted toward the surface.
Unless interrupted, the ship would eventually crashland, tearing up the ground for several miles before finally coming to a halt. One of its legs immediately snapped off upon impact, and several chunks of metal and debris were also torn off and scattered by the impact. By the time the ship came to a halt, it had made a considerable mark in its wake, bellowing smoke from gaps and holes in the hull. Still, it was alive at least, although only just.

There was not much the the local Overseer could do about an unresponsive ship crash landing in his planet. There would still have been little it could do even if they could have understood it. Even then as it crash landed, six Acruani Mobile Units adapted to low gravity environments such as the ones of the planet. The units basically went jumping from one of the structures towards the crash site assisted by some air jets they had to facilitate movement. Soon enough, they were able to see the trail itself, though the ship was still on the far end of it.

The hatch atop the Haven soon opened up, and out stepped a humanoid figure, put together from scrap metal and other salvaged materials. It had a long right arm made of a flexible crane arm and a left arm salvaged from pipes and gears. It's lower half was replaced by a single wheel with a fat tire for traveling the terrain. It's hear was but a damaged lamp with a few cybernetics haphazardly fitted into it.
The unit started looking around, before making its way toward the nearest metallic structure-

Though the humanoid figure and the small group of Acruani mobile units were going in different directions, due to the flatness of the planet, it wasn't too hard for both the units to notice the strange mechanical humanoid moving towards the local structure. Nor it would be too hard for the humanoid to notice them as well, especially as they began going towards it.
Even as they moved they tried to see if there were any kind of radio or electromagnetic kind of communication between the the unit itself and the ship. The ship hadn't answered them, so this was the least that could be done.

The robot did indeed spot them, changing its course to meet them. It was recording everything it saw, and sending all this information back to the Haven so as to better equip anything else that was sent out. The bot was moving swiftly, and was already attempting to scan the units as it closed the distance.

Most scans would show that under its armor there is something akin to artificial muscles made of some unknown material over some structure that resembles metallic skeletons. Other than some places on the center of its chest and head that scans can't seem to go through, the units are clearly weaponless... also observing and scanning the robot.
Once they are around 25 meters from the robot, the Acruani units stop attempting to hail it with vague greetings, in every language they have ever had knowledge of. The transmissions being made in a number of short range channels to hopefully be able to properly make contact with the robot.

The robots' lantern face lit up with a bright red light as it transmitted a series of projections, depicting its fate up until now. It also sent scans of the natives to the Haven, which quickly constructed a crude imitation of them as an envoy, sticking another Quadron core into it and sending it to meet the group.

The Acruani stayed immobile for a few moments after as a proper course of action was traced, at least long enough for them to see the 'envoy' coming their way. One of the Acruani began walking towards the structure, before beckoning to another, which then followed the first Acruani. The same repeated with every single Acruani until the last one beckoned to the 'envoy' and the first robot. All of the Acruani going ahead towards the metallic structure, hopping to be properly followed. After all, since proper communication didn't seem possible due to lack of vocabulary, the least that could be done was to establish a proper language between. And there were facilities inside proper to transfer information directly to the other machines. Or at least, give them something to be analysed and understood.

Both deployed Quadrons began following the Acruani, constantly transmitting to the Haven, which was now busy trying to fix itself. It started sending out more Quadrons mounted in various crude bodies to start gathering scrap that fell off the Haven, as well as an attempted recovery of the broken leg that had dropped off the ship. After doing this, it began sending out robotic workers that lacked Quadron cores, crudely programmed to help gather scrap. Most of these robots resembled small spiders with baskets and buckets atop them, and they worked diligently like ants, ferrying metal that was gathered by the Quadrons.

As they Quadrons and the Acruani robots began o approach the structure, it size became more than clear. Even the petals going more outwardly and coming almost directly from the ground were several dozens of meters from the ground. The ground itself seemed to make a small slope downwards as it got closer and closer to the structure.
Even from afar however, it was easy to see which entrance the Acruani were leading the Quadrons. It was a relatively large illuminated bay, large enough for almost all of the robots to stand size by size, but only slightly over 3 meters tall. The Bay kept going deeper into the structure for almost a hundred meters before all but one of the Acruani kept going foward, towards a wall. The other ones moving towards the side of the bay, walls before them opening revealing rather small alcoves, just the right size for the Acruani to enter before the close.
The last Acruani kept moving forward, the wall opening from the ground up and revealing a corridor, possibly endless considering the lack of illumination and how it curvature. The Acruani didn't keep going forward for long as soon enough a wall opened besides it, showing a large white from. Considering every part of it emitted a faint white light, it could be said that it was very well lit. Reception of external signals seemed to be better than at the corridor as well (as would transmission be).
Holograms that appeared at the far side of it, it wasn't any history but a well-compounded dictionary for the main languages of the major empires. The series of holograms quickly showed correlation in between them, even showing images of objects and actions. Should the languages in it be understood, and the previous message sent recorded, they would even know it was in Milky Way's Galactic Standard (primarily).

The Quadrons started scanning the holographic data, becoming unmoving and quiet for a lengthy amount of time. Eventually, however, the second Acruani-looking Quadron spoke in a tinny, robotic voice using Galactic Standard.
"EXUN01-25, PAUN51-08, QUADRON AUTOMATIC UNITS." It repeated this message a number of times, pointing at the lanternhead Quadron when it said EXUN, then itself when it said PAUN. Apparently it was introducing itself and its companion.
